A small info about poe, its a free competitive market, if every player did the same tactics they would make less profit for each person copying that method. Thats whats great about it, there will be many many players who would copy these methods and shocked when they fail to do the half of the profit the youtuber did.

But it's still a game where people want to have fun. Some methods like this people dont enjoy or get bored of quickly. Every stratergy yeilds different returns on a given day based on luck and market :)
Totally agree I find my own way to farm to make currency if you can follow the market a small amount you will be fine.
I also usually never have more than 20 div in my stash I'm always investing in the build I am playing.
@@CaliTEDD same, people always ask me how I make currency to complete my build before week 2 in a league with mageblood and I always answer, it is experience and knowledge combined with efficient farming. Also you need a character that can carry bosses and clear a map quickly. Thats the biggest part of farming currency quickly.

One thing that makes the cluster jewel crafting easier is to search for jewels between the minimum level you need (68 in your example) and the next level that new mods become available (I think 75 is the next set) so you aren't diluting the mod pool as much.

I sometimes put up a search for desirable jewelry without a free prefix/suffix. Sometimes a bench craft to make a tri-res item or add a bit of flat life can add 10-15 chaos.
Even more of you are doing betrayal and can unveil or exalt slam for free.
Depending on how aggressively you want to price.
Love this. It's not the way I like to play the game but I have enjoyed flipping some things like this in the past. One that was really profitable in the past was buying and splitting Danig Logbooks. I used to have a live search for them, buy for 30-60c, split for 20c and sell for 150c each.
Something I think that would be worth trying is crafting with chaos res essence (Envy?) on Fugitive Boots bases, hoping for MS. People always need chaos res and MS on boots. Crafting rares is a bit riskier though.

for 5 or 6 leagues now I make quite a bang with stygian vices crafted with dex essence, every league minions are popular.
I found the price for those trap clusters to be 35-50 when i crafted them myself a week ago
And here we are with the first useful currency video I have seen. Normally they are telling you how to make currency when you are already quite well off.
Every league has it's golden eggs, I used to make a lot of currency early on with prophecies. This league I made a lot with "A note in the wind" for Asenath's Chant, spending ~18c on the set and selling the circlets for 25-80c depending on the roll. Another method I used was buying any deli orbs I coild find for 3c each and rerolling them with harvest into skittering/div/fine deli orbs and selling in bulk for divs. "Desperate Crusade" card has been good too for many leagues... you got to be curious to search where the opportunities are :p

I like how you point out all those '10div/h' guides where they are running maps but don't count prep time. Prepping scarabs, sextants, and rolling/buying 100 8mod corrupt maps takes a lot of time - more for an average player who is looking at these kinds of guides. They only ever count the time to run the maps, it's just clickbait nonsense. This is actually useful and more true to it's divine/h claim while not being a 1+hr with filler video. Buy in bulk on tft and you cut down on a lot of time
@@Mezer_PoE buy in bulk and pay twice the market rate....like shaper sextants go for 80c when you can just buy guardian maps in bulk at those prices. Harvest sextant goes from 30c to 60c. At 60c they no longer provide profit. It's like the people pricing these have no idea what they're actually pricing, and people buying don't understand either lol
At the end of the day any video that tells you this strat will earn you x divines an hour is bullshit, because everyones build is different and will run different strats at different paces. What ultimately matters is the return on investment. The only exception to this is rolling sextants.
@hrodwulf172 if you're paying more in market price when buying in bulk, that's a you problem. I've never paid more in bulk, I get things cheaper cause I'm buying in quantity
@@Mezer_PoE Give me some examples of sextants that get cheaper in quantity. Oh, you can't, I just looked, as it turns out, bulk trades get more expensive because of the time saved trading. Who woulda known. Oh. Every single person who has played this game longer than a minute.
Again, bulk trades for harvest sextants 50-60c, 26c on trade site. Go look for yourself
@@hrodwulf172 I see them for 30c on TFT for blue and purple and 30c on trade site and they are listed for more than a day at that price so feels like a bit of price fixing :x idk same with yellow harvests, 185c on trade site and 180-190 on tft depending on how many are being sold.

