    If you take it off and drill into a bit of timber will stop the plastic cracking. You can get a small UV fish tank filter to keep the water good.
    Whats the pros and cons of airated deep water vs pump and a spray head?

    • @mrnice752
      @mrnice752 5 месяцев назад +2

      One uses an air pump and stone, other uses a water pump and sprayers. Air pump, hose and air stone will be cheaper than the water pump, line and all the spray fittings. Air pump will be louder if that's an issue and needs to be ran pretty much 24/7, water pumps are quiet and only need to spray for about 1 minute every 15.
      An issue with with the spray method is the clone is suspended in air so if anything goes wrong with a blocked sprayer, pump, timer or you have a power cut then unrooted clones can die pretty quickly, with the bubble method they are at least in water.

  • @npklife4205
    @npklife4205 2 года назад +1

    How fast do are you ready to transplant those clones? I usually get 7-9 days with a regular cloning dome with the divider insert. I use a little clonex gel and cloning solution. I've learned to use less light so they don't try to grow, just root out.

      Honestly clones are easier than you may think. I stick mine in right in dirt and I'd say 8 times out of 10 they root and do fine. I do use a lid for humidity though. The roots definitely don't grow like in this video so I'm gonna try this little setup.

    • @sirrichard6685

      There is nothing difficult about cloning. It is do simple. Take a cutting, cut stem at 45 degree angle, dip it in clone x gel and place in cloner pod. Add water and a air pump to spray roots and within ten days you gave roots. Clones must be under 24 hours of light, about 150 ppfd, not much light at all just constant. Check water every other day
