I repented and came out of the homosexual lifestyle. After I gave my life to God, I was bullied and sexually harassed by demons for months as well. I was like I'll never go back to the darkness. They messed up by being so apparent and bold.
I work in a psychiatric hospital, l haven’t seen so many demonic manifestations as l have at this place, it’s sad! I’ve never felt fear thankfully, because I know who my savior is… Jesus❤
I was a psych patient 2020 the the entire summer. I was locked in a hallway for 40 days, let out, went back in another 40 days. At the time I felt like everyone else had demons and maybe some of them did.. but so did I. I didn't realize how bad it was until I asked God to help me and all the creepy stuff stopped. It is hard to explain to someone who has never gone through it.. but being demonically fallen felt like reality itself was altered around me. It was very interesting and something about it was intoxicating/ it made my judgement extremely poor while at the same time making me feel like I had super powers. It's funny how the truth is the opposite. If God didn't exist ALL OF US would be loaded with those nuggets.
Don’t forget: Christians, who are indwelled by the Holy Spirit, cannot be possessed. However, we can be demonically influenced and oppressed. Put on the whole Armor of God!
I know him and his beautiful wife personally. So grateful for them. I thank God for Ch./Pastor Dabbs. May the Lord bless all that hear this and read this book. It’s important to not leave a footholds or a door open for the devil and the demons So we should always be careful with what consume, think, do and everything with healing and deliverance some are instant, some are process but God still gets the glory and He already Won the Victory 😊❤
I’ve never for one moment doubted that demons are real. As a child, my Mom and her friend had an experience with a “ghost”. And my grandmother’s house had death sounds which I also experienced. I shared with the pastor of our church at the time that I sensed a demonic stronghold in a grove of trees across from my parents home. He said that others had said that when they came back to the church to give a program, that they could sense a difference when they crossed the the bridge just before my Grandma’s house. Which makes sense because my cousin that owned the property was an evil man. My husband shared with me recently that when Mom would ask him to outside after dark to dump table scraps that he got such an eerie feeling and would hurry to get back inside. And my son hated being outside there after dark. I was never scared because I guess I grew up there and felt as a Christian I had the protection of the blood of Jesus. He was talking about his ten year old daughter. I think more times than people realize, when kids say there is something scary in their room, under the bed, that kind of thing, that it is demonic and not just their imagination. Not all the time, but many times. Satan doesn’t play fair. Thank you Sean for this video. I’ve ordered the book.

I am only 14 minutes in and I am in so grateful and shocked... these have been my experiences too... and in the past I didn't know what to do... i used to be an elementary school teacher and some of the students would manifest demons in front of me and I feel so bad that I didn't tell it to go in Jesus name... I was just so shocked... I was in seminary school at NOBTS and my mentor started to manifest a demon and I did nothing.... I've also experienced random people glaring at me like they hated me and then I realized they had all this occult stuff on.... I 1,000% believe that we are EXACTLY as you said we are in the kingdom of light and they can see it.
What does it mean for a "demon to manifest"? How exactly did the children and your mentor "manifest a demon"? What happened? And random people glaring at you -- why do you jump to the conclusion of demons and not something like mental illness, sleep deprivation, etc.?
The mentor starting blinking compulsively and her head and neck were moving in a way like there was a struggle going on within herself … I had seen it happen once before in someone else… it’s bizarre … I looked across the table at another woman who was witnessing the whole thing and she was as shocked as I was because she had known this mentor for a few years . I was just meeting her for the first time over lunch. The school assigned her to me- everyone new graduate student got one. This one particular student was growling at me and her personality was gone and something else came there that was not her. I’ve taught hundreds of kids truly it was smirking and laughing and making strange noises … she was a brilliant child but she had serious behavior issues and did not like to be caught in lies or face consequences.

