Because you have already given Cars 2 and Incredibles 2 their own full review videos after that other video you made about terrible Pixar sequels, and I want to know why you think Finding Dory could be any worse or any better. From how little you talked about it in that video, I believe you might want to give Finding Dory another watch.
I love Disney but I wish they would let people express their creativity! So many people have ideas that need to be heard but are ignored for the same stories over and over. Lilo and Stitch is such a great movie because they let creative people express their ideas. They put in so much work, even with the 2000s CGI!! But no, Disney will make a soulless live action remake of it with a small blue alien and a cute girl, completely undermining what made the story so important. Thank you for the video, I hope they change.
They do. Strange Word bombed because Disney takes risks with such very niche, All Tomorrows -type speculative material, and the creativity of the creators let them down. Live action Lilo and Stitch is one of the worst ideas Disney has ever had... and that's saying a lot. I truly cannot imagine a live action version of it being good.
In a world of “alpha males”, be a David. Never judges Nani for basically being a single parent, struggling to make ends meet, or having to balance maintaining her job with raising her sister. He unconditionally cares about her and knows that they have a meaningful relationship that’s worth building. He doesn’t let superficial and temporary aspects prevent him from being with her. One of Disney’s best leading male characters if not THE best!
i remember being deeply fascinated with this movie when i first saw it (still am), because in spite of the alien shenanigans, the situation lilo and nani find themselves in is very real. so many disney movies before this weren't really concerned with the aftermath of the death of a parent, and here lilo & stitch barges onto the scene - promising alien shenanigans with their quirky trailers, and delivering a raw story about two sisters struggling to stay afloat with CPS on their necks and a weapon of mass-destruction incarnate having an existential crisis.
Dude I’ve been saying this FOR YEARS: Lilo & Stitch is the perfect film (and personally one of my favorites of all time as well). I’m even writing my Uni dissertation on it, as I’m taking an Animation BA. Chris’ art style is also one of my main visual inspirations for my personal art style. Thank you for not holding back in praising how absolutely phenomenal this piece of art is in literally every way - and it’s an honor hearing it from a Hawaiian person.
Funny thing is, I recently rewatched it and I was analyzing it myself. Particularly I was looking into how everything tied up perfectly in it. Example: Stitch's original reason for being with Lilo was to use her as a meat shield so Jumba wouldn't risk shooting him, Jumba through following Stitch around looking for a chance to shoot him is being surprised by all the unexpected things Stich is doing, like how he's actually surfing against the risk of drowning, in the end, I kind of think Jumba was convinced to help stitch so easily was cause he had seen all that stitch was going through.
Actually, one thing I noticed that cheered me up was, the galactic federation was GOING to maroon Stich on an uninhabited asteroid, but when he crash landed on Earth, he was KINDA marooned there anyway, and without any major cities to terrorize like he wanted- in a way, his fate was the same from the big picture- with the exception that he's not lonely.
This film was beautiful in every way and meant a lot to me once I finally watched it. The characters relationships and family struggles were far more real then they should have been in a movie with an alien dressed up as Elvis.
Lilo & Stitch has been my favorite Disney movie since when I was growing up. And even now, the more times I rewatch it or listen to analysis on it like this video, the more I adore it. Yes Lilo and Stitch is extremely underrated yet it was extremely successful on first launch but I’m not sure on treasure planet/island and the lost empire though Stitch on the other hand Yes
I remember being the same age as Lilo when this movie came out. It was so special to me because it was also the year I would first meet my grandma in Hawai’i (Kailua in fact!) I remember becoming so interested in hula that she made an outfit for me. I remember bringing my Lilo and Stitch happy meal toys to Kauai on the same trip. This movie is near and dear to my heart.
@@racheljackson4428 Fun Fact: The reason this film exists is because Michel Eisner said that there needed to be a film that was cheaper than Tarzan and Atlantis the Lost Empire, a good example was Dumbo which also had a low budget. Thankfully Chris Sanders had just the thing.