I remember when we still had silver coins, this is much lower scale might I add. I would buy prophecy to upgrade an item say a quiver or the minion sword and would sell it for profit. It was much smaller scale but it did always make a profit especially the quiver if you had high roll. I think the name was something like Hyrri's bite. Something like that.

@@gdraggon9589 Prophecy is totally removed from the game. Some of the Fated items have been folded into the base uniques they were upgrades of, while others are no longer available except as legacy items on Standard.
We WFH people love playing hideout warrior. It's so much easier when you can just /dnd and hop off at a moment's notice
Flask market in shambles
One low budget farming you can do is to run all 4 shaper guardians yourself, do the invitations and farm shaper. The guardian maps are about 14c each and dropping fast by the day while an shaper uner elder fragment is around 100c. If you can farm Uber shaper, the profit margin is insane atm.
well you need a good build to be able to run the invitation. not that much low budget
@@Miawou543 I ran the invitations with poison srs scion with less than 10div budget and it should be even lower on Necro.

you could have just used one slot resonators and abberanth fossils and would have probably quadrupled your stonks :D
Thats how i made mageblood 2 week into league on srs. I kept Pog Ghastlys for myself and sold everything else. Poisonchance and flat chaos rolls every ~10 resonators and its always money. Lowroll goes for 50c already. if you hit life or minion ms, were talking multiple divines.

@Shadow have you tried harvest/expedition harvest especially is not that difficult. Nets good profit. Started with blight as well. But it takes so long to do them
I was making bank on the ultimatums. Buying the pieces for around 110-125 chaos total and some of the ultimatums even sold for 1 div each.

Quick examples:
- Kingmaker - buy the recipe and sell, 1 div for free
- Flammability on hit ring: buy 5c base and craft (
What is that addon or script or what, to lookup prices in the game itself?
Something I like to do is safe gambling.
Ex: jackpot is 1/9 and gives you x currency if you hit it (and maybe >0 currency if not) if the cost to do 9 gambles is less than x, then you have a profit margin.
Technically the cost would need to be around 40% less than x but that's why it is still a gamble

I don't usually comment but thank you for pointing out that thoose people/streamer/whatever saying the strat take X amount of hours, so you make Y per hours never include the preparation and the trading. Not everybody use TFT efficiently or got a trader or even worse a bot...... That being said, quck reminder that the important thing is still to have fun, so this is maybe not for eveybody.

requires a very deep understanding of the game economy, meta and economics in general, but most players watching these vids in the first place will have enough game knowledge to apply some of these techniques
I like all of the ideas. I did currency flipping in standard I would not recommend currency flipping. It is soul draining. However crafting / div cards are amazing.
Theres ko 3rd party website that could gather price of div cards vs price of final item ?
There used to be but it's always unreliable and you should always check manually.
So this is the reason why my flask rarely sell now.

I had a method with someone we did like up to 60 c to 1 ex we did if it was bad it was like 30-35c but the investment was like maybe max 10 c so we did that for days and she managed to make a lot of money with our method I helped but it’s time consuming you need to do some you have to trades a lot. But in the end she had like 69 ex or more or less depending but in almost noontime compared to the time she played. And for a new char 60 ex ramping up obv you can do it all day for days , you can buy some good gear with it and now it’s divines and not ex but I mean it was rly good and I remember she sold many for 1 ex and we also did it with 2 items and like it was rly good money. So if you know a little stuff it’s always a way to make money , like you can craft these clusters ppl do now all the time but for me personally I like more playing the game over doing methods like this. It’s very time consuming and you not rly play the game but for sure there are some nice methods. Well we did the taming ring some leagues ago and put catalysts on the good roll was easy 1 ex and we spend max 30c for rings and catalyst. And we did the bow where you combine the blades and get the bow, depending on rolls ofc but like 2 bows was 1 ex with 15 c invest , 4 link it and it sold very fast

Cards are good until you're half way though a full set and cards jump up in prices and the item drop in prices then you're stuck. There are also accounts that set fake prices.
That’s when you know the strategy is dead and you go next. Never put all your money into one flip.