Wow, the descriptions of the angry people made me think of an experience I have. I was walking past people at a train station and something made me take a second glance at one of the people. He was staring at me with the scariest angry face I have never seen before or since on a human, it reminded me so strongly of that Doctor who adversary, the smilers, when they showed their 3rd and angriest face. I was terrified, looked away and walked away quickly. It still brings tears to my eyes when I think about it.
I have experienced the same thing. I could go through a checkout line and the cashier is pleasant with everyone else when I get up there they turn Stone Cold. I asked a former Pastor if it could be spiritual and he did say that yes it can be, but the enemy in them recognizes the spirit of God in me.
I had 2 poeple on separate days once, curse at me, as I was just walking past on the way to a shop...I jusst knew it was a spiritual cause, since there was no provocation, and no cursing was aimed at anyone else. Fortunately i was not afraid, I also had my hubby there.
I was attacked by an entity when I lay in bed one evening. I wasn't a Christian and didnt know how to pray. All I could remember was the first couple of sentences of the Lords Prayer and I couldn't even say them as I was so terrified. It didnt matter that I couldn't speak as He saved me regardless 😊😊❤ Just thinking of seeking help was enough . That was 30 years ago and I'm so grateful to God for allowing me to realise that He actually really exists, and He comes to our aid when we need him
I had the same experience. I was raised Christian, pastors kid. And never had a demonic encounter until after I started actively trying to convert people. I've had people call me on the phone at work that responded to my thoughts. This year I had a patient that wished me a "happy belated birthday" 1 day after my birthday. This guy didn't know me and none of my coworkers told him. So.. You kind of just get used to it. The hard part is when you are confronted with a possessed person I almost always forget to pray for them. So I guess it shows my maturity is not all the way there yet.
I really appreciate that you understand not everything is demonic, but might be a physical condition. I like your answer to not knowing which it is: It never hurts to pray. I can do that!

Sometimes God allows us to feel His Presence, He can literally touch us 😊❤and He gives us Peace that surpasses all understanding, Love, Joy , Strength etc of course it’s always important to never live by our emotions and to always be aware of His Presence knowing and remembering that He is always there with us (we are never alone) guiding us, helping us, speaking to us😊❤ Meanwhile the devil and the demons only want to steal kill and destroy so there presence is dark, heavy, wanting to instill fear and they are dirty etc.
Sean - This was fascinating. I believe that the Western church has really watered down the supernatural aspect of our faith. I'm a big fan of yours (you once made a quick video to my daughter Carley, up at Hume Lake), and this was one of your best interviews. I purchased Steve's book before I was done watching this episode.
Demons are definitely real, but they're laughably weak compared to God. They can only be withstood w/ the authority & victory that Jesus offers; we have to be covered by The Blood.
I had a similar experience that Steve had when first became a believer and I started really getting into God’s word and then would have what felt like someone choking me as well and in my dream it was a dark presence but I couldn’t see its face. I was saying in the dream “Jesus is King” and that’s why I was being chocked. And then I remember I was praying and then woke up and my neck was soooo tingly and felt like it was really grabbed. I have had a couple of those and prayed that God would rebuke those evil spirits and things away and haven’t had one of those dreams in awhile.
I'm so glad y'all are talking about this. I have been trying to get my son who has been tormented for years by demons to write a book about his experiences. This is real! I have experienced demons myself. You know it is demons because the name of Jesus is the only thing that gets rid of them. They go immediately. My son also suffers from PTSD and night terrors from this. Since getting re- baptized and following Jesus more closely, he has been mostly relieved from the night terrors. But still occasionally has attacks in his sleep. Once you have been exposed to demons, you can recognize them, and they recognize you. This is why you can now detect evil in people. These demons see Jesus in you and are truly afraid.
This stuff really is real, I've had to deal with it in traumatic ways growing up, [I'm only in my 20s] and my father relates to the INVISIBLE hand choking mentioned here. Nowadays I rely fully on Jesus to get through all things and he always comes through, He is Lord over All. But it's true that the church needs a wake up call, to address this stuff. 🙏 Yes, there has been a cultural shift toward recognizing the paranormal/extra dimensional, though sadly that cultural shift has come in on a wave of accepting witchcraft, mysticism, and occult activities into the mainstream of culture, rather than a rise of genuine Christianity. I say this as one who grew up in the church, steered clear of the occult all along, and was otherwise sheltered, yet still encountered it through people who claimed to be Christians, but were living in sin that opened the floodgates to demonic oppression, and even possession; which included many of the details Steve describes here. While I can put my fear of demons to rest in Jesus' name, I still need prayer, and the battle isn't over, as I sometimes still struggle with experiences or nightmares "sensing" evil presences nearby. Anti-God relatives clashing with lukewarm [and some serious] Christians here have stirred "friction" between spiritual forces lately. The apathy and denial many in the church have over this issue only allows it to grow worse, like a deadly infection... I'm a very scientifically minded person, trying to find a "logical" reasoning behind everything, but in truth, there are things where "an unseen realm" IS the only rational explanation, even atheists have opened up to me about that.

