Good practice to change or at least make sure the feed and drain pipes are clear. I'd also give it an oil change to be on safe side. I know it hadn't failed but with that much play, the particles from wear will have gone somewhere (in the oil). This isn't a criticism post as I like your video and I'm fairly new on the mobile front myself.
The customer said It drove ok, just a noise coming from the turbo. I didn't drive it after seeing the amount of oil around it and feeling that amount of play though. Cheers Matt
