Been worried about you. Glad to see you are back at it
Good to see you mate!
Great to see you again Nathan!
Great to see a vid, it’s been a while. Starting to get concerned about you. Hi to wifetastic. ❤️UK
Yaaaaaaii!! It's soooo good to see you again there, Mr K🙏
Been really worried about you 🌹💚
Hey Nath, good to see you back at it mate. I once did a similar job on a Mini (a real Mini that is), ditching the Auto and fitting a manual engine/box unit. Quite a few things can "blindside" you on these swaps. Great job.
Hi Nathan and wifetastic hope you are all safe and well and nice to see you back on your channel 😀🏴
I am glad to see your still with us brother, 🙏, just keep telling yourself that you matter!! I aways look forward to you videos!!
It's going to be such a fun car now!
Good to see you again Nathan! ;-)
Great to see you back - I was starting to get concerned. As a fellow sufferer I understand how rough it can get.
Glad to see you using all your skills to make that swap , goes to show , man made it , man can fix it / modify it
Glad to see you again mate!
Glad to see you back at it 👍👍
I’m happy to see you back. I hope you and wifetastic are doing well. You look great. 💪🏻
Good idea putting the small cable back in at the pivot to avoid other unknown issues 👌
I’m so happy to see your face again! I hope that you are doing well/better.
good to see your back bloke
I must say; I'm a big fan of any car with 3 pedals.
Hi Nathan, haven't even watched the video yet just wanted to say welcome back, hope you're ok & keep looking after yourself.... now let's get started!
Well what do ya know. I was digging around and I found myself a 1988 XR4TI. I'd call it a Garage find. Its been hiding in the corner of a garage coverd up for 17 years and has only 12,000 kilometers on the clock. Took it out for a drive and its almost perfect and it shows. Its a Red one too. Thank Goodness.
WOW! Excellent. Sounds like you've found a real time capsule. Thank you for supporting the channel.
Great to see your back and progress on the the XR.
Those clutch ratchets are a pain, especially when the shatter on your way home from work.....
I think i can say that we all are happy to have a video from you Nathan great day to see a video and hope your doing ok thanks for the awesome content and all the hard work you do to get it put together !!
Cheers from Canada EH!
I like your videos man, u do proper stuff 👍🏻. Thanks for keeping us entertained
Glad to see a Video from you; I too was getting concerned.
Good to see you again
Those clutch pedal self adjusters were always rubbish, so good work on making it function
Great to see you. We have all missed the master. By the way love my t-shirt. Very quality t-shirt.
Good to see new video from you
Great to see you back Nathan .great update on the merkur .hope your well
Great job Nate! Been wondering where you were. I'm not on Facebook anymore.
You had me worried, welcome back
Nice to see another video. I remember my dad's Ford Sierra back in Manchester had a dodgy self adjusting clutch.
The mate is alive! Welcome back, buddy!!
Great to see you back, I have been wondering how you are going.
Glad to see you again! Welcome back
Great to see you back and looking well!
Great to see the pedals from my garage on RUclips! :-)
Loved the video, gave me some inspiration to work on my own manual swap again. Its a 91 VW Golf and i have a problem with the clutch not releasing. I may have found a soultion (throwout bearing) thanks to the motivation this video gave me. Thank you and take care.
Glad to see you, your looking good.glad to see you working on a project.👍👍😎😎
Great job well done . Pleased to see you back again
hey, i'm glad to see you back! this is the FIRST video i clicked on today..... thumbsup!
Excellent little video. Documents all the little things that make the T5 swap a bit intimidating. Gotta ask where you got the driveshaft adapter. I'm looking forward to seeing what's next on the channel.
Welcome back!
Nathan, that universal floor mat is a death trap. Please, throw that in the bin.
welcome back. I love those cars.
G'day Nathan,
Kevin here from Australia.
Great video looks like its going to be a good daily now (fingers crossed).
But your looking exceptionally well man which is great.
See you next video.
✌ peace
Glad your back!!
I see a Nathan video, I click. Yay!
Hurray your back !!! missed you :)
i'm running a mustang cable as well on my TR3650 and they make a firewall adjuster that mounts between the cable and firewall so you can get additional length of the sleeve and more refined adjustment of the cable. get the kind that has detents in the adjuster (i think BBK has the detents).
Living here in Vietnam affords me to enjoy great car builder such as you...just watched some great content on a VW named Senna. Made me wonder about The Mutt? Hope you and your Mutt start hangin out again
Thanks for the video
Come back soon Nath 🇬🇧
if i remember on the fox cars you lift up the clutch pedal before you step on it for self adjust
Comment 31 saying good to see you!
she runs clean too!
It should be way more fun now.
Happy Days!!
Glad it passed the dreaded California smog
You didn't forget to put in the spigot bearing in the crankshaft did you?
The transmission will last about a day without it.
saw a merkur and had to click
I might have a T5 shifter that would work better for you... let me know if you’ve worked this out yet or not. It would move the shifter back a bit since I think the shaft is shaped differently.
I’m waiting to see again your VW project... This is why I’m following you... This is a real project...
Those Ford "self-adjusting" clutch ratchets were just complete pants. I don't think they ever worked as designed...
I thought the US Merkur Sierras got the A4LD automatic like the European cars did, apart from the 2.3 V6 which still had the older trans...
Similar plan to my f100/vic manual swap
Best thing you could have done, automatics are for idiots who cant drive, you also just made the best anti theft upgrade too because so few in the US can drive a proper manual car.
Hoonigan is moving and they are selling the red XR4Ti !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Call them!
Where did you see that? On the site it says clothing but nothing about cars.
@@NathansGarage On their last video minute 10:26 can't put links it auto deletes the comment
@@nachiswichis Got it. Thank you. I messaged them.
ATF in a manual transmission? Is that correct?
Did you pull up on the pedal so the quadrant can pull out all the slack?
It may be over adjusted. When II do that, as I have with all my other clutch pedals, it seems to introduce slack. If I put my hand behind and push the quadrant runs to take up the slack it holds until I catch the pedal with my toe and it "resets"...with slack. It's a work around that's...working right now :)
My seat light staying on after I cut off the car
