Great thing to watch on you tube i have been around these trucks most my life and have a great freind that drives a kw use to drive a pete but for me wish i could afford a set up like that the trucks with straight pipes i love the louder the jake the better roll on

last month I did my written tests for CDL, I'm taking my school courses in La belle Florida. in End of June. I have two hunters already talking to me. one from ABCO Jacksonville & one I follow on RUclips with Allie Knight. The biggest I ever drove was 40' Winnebago Itasca coach & a 22' trailer, for 3 years ( that was fun in traffic ) But a BLAST to drive. so I have been follow you, fullTilt503 (as I drive this way in real life) no points or tickets in 37 years of driving, and have no intentions of starting now. so I watch and learn.

I haul my dads show cars with my KW, I'm overweight all the time but because my truck is registered as a RV I don't have to stop at scales so I have no issues at all.
+Blown Mafia correct, rv's are not under the same rules that trucks have but rules for rv's are different state to state

All I have to say buddy is it about time someone on here talks about trucking and really knows about it. just to point out that some ports and some military bases wants that backup beeper as well. And I do have on question. Do they always have tri axle trailer mods? like why can't it be a spread axle or tandem axle? hope they will have a East or a Wilson spread axle. and it would b nice for lift axle on a spread so turning or empty to lift it. I am in a process of building my computer so for now I get to watch. keep that shiny side up. c'mon

+dalton duke yeah I'd have the drop axle on still but it drops the truck thru the world map in game so it's been removed for the time being.

+George Brooks I'll see what I can get together. It seems like every day I have to change something because a mod updates or doesn't seem to work because of 1.2.
The only downside of some of these mods, they price them way too cheap. I like realism and working for my goals. You can't go wrong with the 389 though. Sexy truck in game and in person.

No,a wheel is not required to play the game but preferred.
What do you play this on? I've into this kind of things since I was a kid and have kept interest. I would really like to know more about these particular games and play them all! This game is for PC only and is bought thru Steam. You download it and start playing. There are CD versions that can be bought in stores or online at Amazon but majority of people buy thru Steam. Plus you will need a decent PC. A bargain basement PC most likely wont cut it.
How did you get the mods to extend the frame and like do all the interior etc.???
With the Viper/TAM 389,the long chassis is a option on all cab versions.
Hi casketman20 was wondering where did you get your shifter from,in an old video you said you do not recommend getting it’s from Csio so where did you get yours?
Mine is from CSIO before they went down hill. I honestly do not know if they have recovered.

+George Brooks Be sure you are on 1.2, Then at the profile screen,go into the mod manager and they should show up there. You have to activate them,confirm that so you can leave and they should show up in game.
If you knew all of that already and they are still not showing up,then I dont know what could be wrong. I know Steam was having issues last night but Im not sure if that would effect getting mods seeing when you hit the plus icon on the mod,it downloads it directly to your mods folder.

I do have a engines and sound pack in the mods doc so that might help.

+George Brooks I do know that about half of what I have right now can be found in the Steam Workshop for ATS. But seeing I am about to leave for work,I will see what I can get together tonight. So give me a day or 2 and I'll try to have something in google doc like Fulltilt in my next video(not todays lol)

Why would steel coils ever need to go to a construction site? Steel coils would normally go to a mfg plant of some sort.

Where do you get all your mods from??
+Jonathan Rodriguez The Steam workshop has started to put out mods which are the same that you can find on sites. But besides the workshop,I look for mods at sites like Modland.net and ModSats.com but there are more out there than just those 2.
Why don't you use the eaton fuller in advanced mode. Made the game so much better and real for me.
+lazer51 I do have it set up that way and I do float the gears most of the time but there is no gear mashing sound with this mod. I normally drive with the clutch in the lower gears but once I get into 6th and up,I normally float. I still miss the gear here and there mainly because I was to slow to get it into the next gear.
What confused me was not seeing the low hi indicator on the dash display, just numbers. Thought the eaton fuller always showed that. Sorry I'm still learning the game. Thanks for your cool videos.
+lazer51 Not all transmissions are the same. Some have the setup like you are talking about and others have like what I have. My friend with EVOL PC Gaming(couple of comments up) uses the trans setup like you talk to in his Freightliner. The one that I am currently using has 6 gears on the low end. 5 really because one is the 'granny gear' or L for low. After 5th gear,I hit the splitter and move up to the next 6 gears. My final gear (12th) is on the 2nd splitter.

There is another Fontaine Phantom with the V1.2 at the end. That is the same pack as the Solaris one I just posted,just uploaded by someone else I believe.

+Jesse Johnson most trucks that you can download like the 389 I have already have items you can add like I have. Stock items as well could be included like motors and transmissions.
Other items can be downloaded like more engines, tires,rims and even paint jobs.
Sites for those items can be found by doing a Google search for ATS mods which will bring up multiple sites. The steam workshop is another place to get mods but you'll need to be sure you're on version 1.2 for ATS.
Also keep in mind that not all mods will work seeing the game has updated and many mods haven't yet.

I did drive local for 15 years in and around Chicago. Not semi (legally,did shuttle trailers here and there). Plus getting a tractor trailer into a Jiffy Lube isn't easy (or possible for many locations lol)

It's for PC/Laptop only and $20 for the game. Online (Multiplayer) is free,just a mod you download and no truck/trailer mods can be used. That is single player only

I'm completely not getting what the problem is with the Detroit power ? Did you say it's because you don't like the way the jake sounds .. Really bro ? So the Jake dictates what power you use ? Wow... OK ....Why didn't you slide the tandems up one notch or two ? that would have pulled the weight off the steer wheels I used to work for an Italian food importer in Connecticut and would take Our Old Mack U model and hook up to a 40 ft overseas container sometimes with Olive oil or San Pelegrino mineral water or even pasta but everyone of them heavy . This Mack had NO power steering and as long as I was moving it wasn't to bad , and as far as backing into the loading dock it was a breeze blind or not .. So driving for me is a NO brainer ..I enjoy the alone time...
+Michael Laverty you can't slide the tandems in this game. But yes. The SOUND of the engine and Jake dictates what engines I use in the game

+Barry Stewart This mod I have uses the tri axle,there are others which I plan to switch out because I am not a fan of all the trailers having 3 axles. I have seen a mod with trailers that have split axles besides the Phantoms but Im not sure if its been kept up to date seeing the game has updated. Also,if the mod breaks the game (normally the AI truck traffic wont have trailers),then I wont use the mod. But I have yet to see a trailer pack that allows for a axle to be lifted but I wouldnt rule it out in the future.
But I have more videos coming,some serious,some not so much. But Im glad you enjoyed and thanks for watching!
