    Two things:
1: About the ice age, we are currently in an interglacial period, which are shorter than ice ages. True human civilisation arose in this very interglacial period because the conditions were right for it. The long term climate trend should be gradual cooling over the coming many thousands of years into the next ice age, but it is looking like we will instead be warming, which is bad. It is hypothesised however that the melting of the ice caps will disrupt ocean currents and result in an eventual cooling effect again - probably what inspired Thom Yorke to say Ice Age Coming, but its also metaphorical to say that there is clearly a disaster on the way.
2: Thom is not a climate skeptic at all. He is an environmentalist and at the time of writing Kid A was obsessed with the risk of climate change. By saying "Let me hear both sides" followed by lines like "We're not scare mongering, this is really happening" and "take the money and run" What he is actually saying is that climate skeptics, right wing politicians, and corrupt oligarchs & fossil fuel corporations, are trying to inject an alternative side to climate change and dispute that it is true, when really it is not a political debate but is a scientific one that does not have two sides. Hes saying people are ignoring the threat of climate change and when the time come, those who minimised the danger will "take the money and run" implying the wealthy corrupt people claiming climate change is not a threat will be the least affected by it.
It was much more prominent between the 1980s - 2000 for fossil fuel corporations and politicians to directly dispute climate change. It is no longer disputed by anyone credible, it is happening, and we are warming when we should be entering the next glacial period (ice age). Life will survive it, but our society will suffer greatly - reduced agricultural yields, extreme migration from low lying countries like Bangladesh, increased severe weather events etc will be seriously destabilising.

I saw this performed live at Bonarroo 2006. 80,000 people out in a field with glow sticks flying around everywhere. It was incredible.

Welcome to the Radiohead rabbit hole! 🕳️ 🐇
“Who’s in the bunker? Who’s in the bunker? Women and children first..”
This is Thom’s prediction of an impending apocalypse while a bunch of idiots dance in a discotheque.
    Great reaction mate!

I love your commentary, don't be sorry!! Never really got deep into Radiohead but they are awesome Thom's angelic vocals, this one he seem to have an edgey and sounds like a message almost like a cry. Awesome reaction Rory, if Nala is chewing on toes she'll be chewing on your shoes soon enough. Thank You Luke for the request. 😊💓🤘✌️

That is true and I agree however there is a bury your head in the sand aspect on the right that I feel is a bit disturbing. I have never actually seen this clip very cool.

The two poles of the Earth have only had ice on them at the same time four times in the 4.7 billion years that the planet has been around.
It’s completely rare in other words .
Technically, we are in an ice age right now.
