Just want to say as someone who had mained path for around 3,000 hours quick grapple hops are very useful. Always but ESPECIALLY if you have a shotgun. Enemies don't expect you to randomly do some huge jumps straight into the air mid fight. Shotguns are so great with this because they are easy to hit mid air for a ton of damage.
@Perzfirst of all it wasn't a flex. And second of all I'm around the top .8% of players level wise. I understand there are a lot of people with more but it's still a lot. The vast majority of people don't have that much time to game or just don't devote all thier time to one game. So yeah 1000 hours a year is a lot considering most people have things to do other than play videogames. I was just saying that I've been playing gor a long time(longer than most people) and I have a good idea of what in talking about.
1000 hours per year would be equivalent to a part time job. This is a lot of time to just play video games. No shade either way but to be little that amount of time isn't fair

If respawn adds on to his passive that allows you to utilize pathfinders eye as 10x-12x scope(or better yet, 1x-12x so he doesnt have to utilize a scope.) when he holsters his weapon or uses a sniper, this would be bad ass. Maybe a good counter to this is having the scanned notifications when pathfinder has his eyes on you.
If he has a scope (4X+ assault 3X+ smg, 4+ sniper)it doesn’t appear but without one you just see in red (Eyes on you) with a pathfinder icon next to it or something like that
As a apex legends player who knows how to play pathfinder correctly,I can say This guide is truly amazing It is very helpful towards newer players since it teaches the important stuff in the easy way unlike me who had to learn it the hard way, Also It teached me some stuff I hadn’t seen before, Again,it is a very amazing guide and congratulations on creating such a masterpiece

Pathy is elite. A lot of people don’t see him as an A+ or S tier legend, but if you use his kit to the max capability, he’s definitely one of the best. I also think there’s no legend that has a higher skill ceiling than pathfinder. What you call the rodeo, I call the around the world, but being able to pull that off in a fight is extremely satisfying
one thing i’ve noticed playing him is if you jump off a building or something high up and grapple back up as your falling you can get some insane distances. obviously this should be combined with looking away and towards the origin or grapple for even greater distance. You can go from streamer building all the way to market using this on worlds edge
on the vertical grapple i noticed that not jumping is the same as jumping if not better. it’s the same when you are trying to get speed and say there is a pole in front of you. jumping will get you higher but slow you doen
I’ve watched other pathfinder videos and they don’t go into the same amount of detail as you so when I try to do this stuff in game even in the practice range I really struggle. Pathfinder is one of those legends his grapple is so so good but is quite difficult to get right
One thing that i learned from every player: don't get panicked and just go with the flow. I think i also realized I get really distracted by myself so o never get good shots
I’ve been a die hard pathy main for a long time, I just wish he was a little more useful. When you’re traveling on his zip line you can get FRIED, if it had a longer cool down, went 50 meters farther, and you could heal, it would be perfect in my opinion. When legends like valk are in the game it makes it hard to use him. Plus, valk can shoot missles, Gibby has an un breakable dome, and they have a shorter cool down than pathfinders Batman hook. But also, I think doing this to path finder might make him too strong
I was thinking about maining Pathy but I feel like I'm so trash with him... For a few seasons now i've been using Crypto so im not used to movement legends. I like recon/scanning characters in pretty much all games... Pathfinder is a hilarious legend and I really like his personality and tactical so idk if i should give him a try or to stick swith Crypto
I was actually a bloodhound main but I only used bloodhound because I just didn't know how to use Pathfinder despite him being my favorite legend, after I reached 100 kills with bloodhound I switched to path, currently have 270 kills rn with him,and I'm honestly getting better Something I used to practice with him was the control game mode now that it's here tomorrow you should really take advantage of it and try practicing with path more, trust me it actually does help with overall aim, handling multiple enemies at once,and abilities,works on any legend,I got really good because of it,was just practicing certain movements and tips.I'm just a casual player so I'm not usually aggressive or sweaty but if you like playing aggressively then try the game mode with pathy and play some aggressive games or whatever fits your play style, practice in the range with friends is also good as well
Honestly you can use both, they're both the same in a sense but crypto offers more to the table whereas Pathfinder is usually used to push aggressively or to get the high ground etc. But honestly those two require you to think more,so they've got that in common aside them being recon Legends of course Yeah but as someone who occasionally uses both crypto and path,I would recommend to just use both, but alternate between the two if you want of course,or you can just pause crypto for a bit and start up pathy instead

Im pretty new to the game i use to main lifeline but sick of her being able to do nothing for herself. So was gonna say is it worth Manning pathy cause I've heard people he sucks in ranked cause of his hit box.
i love pathy so much but i find myself to get beamed more often playing as him due to his hit box 📦 bro is a fridge indoors , so i stick to horizon for slick movements
*GRAPPLE JUMP* : this similar to *SUPER JUMP* with zipline but only Pathfinder can do it. Method: You need to look “below + grapple & jump as how you do super jump” pretty easy right.
It sounds pathfinder is a really good legend for a call of duty player. Someone who doesn't there best work by themselves and a team might slow them down. His grapple sounds a bit broken. He's just not a viable member of a team which is kinda weird since he's in apex legends.
Also he let you get out of the open faster with that grapple because let’s say someone shooting you and you in the open all you have to do is use that grapple and get out of there a quick tip👍🏽😂
In my opinion, pathfinder is B tier. His grapple is incredible, however his ultimate is very mediocre and his non-existent passive knocks him down quite a bit

I’m a little late but with pathfinders grapple you could also just rehit the tactical button to release the grapple
