Composed by Felix Mendelssohn(1809-1847) in July of 1838 at the age of 29. This is the first movement, performed by students at Perlman Music Program on July 9, 2022. Jacques Forestier and Nayoun (Blaire) Kim (violins); Elias Vieira (viola) and Noam Ginsparg (cello).
