Love your guides and how you show everything and explain it. You deserve more recognition
My man please never stop doing this kind of guides! You explaining everything so in detail and also care about visuals so you want to give best from both perfomance and visuals and that part is actually unique about your channel. I use your guides even with good pc because of the state of the games that comes out right now and also why not to give yourself performance boost with minimal visual changes and with your guides it’s easier than ever
Great explanations and fast to the point without explaining too much. Love it, thanks!
Dude, this is exactly what I needed! Thank you 💪
This entire channel is exactly what I was looking for when trying to find the best settings for myself; straight forward, to the point, and explaining everything going on the screen - chad channel
Wow the most detailed guide I have seen so far. Thank you very much!
When the game launched on steam and I finally got my hands on it and digged into the settings to tweak, first thing that came to my mind is that "Let's check if BenchmarKing already covered it or not". And all jokes aside, whenever I start a new game first thing I do is checking your channel for the best settings. Appreciate it, good work! :)
This channel gives exactly what people needed without BS . It deserver 100 times more subscribers .
Yes thank you! I have been waiting for one of your guides on this game. DLSS is implemented quite well on this game but I personally found there were still some areas worth tweaking.
Yes , even though it's an old Version (2.4.2) DLSS looks excellent and the game still needs more work and optimization to improve the CPU performance in crowded areas.
High quality video as usual, thanks for the good work
The video i was waiting for, thanks, really good job.
Another great coverage my friend, keep it up!
Best explanatory content I've ever seen. good luck mate thanks
I was waiting for this guide, thank you.
thanks mate, this was spot on & answered all my questions
Great review and recommendation of the settings! Can't wait for a Starfield video from you
Your channel is once again absolute gold. Digital Foundry yesterday released their video and said they found no noticeable effect from the Animation setting; I was absolutely certain there was going to be one when the crowds got bigger, but they didn't bother waiting to reach the city and test it out (probably to not miss out on the attention by making the video too far from release). I really appreciate your dedication in fully exploring potential areas of struggle, this makes your work immensely helpful.
Hi sir, may i ask that Animation Level of Details if setting to Low, whether affect to the characters during battle?
@@quocsipham714 Honestly the game is somewhat less demanding during battle, as it automatically switches to a point-down perspective and I imagine it does a lot less background rendering. Most combat situations are not in the middle of a big pack of people, the biggest one I have experienced so far (just starting act 3) in the towers was a bit laggy but I doubt it was due to the animation (which I imagine would be on the GPU) and had more to do with CPU constraints. Maybe BenchmarKing can confirm that, I am just making a somewhat educated guess, but I stopped tracking my own performance after fiddling a bit at the start of the game.
I stopped watching digital foundry after finding out this channel
This is something i noticed a long time ago tbh. When digital foundry reviews the performance in a game they never play beyond the 2-3 hour mark and it's a reason i take their performance reviews with a grain of salt. Don't get me wrong they are really competent but game performance varies wildly throughout the game and that's information they simply never give
BenchmarKing > Digital Foundry
Really useful and we'll explained, thanks!
I love your videos, you doing great job, thank you!
My brother, let me tell you this, you are a very underrated channel. Your videos are helpful, and and i really believe you deserve more attention on this channel, keep it up bro!
(You helped me specifically with hogwarts legacy, and Red dead redemption 2)
Awesome Guide Loved it . Thanks!
Whenever i start a new game and need to setup the graphics, i always look up for your vids. Keep up the great work!
Great video as always!
Great guide. Thanks!
Best optimization for the best RPG game. Thank you!
Great video! Helped to actually make the game playable on my pc
Thank you! Finally someone who is testing the city performance and not just act 1.
All in low or all in high results in same bad performance for me in baldurs gate city :/
@@pedrovaladao. Yeah, it's pretty bad. I'm getting CPU bottlenecked at native 4k with max settings. So it's currently useless to change settings for the city. Just put everything to max, if your GPU allows it. Love the game, but it's sadly another unfinished, buggy mess (Especially Act 3).
