Thanks for watching, everyone! Be sure to drop a like if you enjoyed the video, and let me know what your memories are with EWJ!
I never fucking liked that series. It was too hard, the minigames sucked, and it was just too much for me. That being said, this video was fucking badass and taught me a lot about the series I never bothered to look up. These 30 YEARS LATER videos are really good dude. Fuck, this is a lot better than I thought it was gonna turn out. Look forward to seeing much more of these bro.
Your opinion of EWJ is wrong, but your opinion of this video is correct, so I'll let this one slide
I have EWJ1 for the SNES and Mega Drive. EWJ2 for the Sega Saturn. And EWJ3D for the N64. Absolutely love the character and his world, all are very 90's... and that is a good thing.
Very true, Jim is one of those characters that's emblematic of the wacky 90's aesthetic
Yo bro I've heard you like Jim so we put Jim into Jim's video so you can watch Earthworm Jim with Jim voiceover
Just giving the people what they want.
Good to see Japanese ads, always one of my favorite parts of your videos. But who hates on Soul Train. Speaking of which, how come we never got a Soul Train video game… maybe with a rhythm section where you dance the Soul Train Line?
Soul Train was the first show to come on a 11am on Saturday, at least on my local Fox affiliate, so it signaled the end of cartoons, which it turn made me hate it lol
Lovely tribute Jim.
Your knocking it out of the park with the nostalgia lately.
Rave on!
❤
Much appreciated
Such a beautiful game!
(I remember reading this sega book that I thought was gonna have sonic but when I was introduced to earthworm Jim I was BLOWN AWAY!)
The character designs they looked interesting to me as a kid!
Now I finally have gotten this and even the Japanese version of the second game on the Saturn made me happy!
(Game is gorgeous!)
I love EWJ2 and the soundtrack is EPIC on the Saturn
Gorgeous game, tough as nails. Never did beat it. Somehow i beat Oddworld though. . . and Tomb Raider 1 and 2 without guides. I guess that's the difference between 11 year old me and 16 year old me lol.
Jeez I loathed this game haha. I don’t think I ever past the 2nd level! I think I’ll need to revisit it and see how I fair with a more mature brain, albeit slower reflexes! Man, it looked friggin great though, no matter how many times I failed I always went back to it because it just looked so cool!
True, it can be an especially brutal game, but you couldn't argue with the visuals at the time, or the overall charm and quirky humor it brought to the table.
"AAAAOOWWW!"
I remember checking out EWJ out on SNES! great animation, great music (whoever it actually was composing...) and the off-the-wall humormade it unlike anything I'd seen at the time!
It was certainly unique, once you saw it you couldn't forget it
The water bubble level still plagued my nightmares!
That is one of the more aneurism inducing sections lol
I love Earthworm Jim. I still prefer EWJ2 over the original cuz I'm weird like that... Also, the color and sound are soooo much better on the SNES than the Genesis for both of the two original releases, and the controls are a lot smoother on the SNES, too. Don't get me wrong, though, the games are still fantastic on both 16-bit platforms, I just think the SNES versions have the technical edge at the end of the day.
But yeah, Tommy Tallarico can take a flying leap. Amico was a scam from day one.
The SNES version definitely has the brighter color pallet and the sound is excellent, though the image is a bit cropped. For the best soundtrack though, the Sega CD version is the way to go, or the PS1 and Saturn versions of EWJ2
I miss this game, I miss the cows 😆😆😆
Perfect time to go back and replay it!
Yeah EWJ. I really enjoyed the first game. The 2nd game was ok. What's interesting is that when I went back to playing the first 2 games recently, the first one still holds up very well, however when I tried to play EWJ 2, my god, that thing aged horribly and I didn't bother playing past the 2nd level. I remember the EWJ cartoon and enjoyed watching that during its short life.
I played this game had a few of the toys and watched the cartoon lol was goofy as fuck and I loved it
It definitely had that unique 90's aesthetic, it was goofy, gross, and hilarious
All I know is I played it back in the day. Couldn’t tell you any details. Got it now for the Super Famicom. Spendy on that platform. Wait…if you are named after EW Jim. Then who am I named after?!?!?! Peace!-)
30 years later, the creator's mind turned to mush from NFT and Qanon grfiting and is now making cringe Mickey Mouse comics and a black aboorted fetus cartoon for a Christian streaming service.
P.S. Special Edition's sound fx suck
I never actually played the Genesis version of this - I rented the SNES version a couple times and then eventually bought the Special Edition release on PC. Absolutely awesome game. I revisited it back in... probably 2016, and it's just as fun today as it was back then. It's gonna be a hefty bill, but I do want to get the Sega CD version at some point.
Just do not play the GBA port of Earthworm Jim. That version sucks.
Video game for the past 40 plus years cartoons and have series on DVD now and and the graphic novels DoNg T the creators
I've been watching cartoons from the 70s to to to to like 2000
Hey Jim! How are you doing today, sir???!!
Just fine, thanks
@MadPanicGaming Guess what Jim???!!! I enjoyed my 21st birthday yesterday!!!! I'm grateful for everything!!!!

the 90s!
Is this game actually 30?!?!?
It is indeed
Time. . . it's a hell of a drug.