Twice in my life I've woke up late in the night surrounded by pure evil. I started praying and calling on God and the evil disappeared and i went right back to sleep. I didnt realize this was demonds i dont know what i thought. Im glad i have God to protect me. I dont know why this happened.
@@strykerhero994 didn't see anything but it woke me up from a dead sleep and the evil was there the room was heavy with it. I didn't tell anyone for a long time. I felt paralyzed.
When my aunt who was a pastor passed, she raised me and my brother from when i was 1y.o till graduating college and so ive got a lot of various regrets I wished I could have done before she passed and not being able to see her even on her funeral. At one point I wished I could see her one last time and right after that thought I am reminded immediately of what she told me that if you saw their spirit after passing that’s not them. It’s the devil trying to deceive you and copying them. So don’t be fooled by it. Thankfully that didn’t happen despite of my thought. Although I dream of her once in a while until now.
From what I’ve heard it’s not good to dream of people who are resting/passed because it’s most likely to be a demon and talking to the dead is called necromancy so it’s witchcraft By the way I recommend not listening to kpop I used to listen to a lot of secular music but its literally demonic and I can give many examples why God has helped me to stop listening to secular music and I never want to go back if it’s not about God what is it about? If it’s not for God who is it for? The devil used to make music in Heaven until he got kicked out because he wanted everyone to worship him instead Ephesians 5:19 “singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts.” 😊❤️
I had a similar experience of being choked by a pair of hands they looked blue in colour and felt cold against my neck. I grabbed the hands and yanked them away from me and said, "get away from me you demon from hell" and sure enough the hands vanished. I looked over at my then husband who was fast asleep in the bed next to me and he didn't hear a thing. I have had several other encounters while I was married and later on in my relationship with a former partner. Both my ex husband and former partner had dealings with what we call obeah or the occult. They both have family members who deals with these dark forces on behalf of others or for themselves. Only after my relationships ended, did I get the full understanding of why I was being attacked in this way. I was laying with dogs and catching their fleas! We should be careful of the company we keep, I have come to understand that the very people that live around me, some are very mixed up with the occult and obeah and it's growing in interest the younger generations are getting into this stuff without even realising it. New Age is a gateway to these encounters and it's popular, with celebrities too!
I've read and experienced much in this area, but will prob buy this book. I've always wondered how the early church and the ancient Hebrews dealt with this. Also learning about more experiences are always helpful. Thanks for great interview!
You are So right to bring this area of reality up into awareness and conversation. The Church is weak in understanding the spiritual realm, the warfare, and as you said, who we are in Christ. Jesus shares His Authority with His children, we are seated with Him in Christ... So amazing!! And this is SO THAT we can bring the Victorious power of Christ into people's lives and circumstances here on earth!
Come to think of it, as an RN, I wonder how many people that have been diagnosed as schizophrenic may or may not be so. Not saying schizophrenia isn't a real physical disorder, but could there be a spiritual component as well?
Guess I should have watched until the end before commenting. It doesn't ultimately matter, we can still pray. If a demon surfaces, we pray. If one doesn't, we pray. Very encouraging.
Dr. Karl Payne's method that he describes in great detail in his book, "Spiritual Warfare: Christians, Demonization, and Deliverance" has the best advice on laying ground rules for demons before ever engaging them in an encounter to evict them. Starting always with "In the Name of Jesus Christ," he completely binds them in what they can and cannot do during a session and then begins the eviction process. His teachings can also be found online, on RUclips and his church website. Wish you would do a session with him on this channel. He is always victorious in this type of ministry today. God is good all the time!
22:00 YES THAT ADVICE i layed my hands on my neighbour to pray for her one time. And i dare not do it again, ive never felt such a spiritual resistance as i did with her. I almost couldnt speak, i was shakeing uncontrolably and i had my eyes closed and they were shaking and i pushed through and prayed so much more intensely than i had anticipated. I removed my hand and i stopped shaking. It was wild
Around 10 years old I started having night terrors. My parents were not religious or had a relationship with God. There was a movie I was obsessed with around that age it’s called the craft it’s a very well known movie. Well I was intrigued by the witchcraft in this movie and I started trying to do some of the rituals with my neighbors. FYI all my neighbors were 10 and under smallest 5 years old. I would encourage all the kids to lay down and chant something to try and levitate someone off the ground. This was a ritual from the movie I had seen. Around this very same time my dreams were becoming terrifying. I would dream of demons torturing me and other stuff I cannot mention. But I am 100% sure I opened the door to something at a very young age. Because some of the dreams were not something a 10 year old can come up with. Glory to God he took them away when I had my first baby. I cried out to him and he took them away.
This is reality, I can attest through my own experience. Life completely changes once you go through this and it level-sets your walk with Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, people are hesitant to share and educate others how to address spiritual warfare. If you want to know if spiritual warfare is real, then sincerely ask out loud in your home for Jesus Christ to come into your life and say out loud that you repent/renounce/reject all thoughts, intentions, actions that work against God's rules (the ten commandments) and start cleaning house. Throw out anything you would not want to do/say/practice in front of Jesus Christ. Read your bible daily. Pray in the name of Jesus Christ, under the authority and blood of Jesus Christ that your life is now being lived for Christ and the glory of His Kingdom and you are under the protection of God the Father, Jesus Christ His Son and God, the Holy Spirit. Pray for guidance and protection daily. Much love and blessings to all whose heart is truly seeking a relationship with their creator, Jesus Christ.
I have been seeking, for a long time. I have not gotten any closer to believing. I have researched a lot about all of it from God, creation, demons, spirits etc. I guess I have a hardened heart bc I don’t believe much of it.
@@JohnG93 The fact that you are interested in seeking God, your creator, is admirable. Ask Jesus Christ to help you know He is your redeemer and take a few minutes each day to just talk to Him, asking Him to reveal Himself to you is a great start. He is a gentleman, He does not force His way into your life. He gave us free will to choose Him or to choose his adversary. You have to ask Jesus Christ to come into your life and then He will start working in your life. You may not realize it for a while but eventually, you will notice. Praying for you and looking forward to seeing you in His Kingdom!

