I went through 4 galaxy 5 pro watches. All had the same issue. It overheats in LTE only mode, and while it overheats, you cant use the watch until it cools down. And the biggest issue is that i asked Samsung about this issue, but they didn't want to find out why the 4 devices had the same issue. I'm considering switching to Apple products. Stay away from the Galaxy watch 5 pro.
Love my 5 pro, great battery life, 2 days with regular use is perfectly acceptable for me. Especially with the ability to turn certain things off to extend that. Over 21 days on a full charge in "watch only" mode. Maps integration has been wonderful while driving, and I enjoy the route tracking that is available while going on jogs. Very good health information that is pretty accurate have left me with 0 buyers remorse. Haven't seen any of the overheating issues others have had though. Just once in a while I can feel a little warmth from the health sensor but it's not uncomfortable, just noticable.

Hello guys, I own a Samsung Watch 4 Classic 46mm. When I turn on the always-on display feature, I see a shadow of the screen face printed on the screen when I scroll between applications. What is the solution to this problem? Please help.
Everything is a plus with this watch. Benefits are the sapphire crystal ,the titanium case, the 80hr power reserve. And the large dial is better for most people in that its easily readable. I agree the having no ratchet bezel is bummer but you take everything else added to it and its good enough for most. Im very pleased with the quality build of this smart watch.
i use my watch 5 pro for almost everything, i charge my phone more than i charge my watch, i have every single thing on everyday, the watch will last 2 days or 1d 20 hrs or so, but what ever it said it will last it will last. Most amazing thing is, when taking clothes out of the machine i found my watch in the machine, i press the water lock and the watch is still working perfectly. I have so much more confidence in it now.
Can someone help me out with the difference getting the just the watch itself and the LTE version? I wanna be able to voice respond to texts when needed but not sure if i were able or not. I'm in the market for a new one and need help

Bought it a year and a half ago, was great until the power button just stopped working. I'm up 5 times trying to get help fixing it and my experience is Samsung doesn't care about customer service. No places near me will try to fix it no actual stores to go in and actually talk to someone also anyone I dealt with has been useless had a guy give me a store near me saying they fix their stuff and when I called them they said they don't work with Samsung anymore. It is terrible I am really thinking about switching to Apple, I have 4 stores within 40 min drive atleast
something is wrong with this watch... i have had it for over 6 months it worked great showing the kms and duration of my walk. Now it doesn't keep track of the kms. It only shows duration, on my work out very frustrated. The only time it will show the kms is if you press finish then the kms show up but during my walk forget it doesn't show. it only shows the time duration you have done. i would like to say... this watch is garbage for the high price. very upset
I have this watch for couple of months and it's fine - not the fastest (I'd prefer Qualcomm chip) and have issues like killing sport tracking app in the middle of a bicycle ride. Mess with Bixby is also annoying - I've put a google assistant and switched to my native language and now I cannot start training sessions with voice assistant. But with Bixby it was impossible for it to understand contact names as they are in my native language. So Bixby is again (as in phones) useless for me. Battery is ok - with AOD I have 2-2,5 days. Charging is annoying as it does not support QI - only proprietary charger (or Samsung phone with reverse charging) which is a huge disappointment. Charging is also slow - can take more than 2 hours to fully charge such small battery. As a sports tracker - it's a bit weird as some very detailed activities like Lat pull-downs, front raises, deadlifts are supported and I'm missing things like HIIT, tabata, power-pumps etc. You can create your own but more should be supported out of the box. Some activities are really weirdly designed - like pushups - you'd think it would count them right? Wrong - you have only time and burned calories. Some activities are hard to start as you must have your hands in a very specific position - like jump rope - I'd prefer a button as an option. Watch overheats when there is poor cellular network connection. I'm also missing ability to control my watch with buttons only (two more buttons on other side would not hurt) - now you won't do anything if it's wet. Overall I'm not impressed but there is just nothing better to buy in Android world.

Was advertised as having Blood pressure monitor, but it is not available in the United States, Fitness tracker is trash! it doesn't recognize that you are walking if you are holding onto something such as a lawnmower handle while walking mowing it doesn't recognize that you are actively walking most of the time, about 5,000 steps show up as about 500. 2 hours of activity shows as about 30 minutes.
There's only so much a watch can do in that situation. I understand your complaint, but from a design perspective, how do you make a watch count steps if it isn't moving? I know it is still moving a bit, but it's nothing compared to normal walking movements, as the lawnmower handle acts as a stabilizer. It's an edge case that would probably lead to more issues than solutions if they tried to fix it.
They got rid of the blood pressure monitor?!? What a joke of a company. I'm saving up now to purchase my next phone outright.
