you didn't mention the issue with tribal being cross faction "cheaters" cornering the devilsaur mats with the gold farming skinning toons. on some private servers you simply cannot farm for devilsaur and would be forced to pay retarded prices to make the devilsaur armour. I would go dragonscale and try and farm devilsaur for gold if there is no mafia in the way and craft the easier to get mats to sell dragonscale armour. you realy only need skinning to make money with devilsaur, crafting it just reduces the return on populated servers with organized cross faction farmers

isn't that kinda dumb though? That would mean the keys are overpriced. Or is it because of the potential of awesome stuff inside that this is the case?
In chest you often get at least one valuable in a form of green. Said item alone will cover the cost of opening chest. For example, I got a green rifle out of last chest. Said rifle sold for almost 1 gold at a vendor as all weapons tend to be well priced. For making two keys I needed truesilver bar which you can get for 20 s and one grinding stone which you do not even need to count because as a blacksmither you will use them in far greater quantities. So, it is roughly 30 silver for 2 keys. It costs 15 silver for opening one chest which can often yield you 1 gold in value. The real issue is that people do not understand that blacksmither is not obliged to open their chests for them. They roll greedily on chests and feel entitled to treasure inside merely because they won a roll. It happened yesterday in Uldaman to me. So I merely ignored rolls and asked if anyone is capable of opening said chest. Nobody could so, out of frustration I kept my mouth shut and went further into dungeon. Then we had finished instance, I went back and took the chest for myself.
i used to spend all my time crafting stuff and selling it, love that so much that i stopped leveling at level 25 just to do that haha people were like "what are you doing??? just level up" then i started leveling up but i loved the professions more than anything,
Slight correction: 3rd Bloodvine set piece is the vest (Chest). The head piece is from engineering. ;) This unfortunatly devalues the DPS robes, since you have to give it up, to get the Bloodvine set bonus.

Ah Classic Professions. When professions actually meant something. Often the best value levelling gear was profession gear unless you got very lucky with a drop. The best potions while levelling were profession potions. Some of the best achievements and achievement rewards were profession related (X faction mounts for cloth hand ins anyone?) The best enchants, the best utility items from engineers. Things that added value, saved time and were seamlessly integrated into the games core mechanics. IMO (humble)opinion legacy, heirloom gear should be bound per character (not per account) and created by professions. Most of the levelling process in terms of weapons, armour and consumables should be profession gear. Normal mob drops should be Ok get you through levelling decent and scaled to level. But if you want to hammer through levelling like a boss, then either the lucky Blue drop (which could be BiS for its level)- or the more consistently reliable professions. So best is dropped blue (very rare - unlikely to have more than one at any point during the levelling process unless you buy one for a ton of gold at the AH) next is profession gear - reliable, above the curve levelling equipment with good stats, next is normal drop greens and whites, they get the job done but most players will want to improve on them in some way. Hang on though. That's more or less how it was in Classic? IMO Classic got it exactly right. Retail in late 2018? I have no idea what professions offer most players. Nothing? A casual time wasting exercise? Plenty of players in my retail guild (all of which have unsubbed till 8.1 BTW) never even touch professions. Both profession slots just sat there empty despite some of the toons they are playing being at max level for years. End game - past your initial set, sure, all BiS is raid and dungeon drops, that's the way it has to be. But while levelling crafting and gathering should be absolutely the most consistent way to stay slightly above the curve. Then there is player housing. The one decent thing they added in Draenor, which become completely pointless one expansion later. Crafting should provide utility and vanity items for your stronghold. But for that to work the idea of player housing needs to have been updated each expansion. 2 years after Draenor dropped, player housing was dropped. What the hell was the point of that? If Blizz wanted to add microtransactions to WoW wouldn't vanity items for player housing/strongholds have been a good way to do it? Didn't they just have a great idea for them and the players then ditch it less than 2 years later? Blizzard keep putting in decent game mechanics that a game like this needs, crafting, housing. Then dropping them 1 or 2 expansions later or just paying them lip service