When I find myself in a less than satisfactory disposition, I remind myself of my blessings. I live in a country that allows me to worship freely, I have shelter, I have food, I have clothing, my health is less burdened than others who are blind or paraplegic, my humble lifestyle comforts of electricity, plumbing, air, heat, transportation are luxurious compared to the life of Christ on earth and Jesus willingly gave his life for me to be cleansed of my sins and if I accept His gift of grace and mercy, I am passing from this life to His Kingdom. A true eternal blessing. Keep your heart open to Christ and you will come through the storms of life stronger and grateful.
people can have demons and people can have strongholds So they need deliverance and healing and renewing of the mind and it’s important to repent, to surrender, to renounce, to forgive etc. demons try to hide but in the Bible it says everything hidden will be brought to light and God is the Strongest Most Powerful 😊❤ It’s good to be completely free 😊❤ praise God Who the Son sets free is free indeed

I believe that Lord's prayer protect us and moreover when we are "IN Christ" no unclean, demonic spirits would touch us. Not without our permission. When we follow Jesus, there is no way we can focus on demonic realm either or begin to get fearful about the unclean spirits. Holy Spirit and other spirits can't live in the same place at the same time... Christian Spirit has divine protection... and I trust in the Word of GOD became flesh through Jesus our Messiah and He overcame ALL darkness on the Cross❤🙏🙏🙏
Thank you Sean for giving credibility to this subject by opening it up for discussion. Thank you Steve for boldly addressing this topic. As a young girl, I often "saw things" that no one else could or would see. When I tried to describe them, I was told I was just dreaming. I can't explain what exactly was different, but I knew when I was dreaming and when I wasn't. Little ceramic figurine "angels" would dance and try to draw me into a conversation. They were so pretty and elegant. I wanted to engage but something inside me said I shouldn't. As an adult, I would have visions of horrible things that were about to happen and I just dismissed the thought until I later realized that they were happening in real time. The Columbine massacre. 9/11. Others more personal. I learned that during those times I needed to stop what I was doing and pray. So maybe not demonic, but God calling His warriors to prayer. But life got busy and I soon stopped having the visions. Makes me sad, now, to think that perhaps God knew it wasn't worth giving me a vision because He knew I wouldn't take the time to pray. But then my firstborn child started seeing things at a very young age like roaring lions and slithering snakes....while he was fully awake, at least as far as we could tell. Other parents tried to give us helpful advice like giving our son a bottle of "magic" water to spray on the threatening creatures. Uh, yeah, no. Just no. I believed my son and knew he needed more than an impotent magic potion. When I read Psalm 8:2 I knew it was the tool each of our children could use against satan and demons: "From the lips of infants and children, you have ordained praise, to silence the foe and enemy." We taught our children that if they were praising God, the demons would have to be silent and in fact, flee. Our son continued to see things well into his teen years, but he had the tools to make them go away. And no, he is not schizophrenic.
The demons that many believe are not real, that operate from the shadows void of light will be fully unmasked to the ignorant in hell, their eternal abode.
Ephesians 6:12 “For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.” But don’t worry Jesus already Won He is the Strongest Most Powerful and the devil and the demons are losers 😊❤
I wonder why we’re all so much more fascinated by demons than the opposite. I wish it weren’t this way, but I find myself on here because it reminds me that there really IS another world and we’re not just inferring it from reading the words in older descriptions of what could just be what happens in the mind. I hope for the day when manifestations of the Holy Spirit- in a good way- not barking and clapping- like more feeing real love and seeing miracles or even just presence or the magic of life and love are there. Yes, I’m using the word magic because it expresses something delightful and beautiful and is not the same as occult magick. But anyway, I want that/ to feel like good is more exciting and very real- than evil/ and have that be all I m searching for. Maybe I’m just understimulated. Pray for me. 🙏
Hey Sean, I would like to know what you/Steve would tell a person, who has had a demon expelled from him/her, to do to keep the demon from coming back?
In a couple of examples he mentioned people in his own church/ christan family. While that doesn't mean they're already followers of Christ, does he have a stance on believers being demonised/ possessed?
I don’t think the supernatural is real, and it has nothing to do with “fear or uncertainty “. It has everything to do with a lack of testable evidence.