"X-Men The Animated Series" was so well crafted. The story of mutants was so universally relatable. Media abstractly taught me life lessons, touched on difficult situations, found intelligent ways to tell stories. So much so that even when I've gone back & rewatched them as a adult. I realized how well they told & crafted stories that anyone can enjoy & appreciate them. (Pretty much anything created by Don Bluth or Written by Roald Dahl) The Brave Little Toaster, James and the giant peach, The never ending story, Rocko's modern life, The secret of the Nimh, Little Nemo and the adventures of Slumberland, beetle juice, Alice in wonderland, Rock-a-doodle, Captain Planet, Thundercats, He-man, Spawn, Batman, Batman beyond, toxic crusaders, Matilda, The BFG, Ren and stimpy, courage the cowardly dog, magic school bus, Dexter's laboratory, pinky and the brain, I am weasel, IR Baboon, Ah! Being a hardcore svi Fi fan, this is my all time favorite film by Disney. Do excited for the live-action remake next year. Stitch in my opinion, has always been like Disney's Sonic The Hedgehog. 🤣
12:52 I can only assume that they were probably going to do an autopsy, since it was such a strange, looking dog. I don’t get why he would be in a cage though.
Hercules and Lilo and Stitch are my favourites Disney animated movies. I'm dreading for the unavoidable live action remakes. Why Disney? Just why? Leave our childhood memories alone!!!
Been watching your videos for about a week or so now, and I didn't know you were Hawaiian. What island do you live on? My family lived on the Big Island for 4 years when I was younger. We lived in Kona for 3 years, and Hilo our last year there.
Lilo and stitch is one of my favorite film. Top 3, for sure. I’m not a person of color But I’m sure that Disney got many Cultures right in there movies like lilo and stitch, Princess and the frog, Aladdin, Hunchback of Notre Dame(Minusing The G racial Slur), Encanto, Moana, Etc.
For some reason lilo and stitch feels more like a Pixar movie than a Disney movie. I know Pixar’s big thing is 3d animation, but the story, creativity, and weirdness of this amazing movie feels more like a Pixar creation than that of Disney
You do not know Aldone's background, and neither do I! If he is Hawaiian, how do you know that he is Hawaiian? Does he say that in this video? Did he tell us that somewhere else?
i like your effort here, but to be honest half of this video was saying things in Hawaiian and translating them instead of analyzing the movie which from the thumbnail/title i thought it would be about. you were also retelling the movie a lot (summerazation) instead of adding anything to it that explained why you think its so perfect. i didnt get much out of this video, but you seem like a new channel so i'm 100% sure you can improve. all love!
In my opinion, this movie suffers from one fatal flaw. It does one thing very, very well, and that is the story of Lilo and Nani. The Hawai'ian cultural aspect is part of that. I found the whole alien plot to be a distraction. Whenever it went to them, I just fond myself thinking, "Can we go back to the story of the sisters please?" You could have replaced Stitch with literally anything, and it wouldn't have made a difference in the story of Lilo and Nani. He could have been a dog, a cat, a rabbit, or a robot and their story wouldn't have been affected. I guess I'm saying that Lilo & Stitch should have been Lilo & Nani and have the focus be on the sisters' relationship. It wouldn't have been the first movie about a broken family trying to stay together, but it would have been one of the best. I'm not sure how the movie would have played out without the alien plot, but I stand by what I said before that it just distracted me from the real heart of the story, which was Lilo and Nani. Oh, I also like how they approached Cobra Bubbles. They could have made him a straight up villain, but no, they took a very realistic and very mature approach to his character. He is just a man doing his job, and sadly, his job sometimes requires him to make very heartbreaking decisions.
Absolutely NOT. It's far FAR from being "perfect," and not even one of the top 20 best Disney animated films. By this logic just because I'm Hispanic, "Encanto" or "Coco" should be my number 1 favorite film just because "representation." And no, neither of those two are on the top 20 Disney animated films either.
Jeez. You are talking as its a big deal and its the worst movie. And AGAIN. You people say these things without explanations. So you are just doing this for no reason and just to spite.

I learned so much Hawaiian language and culture in one sitting my head hurts
I am absolutely crazy about this film! There is not bandwidth here for me to list why this movie is damn near perfect!