Is it okay to take skinning, herbalism, or mining when planning to mainly focus on dungeon grinding during the 1-60 leveling proces? Can you give examples of where you can level these in dungeons? Thanks man, love the videos

Frost, im thinking about leveling tailor so i can depend on myself for my own bags at the launch of classic. My question is do you think there will be bag shortages and or overpriced bags?
Hey Frost I love your vids and plan on rolling an UD warlock upon classic release, with that said I’m torn between taking two gathering profs or taking tailoring and enchanting. What’s your opinion on this? Do tailoring and enchanting rly help my class more than just farming skins an ores and just paying for enchants and gear?
Whenever I played a cloth class, I've picked tailor + enchant. It's not like you get that many benefits, it just felt normal. If I would roll a cloth class in classic I would still pick T+E
Frost, do you consider it to be wise starting out with 2 gathering professions (e.g. herbalism and skinning) and then switching to one of these professions that fits your class?
I don’t know if anyone will see this but why would you put enchanting on a bank alt. How would you actually enchant the gear of your main? Enchanting vellum wasn’t a thing till wrath
"How do you know all this is true?" says the retail player. "Because I play vanilla wow private servers, and this is what years of experience playing it has come to." says the veteran private vanilla wow player. I play Lightbringers Northdale private server, level 60 alliance raiding rogue named Vauwn. And this is all true. I love the meta that the veteran vanilla wow players have created.
And then they come and say "hurrrr durrr, private servers are shit and cannot be used as comparison", even though Northdale works arguably better than retail back in the days. Comparing Blizzard's buggy as fuck vanilla with +10 years of private server emulation and bug fixes.
I'm leveling a warlock and a priest during classic. My Warlock will have skinning for gold and herbalism. On my priest ill have Alchemy and Tailoring. I'll make Truefaith Vestments and when ZG hits i'll make Bloodvine for my warlock. It's self sufficient and i'll have lots of opportunities to make gold.
Hi, I was just wondering since I didn't play vanilla and I plan on it since it's coming, are armor smithing and weapon smithing 2 separate choices? Meaning you have to pick one?
Yes, you have to choose one. But that does not mean you cannot craft armor if you pick weaponsmithing. It means you cannot craft the armorsmith specific ones. Like Lionheart helmet for example. Or if you're an armorsmith you cannot craft Arcanite reaper.
What are you playing all of this vanilla gameplay on?? Private server right err? Which one if so? Or is this like older footage from Nost before the CAD? :o if you're allowed to say? Or can you message me if not please? Tankss ^_^ 👌 👍 👊 😁

Hearing that Gothic 3 music, makes me nostalgic as fuck.
Brilliant stuff!
Can you choose armor, axe sword and more or only one of those?

Which armorsmith direction is required to forge the Sulfuron Hammer? Can any weaponsmith do it?
I'm leveling a warlock and a priest during classic. My Warlock will have skinning for gold and herbalism. On my priest ill have Alchemy and Tailoring. I'll make Truefaith Vestments and when ZG hits i'll make Bloodvine for my warlock. It's self sufficient and i'll have lots of opportunities to make gold.
Can you still use the engineer bombs you need for tanking without being an engineer?
name of the background song please?????
I still have my Glimmering Mithril Trinket but man that was a rough quest line lol.
Hi, I was just wondering since I didn't play vanilla and I plan on it since it's coming, are armor smithing and weapon smithing 2 separate choices? Meaning you have to pick one?
Or do you get both just have to pick a special weapon smithing?
Yes, you have to choose one. But that does not mean you cannot craft armor if you pick weaponsmithing. It means you cannot craft the armorsmith specific ones. Like Lionheart helmet for example.
Or if you're an armorsmith you cannot craft Arcanite reaper.
Ah, ok tyvm
That Gothic 3 soundtrack ❤
Does the Sulfuron hammer require hammer specializationfor Blacksmiths?
