The original arrangement starts off with Pablo’s latsarat sara. With this new arrangement, imagine if Justin missed that intro drop. That was so hard! It will cause a domino effect on everyone and that would be it. No retakes. But our boy pulled it off. And got a nod of approval and huge smile from our pinuno, Pablo. I love it!!

Kudos to Stell, we know he can do more but he never overpower the other members making the song cohesive. Along of course with everyone who are amazing vocalists.
Yeah. I think he has the hardest parts because he had to control the power in his vocals to complement and blend and to still provide the needed lift. It's like he has his own equalizer and volume control.😂
Yeah, his notes are the most powerful part esp. when the climax part is approaching... but in this environment where the audio tracks and instrumentals are almost fully softened, he needed to adjust and did lots of control to level up with the tones of the others.

MAPA was a great decision to showcase on The First Take. This song resonates with any audience and for centuries after! They were just absolutely AMAZING! Eating CDs for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and midnight snacks lol.
So incredibly proud of Josh and Justin and how much they've improved vocally. They were already good to begin with, but they just refined it even more. And Josh's part with the conviction he sang the lyrics especially knowing his background😭

Nice reaction as always Ms. Julie! The boys nailed it once again. I love that Stell sounds exactly the same as the studio versions everywhere he sings. I agree that Ken's part should have been boosted more for a fuller experience, but if it's something like Wish Bus or official releases. However, that's the point of THE FIRST TAKE. The performance to be posted has to be the RAW, AS IS, UNTOUCHED. If it has to be tweaked, it defeats the purpose.

True about not being able to hear Ken that much. I think that was the idea of their request before about 2nd take. Part of the logical reasons beside being nervous they forget when to stay away from the mic when you are in the zone and this is just 1 take. What is in your mind is your part doing it the right way and forget other tech issues. Still the outcome in general is soo great.

I really love the melody and varied vocal tones of our MAHALIMA, especially when they are harnobizing. From that cool, soft but crisp intro from Justin, Josh's clear and strong lines, the soft high notes and adlibs of Pablo, Ken's husky falsetto and low vocal register , and the strong but controlled high notes, falsetto and soft high croons from Stell. Collectively, they made anotger unique and gorgeous rendition of MAPA 👍👌👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Couldn't agree more on Ken's part, always my concern every time they sing MAPA, that the 4 voices harmonization was too loud. (The 4 Voices are too powerful overpowering Ken's singing falsetto) wished they could have laid-back on harmonizing that part just a little bit or they could have just harmonized how Ken executed and sang that part. But all in all they always did it with flying colours 🎉❤❤❤❤❤
It’s ok because most of the time bass is usually the subtle one or it will overpower the whole song instead of complimenting. Even if Ken’s bass is subtle it’s very noticeable. It’s like cooking adobo. The vinegar is there but must not be overpowering otherwise it’s not going to be a very good adobo. 😬✌🏼