Psychology. Thats why everything in stores not cost 10 bucks but 9.99, or 4.99, or 2.49, and so on. People are more likely to buy.
It's mostly to slightly undercut the people selling at the round numbers.

Had my hopes up for a second but it just flipping. Its a good strategy but not one I have patients for when I'm playing a game. This is a low effort for decent gains but good video.

@@bionis4980 you need to understand that most people just want to play the content as fast as possible. They have to go back to work family etc
A lot of people dont like having to do all those steps, its boring for them and it takes a bit of time.
They rather buy the finished product (as asmo explains in the video a bit aswell and from my own experience ).
Thats why there will always be a market for this. Beside that there is also a big group of players just not knowing about a lot of methods. The reason being they are knew or didnt think of it or searched for it. This is also a reason why those type of methods will stay forever.
When people find out about it it becomes less profitable so you need to find a different item. But even then you can be lucky if your fast enough wit reacting on live searches.
The funny thing is that this happends in real life aswell. Just a quick extra tip!

newbies, if you need some currency, dont do that. You can just flip currency with zero efforts, standing in your ho and watching tv series
Great video, but can you mark it private so I'm the only person who can view and use your strategy? I know you spent a lot of time on this video, but it'll be our little secret.
This is how I play a lot of games and make money, but the trade system in this game makes it really tough to enjoy this experience. Even if they didn't put in a trade market and just made player to player trading more improved it would help a lot. I just imagine the devs laughing every time we ask them to make improvements (for the last 10 years)
The pain in trading is why the market is so inefficient and provides so many opportunities to those willing to put the work in ;)
Not only that but if you didn't buy stash tabs and shit this strategy is useless

Another tips , if you want to sell something , try also sent message on global channel or trade channel , often I can clear my unwanted essence and heist contract this way , if not ask in channel anyone have spare heist contract , some players really are generous to help you through early stage

First 3 days were very fun and when you try to minmax the efficiency it's pretty fun as well. It's definitely not for everyone and the last day I just wanted to get over with it ;) The fun part is finding new strategies and seeing them work the first few times.

Chaos and Divines are the main trading currencies of the game used for buying items from other players. You don't really need that much, but if you want to build a specific, powerful character - the more currency you have - the stronger you can make it.

Id scrolls, I got an 8%life speed 8%, atk spd , 4% atk spd jewel day one, followed up with a random divine from a t10 map , got me off my welfare 4links and got me some 860 evasion 30ms boots with 16 spell sulress for 20c (200es with that one tree perk) slammed ~10 envy essence on my rings got 16% allres a t2 res and one even rolled t1 evasion , season was explosive for crafting thanks to bench crafting clusters for passive curency. Just keep chugging, you'll get there n it's not about the destination, it's about the journey

GGG Should Implement a Bank into POE, so by the start of a league, i can borrow 1000 divines.
And everyone else borrows 1000 divines and the market becomes inflated. An item like goldrim starts costing 1000 divines, so we are back at square one
There are some illegal bankers, who sell divines and even mirrors Day 1. But GGG Police sometimes perma bans them. This mafia call themselves RTM or something, im not quite familiar.
@@MrSeancris this would be easy to get around. If force players to deposit currency into the bank instead of their stash tab until the debt is paid of you can take the currency out of circulation.
@@southgained Fiat money in poe :D then if you don't pay back the divines at the end of the league, ggg gives your account a minus multiplier on loot xD until you have paid back everything. But this is only fantasy.

Basically just flip and don't play the game but the website instead, no hate because we need people like that to have a safe trading league
I enjoy this way more than just running maps. I do like bossing too, but you basically need money to invest in build. Which is not a problem, because im flipping/crafting/reselling.
There are people who dig delve to 10k, so, yeah, we are strange yet happy :D
