Jonny greenwood suffered from carpel tunnel, the bandage was a support for the his hand due to the aggressive style of play

It's always great to see. I recorded it on VHS at broadcast and watched it countless times. Now with RUclips around I've rewatched it probably even more than I did back then.

So should we cut him some slack or find ways to exploit the memory loss? 🤔😄

See if we can get him to do it again next month? Paranoid Androiday could become a regular feature.

🔥♥️ Love the switchups in their songs. It's like movements in symphonies.
Thom's haunting wail is mournful and even kind of unearthly. (But I'll say that while his singing is breathtaking and unique, I wouldn't quite hold him up with Freddie or Chris in being a virtuoso in versatility across many styles and techniques...)
The song title and lyrics here are based on the character Marvin the Paranoid Android from the book The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Marvin hates his creators and is depressed about not being allowed to use his limitless talents because they're being wasted on trivial things.
Great review 😊 (Rory ... you did this one a few wks ago... but you brought up some new things here 😄) Thx for the request, Luke 👍

"Matey" is Jonny Greenwood , maybe he has repetitive strain injury (hence the arm support) associated with the guitar playing style ?! (just guessing) .

i always thought it was to protect his wrists for when he strums really fast. Strumming like that consistently can cause carpal tunnel

I don't know the exact name of that thing that Jonny Grenwood has on his arm, but a doctor recommended that he use it so that his arm wouldn't suffer some type of injury, due to his aggressive way of playing the guitar. By the way good video man.

Tendonitis, Johnny has a very aggressive style of playing and it's to protect him from injury

Loving your Radiohead reactions. I find it's pointless trying to work out the meaning, I just enjoy the ride! I can't imagine anyone able to cover them.

Such an amazing album, OK Computer. It lost the best album Grammy in 1997 to the only album I’d prefer it to: Time Out of Mind by Bob Dylan. The only Best Album Bob ever got.

For me, this is the best song recorded since Pink Floyds 'Comfortably Numb' in 1978/79 and nothing has beaten it since then, I keep listening for something to compare it to or even beat it, but the further away from it we get, the shittier and shittier music seems to be getting and it hurts my heart, in 1997 this was played on the (mainstream Radio 1) radio, that sadly will NEVER happen again, imagine instead of Harry Styles, Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift and their likes polluting our ears we were getting music of this quality on a regular basis....
BTW, the original line in the song was "God loves his children, thats why he kills them, yeah", Thom was persuaded to change it, a part of me wishes he hadn't..

Thom has debunked that he ever wrote that as the original lyric and said he doesn't know where that rumor came from. It's just myth within the fanbase