I dont think the ice cream man is losing. I think in my weird brain even as a kid that he has severe dairy allergies or diabetes and it’s him trying to end it all on his last vacation but life wants him to carry on.
This film is perfect one of my favourites movies and this needs a remake why? I don't understand disney anymore trying change already perfect movie.
Cool also saw some comments online about a few scenes like 7:36, 9:00, 9:15, 11:38 being suprising they got made and on tv. Not sure how or why that happened but movies one of the best
Being a hardcore svi Fi fan, this is my all time favorite film by Disney. Do excited for the live-action remake next year.
Stitch in my opinion, has always been like Disney's Sonic The Hedgehog. 🤣
It really is an amazing movie! Love Stitch!
And it's so good that i have it in my top 10 favorite disney movies!
12:52 I can only assume that they were probably going to do an autopsy, since it was such a strange, looking dog. I don’t get why he would be in a cage though.
Too bad Disney is going to make an unnecessary live action remake of this. What is there even to improve? 🤦♂️
I love this movie with all my heart and I can't believe it will be ruined by its live action 😢😢the live action is going to be awful 🤢
In a few years no one will ralk about that version. The animated original will always reign surpreme.
GREAT VIDEO ❤❤❤❤❤
For some reason lilo and stitch feels more like a Pixar movie than a Disney movie. I know Pixar’s big thing is 3d animation, but the story, creativity, and weirdness of this amazing movie feels more like a Pixar creation than that of Disney
Stitch is my Favorite Disney Character
Where were you when I was writing my Lilo and Stitch Dissertation? 😭😄
jk, great vid 🙌🏼
"live in hoy"
Do a villain anyalise video on Dr Hamsterviel .
All they missed is a reference to the 9th island of Hawaii, iykyk
I think the Remake might be very good (Maybe. Just maybe). I= (
Promote of Lilo & Stitch is good it's so better the disney's Re-boots
Even though they lied on the commercials and is an ok movie, the remake better be good & Stitch better be cute lol
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
you need to put subs whenever you quote large blocks of text! in this case the song lyrics
The real reason is cuz you sir, are Hawaiian. Biased opinion but still based.
I agree
You do not know Aldone's background, and neither do I! If he is Hawaiian, how do you know that he is Hawaiian? Does he say that in this video? Did he tell us that somewhere else?
@@Adamkalb1 I think that in his Moana video, it said something that he came from Polynesian ancestry since he felt quite sincere about it.
@@Adamkalb1 I’m his irl best bud haha. I went to high school with him.
@@starryskyknightse doesn’t say he lives there. But yes he is related to these people.
I don't remember this movie plot, at all. The last time I had watch this movie, was the early 2000s.
Lilo & Stitch is one of the best animated films Disney has ever made. Period.
i like your effort here, but to be honest half of this video was saying things in Hawaiian and translating them instead of analyzing the movie which from the thumbnail/title i thought it would be about. you were also retelling the movie a lot (summerazation) instead of adding anything to it that explained why you think its so perfect. i didnt get much out of this video, but you seem like a new channel so i'm 100% sure you can improve. all love!
It's only a matter of time before Disney butchers this movie
I Can understand your point, but Im not totaly agree. Yes, the hearth of the movie is Lilo and Nani, but Stitch is very important to.
fuuuny manm
And now they’re gonna remake it and ruin it. 🙃
Definitely not my taste, given my preference for the epic musicals. That said, it's still a solid film.
Don't you mean the cheesiest film?
Absolutely NOT. It's far FAR from being "perfect," and not even one of the top 20 best Disney animated films. By this logic just because I'm Hispanic, "Encanto" or "Coco" should be my number 1 favorite film just because "representation." And no, neither of those two are on the top 20 Disney animated films either.
My dude, just let the man have his opinion. If he likes it, that’s ok.
Jeez.
You are talking as its a big deal and its the worst movie.
And AGAIN. You people say these things without explanations. So you are just doing this for no reason and just to spite.
Many other peopje such as myself disagree with you.
