If this video won't get taken down for copyright issues for at least two weeks I'll be sooooo happy 🤗
This one is more fast paced, mostly because I tend to curse and I don't want any Karens to report me to Susan because their 5 year old decided to watch a lego video on youtube XD And a lot of text, so copyright machines will have harder time analysing this nonsense xd
With that said, I hope you'll like it - I'm glad you liked my previous projects and so I took your feedback and want to do more of what you ask for... even if it's just a Lego Joker and his adventures of doing absolutely nothing for 11 minutes XD
But hey, I'm not complaining. As I've said, Lego Joker is a cutie pie (but so is every character in a lego form really), it's just that I love Joker the most because, well, my most favourite dc villain, hello 😂
And it also gave me a chance to bring my nostalgia into a spotlight. That and Lego DC Super Villains aka the MOTHERFUCKING BEST LEGO VIDEOGAME there is I'll fight you on that.

I just love the friendship that the joker and harley quinn have in these, especially the movie, i see very few female and male friendships on screen and to have theirs be one of the best to come to mind really makes me happy. But also sad because in other timelines, their relationship is super toxic with joker abusing harley or harley wanting to kill joker.

What would I do without you? Go back to ripping off mob dealers? No, no, NO! No. You... you... complete me."

That clip of Batman acting like Joker in LEGO Batman 3, trying to piss off Atrocitus is funny and ironic since Troy Baker voices Batman and the Joker and many other Batman related characters perfectly. Also, Batman: The Telltale Series: The Enemy Within is the perfect way to show Batman/Bruce Wayne’s relationship with Joker/John Doe.
I know, Baker has THE fucking talent dude. Telltale took some liberties, but it's still a nice game :D I think the best potrayal of their relationship is in Arkham Origins

But with Telltale, all and I mean ALL of your choices that are somewhat imprinted and onto John are causing him to be who ends up being, especially by the climax of episode 4, if you choose to believe him for the self defense, he’s and ally to Batman, but if you lash out for his behavior, he’s an enemy to Bruce Wayne. I like how dynamic it works.
Both the Vigilante and Villain episodes at the end ask you if you where really were "friends" with him. I answered yes on both. The villain ending plays the result/credit music from season 1 to remind it was your fault.

Lego DC Supervillains is genuinely one of the funniest games I've played in a while, and this is coming from a 20 something adult. Just the fact that Mark Hamill himself reprises the Joker again (after he retired from the character for like the tenth time after Killing Joke) makes that game top tier. Everyone praises Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker in the Dark Knight, but true fans know that Hamill is the OTJ (One True Joker) Also the game somehow manages to do the characters better in game than DC has done with its characters in the last decade or so. I think it all started to go down hill when Joker cut off his own face.
I completely agree with everything you've just said, except maybe for the Joker cutting his face part :D While I personally didn't like that either, we must not forget that the person who popularized it the most was Scott Snyder, who came like Jesus from the skies to make Batman comics good again for a little while. But I agree, everything after Snyder is trash, looking at you, King.

As much as I love the comics and grew up reading DC comics, I think I'll always prefer the stuff more aimed at a younger audience just because it doesn't feel the need to go ultra dark and serious. It's like you pointed out in the video, Joker and Harley's relationship in Lego DC Supervillains is genuinely adorable and they make a really cute couple. While I respect the more brutal truth of their abusive co-dependant relationship in the comics, and I think some writers have handled the topic well, there's just something more fun about seeing the two get along and be flirty.

Ah, I see :D That's definitely true as well. While I don't mind the dark and more realistic turn (I have different issues with modern comics), I can see your point - I myself collect the golden age comics just because I enjoy their innocence and cheesiness. And I agree that not everybody can handle dark subjects well, resulting in kitchy comics.

Nah, that scene is kinky only if you let it be. THE YOU WON'T FIGHT ANY OF THIS SCENE ON THE OTHER HAND
Joker is very weird, in some iterations he’s your classic flamboyant trickster that you see in stuff like the lego media. But in other iterations he’s a cold blooded serial murderer that stops at nothing to get Batman to break his morals, a much more satisfying way of winning to him than just killing him. I feel like Batman does have campy stories and dark and gritty ones but I think the best ones have to be things like the animated series where it’s a balance of the dark and gritty themes from Batman that also embraces how absurd a man in a bat costume kicking criminals to the curb can be. The three jokers theory is so interesting to me, it shows how different joker can be written, yet how there is no real way/rules to write joker. With Batman, you have general rules like Batman doesn’t kill, Batman is serious but he’s still nice, and Batman likes to work with people. But with joker it’s so much different, you could have him brutally murder people and make the heroes question their morals but you could also have him just be a flamboyant prankster with crazy ideas just to annoy/get in the way of Batman. What I’m trying to say is that I find it weird how there different vastly ways to write joker that are really entertaining, but since they are so different, taking the aspects that make them most appealing would be incredibly difficult to blend together for a sort of “definitive” joker. I guess I just started thinking about how I would write the joker and how hard that is.
As Moore himself stated in one of his comics - Joker has a new personality everyday. Thus, everything goes for him, nothing can be counted as an "out of character" moment for him, which is fascinating :D And so I feel that DC cheated with the "three Jokers" theory. Idk, I feel like that's stripping Joker of his identity, saying that all the time there have been "more" Jokers
