I started as a casual when I listened to What followed by MaPa but when I watched vlogs, interviews and Show break, I fell into the rabbit hole. And i can't get enough of them. Just love their performances, their outlook specially Pablo and their personalities. ♥♥♥

Additional info: Tilaluha was their debut song while Go Up was supposed to be their disbandment song but it became viral in 2019 and it saved them from disbandment. Then What? was their first single release last yr 2021. Mapa was their second single for that yr and after it went viral they released a band version of it . And Bazinga their only track that made it to the top spot of Billboards Hot Trending Songs. What?, Mapa and Bazinga are both tracks from their Pagsibol EP that was released last yr. The other tracks from their pagsibol EP are Mana, Ikako and SLMT. Ikako originally released last 2020 during lockdown. And they made another version of it and put it on the EP. Mana is the only track in the EP that has no music video. And lastly SLMT, this track that is dedicated to A'tin (SB19 fandom) and they released a music video of it before new years.
And all of the songs included in their Pagsibol EP are all composed by the leader,Pablo 💙
MAPA didn't got viral before Band Version, in-fact MAPA got more popular after the release of Band Version. I totally remember this since I've pretty much check the song everyday after its release to stream and I can guarantee that the song blew up after band version was released, I can still remember the original version getting 1 million views a day at its peak, and it continued for 2 weeks i think.
Also, I think the Band Version was already re-arranged by Ben&Ben before the original song's release. SB19 came to the Ben&ben house for their kapangyarihan collab and i think that's where they recorded both of the songs. And those happened before the release of MAPA. No harsh feelings intended, just getting the facts straight.
I didn't know that Go Up! was their supposed disbandment song 😩 I'm glad they went viral!

They were in the verge of leaving the company, iirc, with the release of Go Up until their dance practice video for this song trended on twitter with people praising their talents.
Mapa is a word play actually from Mama and Papa and "mapa" is literally translated as "map", technically treating our parents as our map, our guide.
Also they sang it with the band Ben and Ben so the people singing with the instruments are the members of Ben and Ben, which you hopefully check as well.
On Bazinga, at 44:53, that's the date when Go Up dance video went viral, months after the song was officially released.

SB19 OMG 😳 Justin is my bias he's just sculpted beautifully gorgeous and talented like that and I agree that when he sings, there's passion in his voice. I really do hope you can check out more SB19 stuff, the solos are awesome. Ken, sings in Bisaya, a language in the Philippines. The music they make and the jokes these men throws in their contents are giving me so much life.
SB19 members are legit artists, all passionate, humble, and genuine people...all members are talented lyricists, composers, and producers especially their leader(Pablo) who has most credits in their works...P-Pop had always been looked down by locals here in the Philippines, like we never took them seriously but SB19 broke that...people have finally recognized their talents and high quality works, that's why their popularity rose, they even got their first ever nomination in BBMA's Top Social Artist....their song "Bazinga" got #1 in hot trending songs for several weeks(together with BTS and other big Kpop groups), and never fell in top 10 for several months💙 hope u do more SB19 reactions in the future, especially their live performances, their live vocals are crazy🔥

I enjoyed your reactions so much! It feels like I’m watching them for the first time. SB19’s Pablo is a gifted lyricist. He wrote all their songs though he always says the final output is a collaboration of all five of them since they do majority of their choreography. Witnessing how they evolved as artists and finally found their distinctive sound is heartwarming. They sing with passion making their live performance an awesome experience. SB19 played a major role in the recognition of PPop (Philippine or Pinoy Pop) as a genre. Their leader Pablo writes all their songs, Stell choreographs most of their dance and Justin is the Creative Director of their MVs and concert. Personally, I prefer the original version of Mapa to the band version. Ben & Ben is a 9 member folk band, so everyone with instruments in the music video are members of Ben&Ben. The 5 songs you reacted to are the same 5 songs SB19 performed at the Korean Round Festival held last January 2022 representing the Philippines. - In Tilaluha (1st song), the person that reached the high note is Stell (it's him who was belting those high notes thru out their songs)
- The person rapping and the singing next on Go Up (2nd song) are different. They are Josh and Stell, respectively. The one with the deep voice is Ken.
- In Mapa (3rd song), you're right that the two guys singing with guitars and the band behind them are the 9 members of Ben&Ben.
- In What (4th song), the voice that you loved on the last bridge was Pablo and he actually WROTE the song by himself. He's also one of the producers of the songs. He's the leader of the group and mostly wrote and produced SB19's songs. He wrote Bazinga as well.
- The one who rapped on Bazinga (5th song) was Josh and the one who sang BEAUTIFULLY after him was Justin.