@@vendetta0554 Yeh no changes improve performance... meaning they didn't optimize Act 3 at all, meanwhile Diablo 4 runs in 300fps.
I made a video on it if you care to see it, where I talk about the performance. 😁
@@pedrovaladao. This is the case for me but for most of act 1 and 2 as well. Have a 3060 and Ryzen 7 and no matter what I get VERY frequent stutters and fps drops but no matter the settings changed I get roughly the same performance. Doesn't help that I'm not very good with computers either so I don't really know what I can do to fix it nothing seems to work. This is so weird to me as virtualy nobody has complained about performance in act 1 and 2 so I can just imagine what act 3 is going to like like for me...
one of the best suscriptions i ever done, thank you for your work, i hopw yo grow even bigger you deserv it
Thank you for the guide!
fantastic video - thank you!
Can’t wait for more videos my friend we have so many games coming this year
I've been waiting for the return of the king for so long!
thanks .great work , well done
wooo been waiting for this video
finally I've been waiting for this
Thanks for the video, AWESOME❤
Thanks for another informative video (:
Imma save this for later, thank you my friend.
I don’t even have this game but I watch the video to support you
This about my fifth video and I can say your guides are A1 👍💪🏾
For best experience to play a game, i always looking forward for you Videos, thx for the work 😊
perfect guide thank you! do you have any suggestions for optimizing hair texture? mine still looks pixelated, especially around the edges / where there are thin strands
I havew the exact same PC specs and these guides are amazing. Thank you!
Excelente guia hermano, un saludo.
3 games now, nvr stop making these videos you the goat 😁👌
My old 1660Ti appreciates your channel very much.
excellent, as usual
Thx man!
Man you are the best!
Would do CS 2 next? I'd love to see it! i'm having some issues running the game and I've seen others struggling too!
Thanks for the help man, your videos are great!
Thx! Im going to try your recommendations for dealing with CPU bottleneck.
Thank you for this helpfully video
I hope you're also enjoying your time playing this game. Good job yet again!
Number one 🔥🔥
Best Channel, pls keep on
Subbed!
Excellent guide
Really THX.
Thanks!!!
Thank you
Thanks you for the information, what was the music playing in the background?
Top tier channel🤘
By any chance, can you update the benchmark now that we got 2 patches?
Love your guide my friend. A suggestion - when it comes to Anti Aliasing, i found that by combining DLDSR 1.78x or 2.25x and DLSS Performance you get a lot sharper texture while performing almost the same as native resolution. It doesn't hurt to try it out. Cheers
Extremely useful as always, thanks. How many hours do you spend doing research for a video like this?
I can’t wait for your Starfield optimization 💚🚀
Tks a lot sir for the video, could someone help me, once adjust the Animation LOD to “Low” does it affect to the animation of our character when during the battle?
I only came here to LIKE this video. Will wait for your Armored Core 6: Fires Of Rubicon video on 26th August.
Your videos are excellent! Thanks!
However, even after using all its settings and seeing a significant improvement in FPS, I am still having stuttering problems during combat.
Do you know how I can solve this problem?
Can I run in 4k or 2k with this notebook: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11800H @ 2.30GHz 2.30 GHz; RAM 16Gb; nvidia RTX 3060 6Gb? Thanks!
Note: Animation Level of Detail in High is required for mods of new character heads, bodies, etc.
For patch 2 users, fast travel to rivington then back to the city for some potential fps gains.
Love the content! Was just wondering, When can we expect the starfield video roughly?
I haven't got my hand on the game yet , so you can expect the video to be ready next week, either on Wednesday or Thursday, provided everything goes smoothly.
Hello there really thankfull for the videos but I have a question are these optimized settings also applicable for rtx 3050 8gb variant?
you are hero!
