It's difficult to see what's happening when you're a child, and it dawns on you when you're older and makes you feel bad. Well, we shouldn't feel bad. I hope you feel better about the situation. I find the not swearing issue odd, since I definitely watch a youtuber from Middlesbrough who swears quite often and she's for sure monetized lol I know that after a minute or so of a video starting you can't, but after that she just doesn't bother bleeping it out since it doesn't matter from that point.

The covid virus has mutated. It's called the Delta strain, and it's more easily transmitted, with more severe symptoms. Unfortunately, I think it will continue to mutate and get worse as time goes on. I don't think it will ever go away. We had to start wearing masks again at work, even if vaccinated (as I am). And as of July 20th, all bars are extremely restricted as how many clients they are allowed to have. I think capacity is at one third of normal. Restaurants are the same. Really sucks. We tried to go out last weekend, and all places we went were at full restricted capacity. So we just bought some booze and went home, and put on the sound system, and danced at home, and got plastered. (Jan Griffiths).

I know it can be scary, especially when it’s about trauma and you don’t wanna remember it, but I promise your that you are strong enough and you are worth sorting that out. We love being here and listening to whatever you need to say, but we’re not qualified to talk back and really help. It takes a bad bitch to dig into what’s wrong, and I know you’re a badass. just a heads up about swearing in videos I'm pretty sure if you don't swear/censor swearing for the first 2 minutes of your video youtube marks it as clear of swearing. it might of changed but last time i checked that's how it was working

I wore a wedding dress to our school prom thing YEARS ago. They are small! I wore mine with the top part open and tucked in the skirt, so you could only see the poofy skirt part. I wore it with a leather jacket and big Dr Martens. Wedding dresses rule. I would wear it now if I could find one.
I wore a black gown with gold accents and cutouts that I designed myself to my prom. I still have it, and it still fits. It's open back, and plunging neckline, gold chains on the back., small cutouts with gold trim on the right leg, and a slit to the waist on the left. It was pretty risque at the time, but wowed the crowd. I think my boyfriend was intimidated. I didn't wear a jacket, because I live in AZ and it was getting rather warm in the evenings. I wore huge black patent platform sandals. (Jan Griffiths).

Try wearing rubber gloves and unscrewing them, you'll have a better grip. Hope it helps x

As for the processing trauma part, I completely understand- I unfortunately have been in the same boat, trying to process things and it's not easy but I am really proud of you - from an outside perspective. You are such a strong person- and the way you manage everything in terms of emotions and family life gives me (and other, I'm sure) hope for the future. Because of my background, the idea of having kids has been absolutely terrifying, but I'm trying really hard to remember that that part of my life was a part of my history, not who I am. I know you're just now processing things, and that's ok- but I really appreciate your willingness to be open, or to at least try.

I also blocked trauma and i ddidnt know until last year, one day boom it felt like i was running and went straight into a wall, i suddently saw flashbacks of a traumatic thing that happened like 15 years ago that i had blocked so far away that i had a panic attack remembering it ! Its like you know when you wake up from a horrible nightmare that felt so real ? well its kind of like that and im horrible at dealing with stuff, im very impulsive ! i love you emily ! stay strong girl, youve got this ! I can imagine Violet being almost your height. I was nearly 5 feet tall when I was 7. My grandma was your height, and I was a tad taller than her. I outgrew her 6 months later. Violet is such a beautiful girl. She gets prettier every time she is in a video. And I love her personality. She's an awesome kid. (Jan Griffiths).
Lockdown has been therapeutic for me as well. The amount of suppressed trauma and abuse that surfaced was almost crushing at one point. I made it to here and now though, a whole year after the initial spiral, I made it! I have a daughter as well, she's 5, and thinking about her and the interactions she will have with others and coming to terms with her growth from a baby to a toddler to a kindergartener really shook me. My trauma began so close to how old she is now, it really flipped a switch in me. I wish you and your family the best. From one mom to another working on healing, best wishes forever 🖤🖤🖤