I just stumbled upon your channel because your tweet appeared on my feed for some reason and I really enjoyed watching your jaw drop. But to be honest, you barely scratched the surface because they are monster live performers. You should check out the live performances of their ballads and you'll completely forget about the studio version. TILALUHA from TM PUSUAN and HANGGANG SA HULI from the WISH BUS are total EARGASM. That's guaranteed. Even BAZINGA on the WISH BUS is so good. About MAPA, the original version is WAY BETTER than the BAND VERSION and it was the 5th MOST GOOGLED SONG on the planet in 2021. But it only has a lyric video with over 70M views.

Fun fact: you mentioned about What? mv's budget. Do you know that they only had limited budget/resources on that mv(actually most of their mvs)? The members even helped making the props together with their prod team. There is a 5 part bts videos to it and you'll learn there how seriously talented and diligent this group is.
Mapa (Band Version) is great! The arrangement with Ben&Ben gives off very happy vibes. Though I do recommend that you listen to the Mapa (original version by SB19 - lyric video) then the orchestra version. One of the most touching songs I have heard in my life.
I like the MAPA the original version because it makes me cry than with collaboration with Ben and Ben Band.

I have been a fangirl of many groups already and THIS GROUP in my opinion is the worth stanning of them all. They have been through A LOT before breaking into the scene. Their backstory is so moving and inspirational. They are so hardworking, and they are phenomenal live. Now, they are hailed the PPOP Kings of the Philippines. They write, produce, sing and choreograph and conceptualize their own music and MVs. Definitely one of the best groups today. They are nominated btw at the BBMAs, fyi.
You should definitly check out more of them ^^ i also recommend the live stage of "Mapa" the band version is more chill but the original is more powerful in my opinion

Thanks for this, but you'll appreciate them more when you see them perform live. When they perform, they own & set the stage on fire. You can watch the PPOP Con, Dunkin donut presents SB19(these 1st 2 concerts are recent ones with live audiences) or Korean Round festival(this one is a virtual performance since it was at the height of the pandemic). They are all singers, dancers & rappers. Pablo the leader, wrote all the lyrics in their first album-Get in the Zone, composed & wrote all the songs in their PAGSIBOL EP. Stell their main vocal is also the main choreographer in most of their dances with the help from Ken(the group's bass). The BUNSO(youngest in the group),Justin is the group's creative director in most of their MVs( he's a Multimedia arts graduate). Josh is the lead rapper.So in short, SB19 as a group is a total package and we A'Tin(pronounced like the number 18) are very proud of that. If you want to know them more please watch their vlogs and interviews. These guys are hilarious off stage but monsters when they perform

I know this is just your first look on SB19, for that alone, I thank you very much (these guys deserve attention). I just wanna put this out there: these guys sound better LIVE. No cap. To begin with, the studio versions of their songs are crafted such that their harmonies (one of their strongest selling points) is sometimes covered up. These guys tend to develop adlibbable habits as they perform their songs which actually evolves every live performance so it gets better and better the more they perform it. That and their harmonies are just so much richer live. Their harmonies are hands-down one of the best among modern boy groups (it's also very trademark Filipino).
Even if you don't react to them anymore, I hope you do (in your spare time) watch some of their live performances (their ballads for a full experience of their vocals; and their dance songs for their showmanship, choreography and vocal stability). Well then, thanks again and best of luck!

Very proud to be a fan (A’tin) of this group. They are worthy of global attention bc of their hard work, obvious visuals, undeniable vocals and talents behind the performances. They write their songs (leader Pablo is the musical lyricist genius), choreographed their own dances and produced most of their songs. Thank you for shining a light 🔦on them. Since you said that Bazinga is like part two of go up, that actually kind of makes sense. They have a Go up reference on the Bridge part with the lyrics "Last time I thought I already, told you that I'm always ready. Come on and test me You know nothing's gonna stop me" That is a nod to Go Up's Pre-Chorus which is "You know I'm ready, Come on and test me"
edit: for a suggestion, i suggest watching the round festival performances. They were chosen as Philippines' representative there. (which where Ben&ben also represented philippines the year before) They performed all of the songs you reacted aside from Mapa which they performed in its original version. Its all live vocals so you can see them in real action, Hope you can check that out!!