I enjoy doing this type of A/B testing myself, because it varies between AMD and Nvidia what gives the best bang for the buck setting wise. And even GPU to GPU due to drivers. For Nvidia users this will be incredibly helpful. Detailed and easy to follow. Great stuff!
Even with the Game have explaination of the settings, You give us a more detailed explaination of this. Thanks ❤
Ryzen 5900x, RX7900xtx.
I've mainly used Vulkan for bg3, I didn't feel any performance difference (though I didn't measure). But I also found Vulkan to me more unstable and crash more than DX11, so just for that reason I'd probably recommend DX11.
I really hope they can improve the cpu issue because it's really unconfortable navigating the city with the constant stuttering.
Spoilers they never fixed it. And just lazily optimized it for console.
The King has spoken
Will there be the optimization guide for CS2 open beta?
Fps drops dramatically when interacting with characters especially in crowded areas in act 2 (example the inn) ... The game hogs my cpu and graphics card but does not seem to use it properly or it is something else?
Are you going to make an optimized settings guide for starfield?
Good job
Go to ACT III see how things change
Wait is that I thing? I have the most grainy textures in act 3 and I thought it might have been because of an update and an included change of settings but if that’s a real thing then I can stop trying to reset the settings. 😅
What do you recommend with a I5-10400f, a gtx 1050TI and 32 GB of ram? Or should I not bother?
I was told to use Vulkan, but since using it I keep getting black boxes flickering at certain points in the game (cutscenes, overly populated areas ect)
someone plz tell me what ost is playing at 4:27. Can't find it on spotify
thanks my game was looking ugly lol, it it perfect now
I like your content very much, can you make an optimization video in Farming Simulator 22 ?
Can you release article guides?
This test is good! I just got a 3060Ti just like in the video, but with a 11th gen i7 and 32GB RAM and on 1440p.
The reason I'm looking at this is because I noticed a few frame drops in the hollow near the start and the graphics don't look at good as I would have gauged from watching gameplay on youtube.
I have everything on high and even ultra, but that's the way it was preset at the start. I turned on V-sync and anti-aliasing, but I still notice some jagged geometry along curves and especially the hair, but thin things like foliage and hair appear still appear aliased and blotchy. Any tips?
EDIT: I think I have it on SMAA, I will try TAA or DLSS/DLAA. Great video!
EDIT2: It worked! For some reason I have to re-set the settings every time I boot up the game, but TAA+FX and FSR off made the graphics looks SO much nicer! The other settings are as you suggested, but this is the main thing I think. Thank you. Although I got frame drops again after 7 hours of playing again back at the hollow
you are just an angel fallen of the sky, my friend
I was creating my character when this video came out
I have a similar hardware setup and I get between 5 and 10 fps in act 3 even at minimum settings. I've tried all the tips to boost fps but nothing seems to work.
I know most of my issues are just my hardware being outdated and just about being able to run the game.
Really sucks, because I don't have the money to upgrade much rn, but if anyone struggles with textures taking forever to load and loading screens, I've been made aware that SSDs are really cheap rn, so worth looking into as that's likely to help a lot with those issues.
Some mods may have you changing those settings. I am not sure if it's my hair mods or more head options, but if I don't have Animation Level of Detail on High my head starts to float off into the distance haha
As someone who loves high frames and good graphics equally this is a game where I've no problem having a lower framerate if it means it looks better. Since it's turn based it could run at 30 and it wouldn't be a big deal since timing is never a concern.
I was having an issue with stuttering which is a hassle no matter if the graphics look good or not. The important thing is consistency. This guide helped a lot and then after tweaking your settings, I recommend capping the FPS according to your preference (like 60fps, or 30fps like you said). No matter how good your graphics look, getting rid of stutters improves quality of life immensely.
Can you do an update of this optimization after the patch 1?
How do you have the dlaa option. It doesnt show on mine
please make a optimization video of COUNTER STRIKE 2 open beta
