    Damn man what an explanation. It’ll not only see a review for people but you literally just explained how to use the flasher for fishing. Nice job!

    Its a simple, solid, very effective, practical little unit.
    Mine has been BEAT TO HELL AND BACK actually held together with tape and riveted aluminum bar with well over 100 lake winnipeg trips and it still works great LOL.
    One thing I'd recomend is an old car mat or chunk of foam to put underneath it. Specifically the bird35 is famous for giving Darren tantrums from the vibration noise it makes humming against the ice hahaha.

    • @jagfishing836
      @jagfishing836  4 года назад

      I bet you guys give em a beating up there! The freaking things take a slammin. Thanks for the tip. I will probably try to cut out a foam pad to size and glue it on the bottom or something. I can see that becoming a little annoying hah

    Good video. Really helps explain the units features for the beginner.
    I’m also from Manitoba Canada and while this unit is affordable it is not cheaply made at all.
    Works well and helps catch fish.

    If I am fishing in 45 feet of water but the fish are about 15 to 20 feet down, do I use the 19 degree scope?

    • @jagfishing836

    Which one is better compare to Helix 5 ?

    • @jagfishing836
      @jagfishing836  4 года назад +1

      Ive never actually used the helix unit but from what i know its got some more advanced features. I dont want to comment too much on a unit i am not familiar with. What i can say is the ice 35 is absolutely amazing for the price. It has all the basic features you need for ice fishing. The screen is really big and bright and the battery life is insane (after 7 hours of use it burned about 15%) i would recommend the ice 35 over any base model from vexilar or marcum any day.
