Harley has been struggling in its Niche market for years. That is because it has no partner in the powersports industry, which would allow Harley to widen its lineup of vehicles, further, its because dealers don't understand and remain focused on the economy. So a few strategies need to change at Harley Davidson 1- Focus on Base bikes, which can be customized with additional parts. Have 4 base chassis, The Sportster, The Softail in wide and narrow fork, and a Chopper Hardtail. Dealers can offer all types of Harley options to add to these base chassis. Cost to manufacture will be low, and thecustomer can decide what options are desired. ... 2- Partner with a manufacturer, who has expertise in sport bikes, and other Powersports vehicles (Like Yamaha) , this will widen Harley's customer base and could improve The Sportsters Chassis. .... Its either that, of face its eventual demise.
Once again… you hit the nail on the head. I don’t want my political agenda fed to me by celebrities… I don’t want it coming from corporations either. Secondly, why would you outsource production on something branded as American? Some of their smaller bikes have no soul or personality in their exhaust notes (sub sportster 750’s etc) You are also right about too many bike flavors. Harley is KNOWN for customization… sell the base and let people upgrade in packages + individual options. The BMW cash machine has been doing it for years. One thing they should do: You choose YOUR saddle when you buy. Everyone like to toss the base seat, and they do have many options… why not choose your seat? Love the channel! Great content!

A guy named Robby Starbuck started all this with complaints about "wokeness" at HD, John Deere, Tractor Supply, et al and he got the attention he wanted. Not long after, he was in a meeting where management was saying they needed to come up with a bike that appealed to younger riders-like a Buell..... He decided he couldn't endure the stupidity and left for a job at John Deere. Personally, I don't care to pay a premium for HD t-shirts or a bike that has that "special" sound. Y'all do what you want. I don't come here for political commentary and I'm disappointed this is even being discussed.

Kawasaki learned lesson, changing klr650 to a 2 cylinder water cooled engine that nobody wants, they want the single cylinder air cooled thumper.....now they're pushing hard on selling klr cheap, and they can never go back
The CEO is still there. They haven’t cancelled anything!
From what I am Hearing Harley Put out a Statement We will Quit Bla Blah Bla But have never Missed a Beat in other Words a Lie They have 0 intentions of Canceling DEI Yesterday it had Been Re Worded Not any Real changes. So Until The CEO Woke Board Members are Gone I am Done with HarleyDavidson. I have Rode Them From The 1970's and Will never Buy Parts Fluids anything From The Woke Company .Just My Openion The Letter was a Sham .
I absolutely agree with you and what you have said, Jerry. The vast majority of the viewers and the country do also. Keep up the great work.
Harley has been struggling in its Niche market for years. That is because it has no partner in the powersports industry, which would allow Harley to widen its lineup of vehicles, further, its because dealers don't understand and remain focused on the economy.
So a few strategies need to change at Harley Davidson
1- Focus on Base bikes, which can be customized with additional parts.
We are all Americans.melting pot of nations. What has changed so much past 4 years. We are turning against each other. Democrats 23% republicans 26% 55% independents
Jerry, on the Police Rod King, will a "standard" RK 2 up seat fit removing the seat it comes with ?
Of course. Any seat made for a civilian Harley fits the police bikes.
Dump the CEO-woke has got to go!!
Why would people want Elon to buy Harley as he is in the electric vehicle business? Harley received 83 million $$$ government grant/taxpayers $$$ to build electric bikes.
A guy named Robby Starbuck started all this with complaints about "wokeness" at HD, John Deere, Tractor Supply, et al and he got the attention he wanted. HD has experienced strange management for a long time. I was in a Honda store several years ago and the owner told me of a higher level HD employee who was there when HD bought Buell and killed it.
That’s right motorman!! You tell ‘em 👊🏾😎.
Imagine Elon musk owning Harley Davidson!!??!!?😂🎉🎉
I didn't care either until they started pushing it on children.
Right. Everybody says do what you want but it's all about grooming
The best thing he said was I don't care about your orientation, I just want to make you a good rider. There's a lot of things other people like that I don't. You may love squid. That's fine but don't try to force me to eat it.
The ceo and the board must go before I part with my bucks again 🇦🇺
100% American or NO Harley Davidson. How they move to Thailand? Thats a joke.
They didn't give it up
They did not. They're being slippery leftist phonies
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Harley Employees need to remove the Board and CEO ASAP. They want to remove/change their customer base.. us!
That professor already knows no instructor would treat her any differently, she just HAS to be a professional Vick Timothy at all times. After all, that is her chosen career field.
Jerry great advice which I hope HD takes including firing the CEO and board
Amen, I personally do not care about political , sexual, or religious preferences as long as it is not pushed onto anyone else.
They didn't drop anything . They just adjusted the terminology.
I just read in this comment section, and confirmed, Harley received 83 million grant to build electric bikes. Taxpayers $ to make electric 😮
