Looking for a decent Grummund or Dehaviland (otter/beaver) vintage bird that works in VR. Anything been updated yet? Great channel. New sub!

The thing that really bothers me about this plane (and full disclosure - I bought it at full price - $30!) is that it's clearly a model that was made for the days when they had to mask a low polygon count by smoothing edges. They have done this at the rear fuselafge where the top meets the sides, so it looks rounded. The problem is, in reality the Widgeon has a sharp corner there, so it just looks weird, and you can't fix it with a cunning paint job - it will always catch the light and reflect as if it's rounded, because it's a choice made when designing the 3D model. Such a shame, because in many ways this is a nice aeroplane. Flysimware clearly tried to make a few extra bucks by skimming on revamping the 3D model, and it shows. They should be embarrassed.
