I kind of understand people that are affected by Robin's stuff more, but the reason why I personally replay this battle again and again is KBA's 2nd round🔥🔥🔥 even a drum setup in the beginning is So satisfying OMG

My soul says Robin winner but my dark battle side says KBA winner hah, i want moreee of their rounds, sick music from both of them. But also both of them are at GBB now so it's gonna be harsh for them to prepare, specially for KBA who just found out. Understand that but the difference between quality of performing and mixing the sounds still goes to Thorsen(2016). The difference between level of sounds recorded on loop station and live beatboxing is to big. We also cant see progression in Robin rounds he just build up something and finish with it. It's a beautiful music and singing but this is not enough for loopstation battle. Loop skills, good mix and compression are minus point not bcs Robin, bcs other loopers out there who can do it better and one of them win the competition.
I haven't felt so.. emotional about looping ever before. I love both performers and their music. The more I replay this the more I think I've never and will never hear anything this good again. And how nice people they are. I would never want to judge this, No WAY.
Robin wins 1,000,000% off musicality and KBA wins off production. Robin definitely takes it for me though, love his style, versatility, and originality. He is paving the future for this format of battle

Robins second round is the best thing I have ever heard on loopstation and one of the best in music in general. Reeps said in 2019 we weren't ready for the evolution of loopstation and he was on the money, that was a freaking song.
Finally found the words to describe how I feel about this battle. KBA did a really good job at doing something that already existed but in a new way. While it's cool, it's not new and it feels like anyone could learn to do it because it's mostly technicality. Robin's rounds have soul and emotion that cannot (and was not in KBAs second round) be replicated. The originality and feeling Robin's rounds present are overwhelming musical and powerful and this is why Robin wins for me
KBA for next level battle moves and perfect counters. That over emotional singing robin does is only going to get so far on top of that the lyrics in robins first roung were so corny its not even funny.

I think being musical and knowing how to structure beats is all you need to win and Robin is on another level imo when it comes to that. As proof, he's the only person in the semi final who is only using 1 device, everyone else has 2-4 and they still don't sound as good. The lyrics might be corny to you but all he was mostly just saying was KBA no KBB lol simple lyrics that got the point across and I thought it worked well
I'm definitly not sure who is going to win this. Imo it could go both ways since kba had probably the best battlemoves in a loopstation battle ever. Either way both deserve the win here and it really comes down to personal preference.

Yeah man I just hope with such less time available to him for compiling all of his rounds cause he got to know so late that he is in the gbb,I hope he is able to perform at his full potential.
For those who don't yet know, both Robin and KBA qualified for GBB. Whoever goes into the finals here will be put under even more pressure to perform here and also prepare for GBB. They'll literally be recording their last tounds and then likely flying out to perform the very next week. I feel most for KBA, who has little over a month's notice to prepare. But I know he'll still kill it. But that being said, we are likely to see these two perform head to head onstage next month!!!

I think KBA won honestly. Robins first round was creative, but not that enjoyable. While KBAs first round was insane, that Batman drop was FIREEEE and unexpected. Both second rounds were excellent with robins one being a bit better. That is why I think that KBA won
Personally I think the batman drop was underwhelming. Now I'm not saying Robin was better but this time, this semi final doesn't hype me as much as the other listeners. The way you feel about Robin's first round is how I feel about all 4 rounds even though I loved both loopers in the quarters.
