Stu the insect is cicadas that makes that loud noise. Very common in Cambodia and Thailand. Enjoying the vlogs

Kampon Chnang Province was well-known for their home made clay pot products. Pursat province is only an hour away and my family was sent there from Phnom Penh to work in the rice fields and most of them died there. Battambang Province is also a few hours from Purdat towards Thai border. If you have a chance, visit these quiet and peaceful area with many things to see and do. Happy travels!

The history of Cambodia is horrifying when you hear of what happened. I am going to be heading up to Battambang tomorrow as I’ve heard it’s a fascinating city. Unfortunately I only have a few days left on my visa so I’ll have to return one day to see everything I’ve missed out :)

Really like the guest house, very tranquil. As you say it's good to get away from other touristy places & check out 'real cambodia' look forward to next installment.

Mate, I’m at the same guesthouse now. Probably because you told me about it. My room is at the back where you stayed but being filthy rich my room has air con and a fridge. (US$15) The lady that owns the GH is not aware that you posted such a good rap re her GH on UTube. She has copied the link from me so she can watch with her family. She seemed over the moon about being on UTube
    Well done

US$ 15?? Wow you are rich lol :) I loved Kampong Chhnang. No tourists or backpackers, just an authentic Cambodian town :) Hope your travels are going well?

It was a really good guest house but it had a hostel feel about it. I spoke to more people here than I have done in proper hostels.

You appear to have a good camera Stu, what is it (you may have already answered this so sorry)

The camera I use is a DJI Pocket 3. I bought it in Bangkok last month at the MBK market. It’s really good and easy to use :)
