So glad you have reviewed this knife. I’ve been carrying it for a week now, and love it. Unique in its design- it is a performer to say the least. It is a true EDC that can either be a low dweller in my pocket, or incorporated with a belt loop carabiner! So happy with this knife.
Said nobody ever ! All kidding aside, I bought this knife, and it desperately needs a pocket clip. The detent is pretty weak, and it can open easily in pocket… It’s designated to my little Camelback.
@@JH-hz1cu What I would LIKE to see is companies just offering two versions of knives. One version with the typical pocket clip and one where they just skip that step. No price change required I'm more than willing to pay more for less. Most of the time I take pocket clips off my knives because I carry them in jacket pockets unclipped and the clips can occasionally snag. Particularly when I'm wearing a suit. It isn't hard to take the clip off but it always bugs me just a little bit to see the holes where it was. Or in the case of the X5 to see an entire machined out notch where the clip was.
@@SquidTheCynic yeah, it wouldn’t take much. Who knows, maybe the knife will have a higher demand than expected, and they will listen to the recommendations!
Why most people prefer clips if you like the clip just take it off . This knife most definitely won't sell well just because it doesn't have a pocket clip
I purchased one and have it hanging on a magnetic hook on the side of my refrigerator. Given the low price, I figured it would be a great utility blade for use around the house. The fact that it has no pocket clip and has a good way to hang it, I figured it would be great for this use.
I have the orange one and I really love it. I definitely would like a pocket clip but I sewed a canvas pocket slip and it has worked great. I did hear a different reviewer mention that they are making a pocket clip you can add after the fact. Also just in case anyone wonders after taking mine apart I discovered that the button unscrews from the liner so you may want to add some loctite. I did and it hasn’t budged.
I only carry traditionals. Never felt the need for a clip in edc life. Only when i had a job where id need it regularly even then i usually just carried an opinel.
The open profile is fantastic on this piece, it is for sure carried by not having a clip, helps keep it clean. Closed profile is pretty weird and not super appealing to me.
I'd assume this is also ideal for people who work at heights and have to attach all their tools to their harness with a cable or rope to prevent them from accidently dropping it.
I thought FOR SURE someone mentioned on a short or video that Ketuo would come out with a replacement for the loop so you could have a pocket clip…now I can’t find it 🤦🏻♂️
It's fine to have things remind you of other ones. Especially when he sat those two beside each other you can tell they're quite different but could still be related. The deka sure looks like a 940 to me , as thats one i see often.

I really wish more companies would make knives without a pocket clip or a spot for one

@@J1c80 when I bought mine I somehow overlooked that But still enjoy it in the bag

I would love to see it AD10 size. Love the blade shape. And it’s a nice price. Now someone needs to do some custom scales.
Thats got a cool look to it.

As much as i love lanyards, im gonna pass on this one 😂 pretty neat design though
I love mine! I’d like to see Ketuo do a higher end version with a pocket clip. The button-liner lock is great! 👍
Other than the fact that mine had some blade play after fidgeting with it for a few days and I had to use some loctite, I love this knife.
Also, if you put a lanyard on it and let that dangle out of pocket, it can essentially serve as a clip.
Hogue makes the EX-01 with a button lock that has a secondary lock, keeping the knife open. Seriously one of the best knives I own.
I'm digging the blade shape. Wish it had a pocket clip.
I'd assume this is also ideal for people who work at heights and have to attach all their tools to their harness with a cable or rope to prevent them from accidently dropping it.
Great lock. Keep it simple always works the best.
If this had a clip I'd buy it in a heartbeat 😢
That blade shape is really cool

SOLD!!
Are they going to make a different blade shape on this knife?
Looks like it was inspired by old sailor jack knives.
Very EDC and neck knife
REALLY like the lock mechanism and setup. The rest is a hard, hard pass. Ketuo, please use this mechanism in other designs!
You can take off the ring
Interesting
No volume
No clip no thanks. I just picked up a Kizer Mini Sheepdog on sale for $48. has a deep carry clip and aluminum scales 🤙🏼
T6 ARE TRASH AND I HATE THEM. ALL KNIFE COMPANIES PLEASE USE T8 AND UP.
Looks like a Denka clone.
That's just a first impression. I realize that the locking mechanism, blade shape, and materials are different.

Pretty Gay of the company not to include a pocket clip
