    I absolutely hate how this joker was forgotten. As a kid I grew up with the batman animated series joker Mark Hamill's iconic laugh will forever be the number one best joker but this literation of The Joker is also there in my list he is the perfect blend of psycho evil and humor. His design was absolutely perfect and his voice just sent shivers down my spine every time he would speak. The monkey style Kung Fu he uses to fight Batman constantly had my eyes glue to the screen. I just hope that this design is at least referenced or brought back in the future!
    Edit: Whoa over 1000 likes?! I did not expect that thank you all so much for the love!

      Ikr? Mark Hamill IS the Joker but Kevin Michael Richardson’s no slouch. You can tell he just pours himself into the character with every single line and every maniacal laugh. Plus I just love how this design plays into the insanity aspect. Before this, Joker usually presented himself as almost dapper yet still mad. This one looks so monstrous in comparison and I can’t get enough of this design. Plus on the subject of those kung Fu moves, Joker would usually rely on his tools and weapons in a fight. Here? He’s got the skills AND the gadgets! I do wish they kept the straight jacket look from the first episode. Would’ve made this Joker stand out even more.

    One of the reasons I love this Batman series is because they actually make the Villains who usually rely on Henchmen actually fight Batman hand-to-hand, and not to mention how they LEGITIMATELY can kick ass, Hell even PENGUIN can go toe-to-toe with Batman and he even once had the upper hand against him before.

    The crazy thing is even though this isn't as disturbing as the killing joke, unlike the killing joke, Joker actually suceeds in his goal in this version. Even though in the killing joke he puts Comishinor Gordon through hell, he is still a normal man at the end of the graphic novel. Here after this bad experience Ethan get the Joker Pudddy on him, gets suspended, and becomes clayface. Even though Ethan got better later on, Ethans time as Clayface is an example of The Joker winning.

    The design, the voice, the Kung Fu.
    The bizarre humor, the truly random crimes...
    The brief moments of reflection, the purely confrontational relationship with Batman, that neverless came off as dark and obsessive...

    He may not be Mark Hamill's Joker
    But damn I enjoy watching and listening to him and his madness
    I wish he'd make a comeback
    Even if it's in a comic
    I can tell Kevin Michael Richardson had alot of fun voicing this joker

    Ok. I'm going to say it. You may agree or disagree with me, I don't give a steaming pile of Joker Fish. Screw current Joker;
    Screw portraying Joker as 10 steps ahead of everyone.
    Screw making it seem like anyone like Croc or Freeze would just go along with Joker.
    Screw having Joker do things to seem crazy like cutting his own face off and using it as a mask.
    Screw trying to add mystery to Joker and somehow making three of him exist at the same time!
    THIS Joker, THIS is actually intimidating!
