The reason Melissa and Vicki kept fighting is because they lack nice points. Another deceased sim on the Specter lot, Luc Smith, is the same. Last year, I resurrected him and Melissa... they got into a full dust cloud fight 😂 They are very mean. And yeah, due to their lack of personality points, the game treats them as if they are extremely sloppy, shy, lazy, serious, and as you've witnessed, grouchy. Also, be aware, that when Vicki or Melissa shower, or sponge bath, the game only censors the bottom half since it thinks they're male. As a result... you see Barbie melons. It caught me by surprise honestly 😂
The lack of eyebrows is due to them having a corrupted face. If you look up sims that have corrupted faces (Creon and Willow Nigmos, Luc Smith, Patrick Jones, Melissa Sims, etc.), you'll notice that they always have the second face template (the base template), brown eyes, and no eyebrows. It took me a while to notice. How they wound up in that state, I don't know.
If you plan on playing the lot long term, change their aspiration from Power. I always got error messages, because the game couldn't calculate the attraction score for it.
As for Knut... I always received error messages, too. You could try adding him with SimPE, if you're comfortable with that. Load the neighbourhood (Tools->Neighbourhood Browser), then go into Family Instance on the left, find 'Specter,' and try adding him that way, if you can. Or, if you don't want to use SimPE, you could try turning debug mode off then summoning him (I haven't tried that, so it may not even make a difference). The Sim Blender has a summon option, but again, I think the game just throws a fit when trying to load him in.
I have yet to figure out adding him myself, but I have seen videos and screenshots online, so it's possible.

Knut is resurrectable and can be made to function normally via the InSiMenator once you set his life stage by SimPE, personality, aspirations, etc. are set. Sorry my bad english.
The face that Melissa got after her second appearance change is the face she was intended to have, since that's the face from the hidden pictures from her file. I presume she was also intended to be related to Vicki, so their faces look similar. Melissa had a no-eyebrowed second face template simply because of a lack of her face data. The eye glitch is the result of the same lack of data as well.
i'm extremely late, but, knut can't be resurrected unless you change his age in simpe. if you change his age and resurrect him, depended on what age did you set him as, he will act normal. i set him as an adult and he was acting okay ahah
i have the clean template and i love resurrecting olives garden and giving them a proper life without corrupting my game
I noticed some other oddities with the specter lot sims but found not much info because it likely isn't as relevant, when I first started playing the sims 2, I only had the double deluxe, which included nightlife, open for business and university. I didn't use any cc or mods but the ghosts always appeared the same but different way. They would appear bald as ghosts, and with a slight different outfit than the original thumbnail, but everytime i reset the game it was the same. When I installed seasons however they actually completely randomized and had updated thumbnails. I notice also as ghosts they continuously steal faces from newly created sims. Also Vicki apparently has a customized face, as a corruption side effect even though she was likely a random townie.
Oh I love your series! I have been interested in game corruption since I heard of it, but I have never had the guts to experiment with my own game. And I like the editing and the fact that videos are short but informative.
P.s. Also I love the skins and the eyes you are using. Are they from modthesims?
Neither of them are trans from an objective point of view. You can have whatever headcanon you want, but it was obviously not the intention of the developers. They are just broken and weren't meant to be played with.
right. theyre not trans. devs didn't have the intention of making them resurrect-able or playable.
Neat thing about the sims is the story is up to the player :) I agree it wasn't intentional though.
I know its not intentional at all for us to play with them, its just something nice that in my personal opinion i do to make things more fun! (Please forgive me if i didnt understand your comment if it isnt a little hostile)

I got my sims 2 game when it was available for free for a limited time from EA but if you drop by my discord with the link on my channel or in the video description, I’m sure someone there can help you by giving you a link to a download of the game. Hope that helps. 💛

Funny to see people thinking they are trans. Come on, they are just broken. If creators of the sims wanted to make them trans, then average player would be able to make a trans sim.
It’s possible in the sims 4. Back in the sims 2 time it was more socially unacceptable and illegal in most places to express yourself in those ways

Maybe that's how they want to be referred, with a he/ him pronoun . For me they are like NB Sims , trans boys maybe ? Idk I like to think about that. I'd really like to play with them they look great 💖
I try to refer to them as ‘they’ and ‘them’ since I’m not sure what the “correct” term for them would be. Vicki and Melissa being trans would make for an interesting story 🤔 Note: Resurrecting them causes damage/corruption to your game so please keep that in mind.

@ferret There's a difference between a headcanon and a theory. When people make theories about existing Sims, they are using facts to theorize about the sim from the game',s perspective. Them being trans would not be a possible theory because there is no factual evidence to support it so it's not a theory, it's a headcanon and of course there's no thing wrong with that.

I’ve talked about him in another video, I haven’t been able to get him into my game since I don’t use SimPE
I was able to bring Lyla, Melissa, Vicki, and Knut back to life. Of all of them, Knut is the most troublesome.
I did it with the InSiMenator and it gave me good results, plus I was able to fix Lyla and Melissa's face without problems. I did several tests configuring the personality, changing his aspirations and other characteristics and they gave me good results, without any error messages from the game.
I think that with the InSiMenator the missing data of the Sims that are corrupted is completed. Additionally it is possible to set Vicki and Melissa their corresponding gender and age and configure the rest with the InSiMenator.
The InSiMenator does not add DNA information, it may be randomly created by the game. I think I'll try using those Sims for a while to get final results.
Although Lyla may have children if the face is corrected, the children he conceived is also corrupted, it is not recommended that Lyla has children. If it contracented by Melissa and Vicki that apparently if they can have normal children, by changing sex by SimPE, they become pregnant. Similarly, doing all this with the InSiMenator is a form of corrupting the game, if they are going to do it, do it at your own risk.

blank personality points in dead sims is a sign of corrupted character data, although I'm not sure if it actively corrupts your game.
also the people getting pissy about people saying "I like to think they're trans" bc "GRR ITS NOT THE DEVS INTENTION ITS JUST CORRUPTION" is 🤨 I think everyone knows that and it sounds like you're just pissy about the idea of trans people

The game used He/Him pronouns for Melissa!!! Also what was that weird pop up??
She is considered a male by the game, despite looking like a teenage girl. It's likely because she has damaged data.
