I'm gonna be honest. My music taste is more Kristof style, but throughout the hole competition, my mind only wants to play and repeat over and over Robin's rounds. Robin is actually my favorite looper even tho his music is not the type of music that would be on my Playlist. I honestly think that Robin deserves this win because all of the effort, all of the creativity and all of his passion he has put into. Damn, he even put his own money on the table to record every round, he risked to kill the mk II by jumping on top of a car, drowning the loop, getting rolled on the street and even dropping the loop from the skye. He managed to do all that. Not to mention the awesome singing skills, the originality and the feeling his music provides; every round is a hole trip and a rush of emotions. Even though Kristof is a really great artist, to me the whole competition goes for Robin ❤️
Robin has definitely put a lot of heart and effort into his rounds, but I'm sure Kristóf has put as much if not more into his performances. I think all the time and energy that Robin put into his videos, Kristóf put into his music. And we all know it's a loopstation competition, not a creative music video competition. For this reason, I think Kristóf deserves the win, he was simply superior musically. Love and appreciation for both ❤️
This is a loop station battle not a video production battle plus robin had a lot of hands in his work it’s a nice touch don’t get me wrong but let’s not take away the essence of why we’re here

If there’s something that I’ve learned from this whole KBB event, is that whenever is a battle against Robin, all 4 rounds will be absolute bangers 🔥
Robin has been the most consistently great in the entire competition, but kristof did better in the final

Matter of music taste is a thing. But u cant compare real dj vs singer in dj competition. I am sure Robin with his vocal skills can easily win Music idol or the Voice. Its like the same with MB14 so good and talented but never go so far. Singing styles in loop station competition/battles it is not enough to show how good u are with the loop. Like in this battle 2nd round of Robin was very poor from the loop station ideas and movements(details,bridges,transitions, clean sounds,compression,mix and the ending just bad EQ) So my point is Kristof just took it easy, bcs this is his game and he give us a point of view how perfect and clear ur round need to sound. Kristof grow up very fast and for me was little bit underrated but in the end he take what he deserve.

You just have to understand robin's style and incredible flow first then decide
he is robin is doing like 2015 type of looping it's garbage. I honestly had to skip most of them let alone he is overdoing it with his dancers and air balloon. It's a battle it's the same thing when people put stupid crazy editing on wildcard videos.

Mixing is 300% easier on a second device than it is on single device, that’s why people like josh-o and Robin have worse mixing while frosty, Kristof, m-age all have perfect mixing
@@steviejrr Respect. Most people do not think it's garbage. People really loved Robin's by heart. We all have our own opinions but we need to be kind at the same time. It's not really nice to cuss at people for their performances. They all worked really hard on their performances. I actually thought the dancers were pretty cool. And the hot air balloon was what Robin wanted next. Land, water, air. It all goes together for Robin's love of nature. Robin's 2015 looping was NOT garbage. It was amazing.
For me, personally, Robin has already won. More enjoyable to listen to, and such nice battle moves.🎉

Robin has shown some crazy ideas for his videos, but in my opinion, when it comes to music, Kristof is the winner. Kristof introduced a broad spectrum of genres that we haven't seen in a competition before. His control is on another level, and the sound design is on point.

Broad spectrum of genres? Hell no!
Most of it was bass and drum which is easy to do, but his mixing abilities are top notch (even though he is using a foot pedal). In the contrary, Robin relays and focuses on his vocals, rather than using an extra machine to create melodies.
Some genres doesn't need a lot of mixes. So yeah, in the end it all depends of what kind of music you like more

Adding a dubstep bassline doesnt mean a song becomes Dubstep, Kristof has really covered genres all the way from trap to DnB at the same time maintaining his Dubstep style, remember the reason he adds those dubstep vibes to his rounds is cuz thats his style, in that way he maintains his originality and at the same time shows his versatility, thats why Rythmind voted for him against Josh-O
In terms of musical knowledge and expertise, Kristof really is superior to almost everyone in the tournament which he demonstrates quite beautifully by covering so many genres
Idk who will win the battle though cuz there r other aspects where Robin is better, infact even after the result is declared, u can still say anyone could have won this battle if the judges were different, both r masters in their own way

Kristof music is fantastic, clean, creative and unique. But Robin used his environments, and his vocals are relatable, human psychology says we will connect more with Robin. But this battle was incredible. Definitely the best virtual battle so far, it will go down on the loopstation Hall of Fame

