I'm waiting for delivery of the 12 year old. But I left the 15 behind. Good choice, I guess, something about the 15 seemed like a silly purchase. Great review. Hard to believe it's thin on the palate. It looks so good in the bottle. It's got to be better than the Glengoyne 12 and at only 10 bucks more than the GlenAllachie. Those are the only standard ABV sherried 12 year olds I have, unless we look at Bunnahabhain. Wonder how it compares.
I fully agree with your review, opinion about these two. I have tried them side by side a couple of times and came to the same conclusion. The 12-year (2020 & 2021) is much better and as you mentioned half the price. I am looking forward to try the 2022 12-year now.
Thanks for the review.

The Glenturret 12 over the 15 for sure. Please let me know your take on the 12.
Cheers 🥃