It feels like a lot of these KBB rounds don't get the views they deserve. Maybe its just a matter of waiting for one of them to get picked up by the algorithm and sent out to more people. I guess in part its harder for people outside the scene to understand what's going on with the loopstation immediately, and the live setting and audience reaction kind of helps ground things a bit. But this KBB did so much to take advantage of the possibilities of the video battle format (even outside Robin's crazy video productions, there's just more consideration of the background visuals overall), so I hope it gets the recognition for the work everyone put in.
Maybe since a lot of people in this competition are competing in GBB, if their GBB rounds get really big it will lead to people being interested in more of their music and finding the KBB battles.
Absolutely, these loopers deserve more attention.
It's the fact that no known names are in this, I was not gonna watch any of it until I saw kristoff and I love his tracks since his house one in the online battle thing.
@@steviejrr Yeah that's a big part of it, but it seems like at GBB even people who aren't very well known can get tons of views and become more popular suddenly. Whereas with the solo KBB there's a big drop off in views for any battles without D-low.
Its still early, so some of the KBB loop battles may still take off later, but I'm guessing the participants who are also doing GBB will get more recognition there.
Yes, you're right that there are no known names in this competition and the other Ryan is also right about some new GBB competitors who don't get enough views either. Probably because they don't know what music is and proceed to listen to just hardcore beat drops and aggressive music.

no wrong answer here. i love their rounds for completely different reasons, but i just cant not give it to robin lmao his rounds as a performance are ridiculous with the video production and choreography, and just how freaking enjoyable robins music is. i always feel so uplifted listening to robin. despite all this, i cant help but feel bad for kristof with those beats dear god

His composition is underrated
Quoting what chezame said in one of his videos "we're at the point where the quality of the loopstation tracks now is just the same as a produced track". GBB21 is gonna be lit!!!
The only thing I'm sad about is that not every participant of the gbb will have the rc-505 mkII, only those who were given one for the sake of showcasing it's abilities in the kbb
@@TheVladacar true that tho, but that doesn't necessarily make the competition one sided. 2nd device is still allowed so yeah, it's still gonna ne exciting to see dice, soso, brez, and many others compete. Anyone has a chance to win here whether they're using a mk II or not.

Thats SOOO true, I was like "man, Robin might not have big chances, he's kind of an oldschool loop battler" but he managed to surprise me... I almost never sing beatboxers's songs, but Robin is an exception lol, I keep getting his tracks in my head
This whole event has redefined the expectations for Loop station Battles. I expect full on stage production scenes from Robin at GBB haha!

I had a hard time deciding back in the day who was the best looper, of course you have inkie, you have rythmind, dice, kba, robin. But every time I thought about it I could not forget the perfection that is kristofs music. Im not even a fanboy for him or particularly enjoy his style of music. Its just that In all the music he makes he hits the mark every time. I hope he does a wildcard for gbb 2022.
I will say this here - the effort put in by both is amazing and both are definitely eligible to win this. I found that Kristof was a bit stronger on the technical side. Musically, it's a preference so it goes either way. Visually, Robin killed it again... but there goes my rant on this: the help needed to produce those visuals leaves me a bit disappointed... read between the lines. I hope, in the end, that it'll be judged accordingly but we're somewhat in no man's land.

@@Danidasanic well that work, as far as I know, is still done by the looper and takes time to program... people seem to think that having a second device is like magic, it does everything for you... but it doesn't.

Ive been routing for robin all the way im such a fan of his style and his creativity with his beats and his setting for the vids. In my opinion robin has earned that fortis watch lol. Dont get me wrong kristóf did amazing and he definitely could win and has also earned it but i think robin went to high for kristóf to shoot down in the second round

Now , i do think kristof is one of the sickest loopers ever , but if im being honest I wasn't feeling any of his rounds at all.
I get that he fit the criteria and he had great sound design and mix

I'm a lover for electro, trap and dubstep songs and felt Kristof's rounds much more...
In the end they need some kind of criteria to judge things because the different ways we express each other is seen in our styles.
Stylewise both were on point with their own style but in the end, Kristof took the win by a small margin.

Both guys are professionals for sure, but the final round left no unanswered questions. Quality and sound were on the spot and with the main theme with a Hungarian folk song it really kills it. But once again... Hands up for both of them!

Kristof has indeed a better sound design, partly thanks to the external effect, which allows him to create complex sounds beacause of chains and presets. For a finalized sound judgement, he's indeed the winner.
Robin's tracks, however, are very vocal centered, and don't rely on other processors. One can expect a more genuine sound palette. Nothing extremely artificial. He's very talented with his voice. To me his music has more soul. However i admit the magic of his performances also rely on his visuals, and locations. Overall far superior if combined. His first clip is really impressive. It's music i would listen to again.

Robin's KBB run is phenomenal, but if I would judge "this battle" Kristof surely won. How? Better track. Period. Robin needs to work on how he write songs, his lyrics just throws me off (in a composer perspective). I love Robin's creativity on the videos but not as much as I like his track. I think that I should like his track more or atleast as much as I liked the video. However as I have said, Kristof's tracks are better anyway. Music is what hyped me up not the video tho (not saying I was not hyped by the videos of Robin like bruh it's so damn good). Big ups for both tho it doesn't matter who wins you both did well.