@@JohnG93I can tell you with certainty it is 😊 Just to note belief is not a feeling or emotion in your heart. You can believe that your mom loves you even when you don't feel very loved by her at the moment because she's mad or something. 😊 Belief is a choice, and you hold onto it despite emotion. Sorry if I sounded preachy 🙃 but I can get mixed up in my feelings too so hope this helps 😊 I'll be asking God that He reveal Himself to you in a way that is undeniable ❤️
Darkness and light cannot coincide-oppression and possession are two different things-a believer has the Holy Spirit residing in him and the Spirit doesn’t share His dwelling place with darkness. He is free indeed and no longer walking in darkness. A non-believer automatically walks in darkness and is open to demonization.
Steve mentions Neil Anderson and his book "the bondage breaker" . I would recommend it if people are troubled by these things.The devil is real but Jesus has defeated him.

I have a question because I have seen different responses to this : on the authority of binding and loosing, can we bind the devil? And the principalities?
Yes! Scripture says that all authority on heaven and earth has been given to those who believe in Jesus so whatever we say is bound is bound and whatever is loosed, loosed. I remember reading in an autobiography by Oral Roberts, a famous evangelist in the last century, and he mentions that he and his wife agreed to bind a man who wanted in on Oral's healing ministry for solely monetary purposes. Well that man was spiritually bound and came to Oral begging to be released, to which Oral agreed if the man truly repented to God. The man did and wound up as one of the greatest friends of Oral's ministry. This is from page 83-84 in Oral's book Expect a Miracle. So yes when we believe in Jesus we receive the Holy Spirit, Who gives us the same power and authority Jesus had since we are continuing His work on earth. And when we ask the Holy Spirit to fill us and work through us with hearts that are soft and bendable to His will, He can and will do anazing spiritual things through us 😊

@@SM12397 Thanks for the response. But this is not as obvious as it seems. Because indeed God says He has given us authority, He doesn't say except for satan... However it is true that the Bible talks about binding satan in the end... Also we see the arch angel say, the Lord rebuke you, when satan was contending for the the body of Moses.. Mike Heiser who has quite some knowledge on this topic also says binding and loosing is linked to spiritual warfare... So you see, it's not so obvious after all... At least not to me Blessings
Do not discount any part of God‘s Word for in discounting evil spirits and their presence in our world and their fight against God and Christ’s children and Kingdom, you are saying at least in some part that there are parts of God’s Word that are either unimportant, irrelevant, or simply are mistaken. That is entirely wrong as a believing Christian since our Lord spoke to us about the reality of demons and until you grow up in a family that is evil you will not fully understand that demons manifest themselves and absolutely can be seen and felt.
at the end about 56:40 minutes miss-stated Bible verse as Hebrews 13:1. It's Hebrews 12:1. Also, how does weight = wounded? i do believe it is our reaction to adversity is what determines the quality of our life here, and for the kingdom to come. I do feel like I am running a long race, but it is getting harder and harder to keep trying to stand with Jesus, our Messiah, our Savior, whose Hebrew name means salvation. How do I keep putting myself out into the world when I've been snared often because I didn't know the Bible properly. How do I know that my choice is a G-dly one, or under the influence of this world? Wounded over and over again, I wasn't even allowed to be raised in proper love. I was allowed to not understand what love is. My dad chose another wife, and not my mom. I had been chasing love my whole life and not recognizing that my learned definition of love was actually an idol, because my life, due to "love" (improperly defined) has destroyed my life. I then learn the family strong holds and wrong ways I've chosen over and over again as far back as I can remember, and now in my gray years, trying to throw off the wrong walk history. It is so hard to keep walking forward. I hope and pray that Christ makes my steps straight. Yeshua is the way, the door to our heavenly Father. Let's keep turning to G-d daily. Pray always, see His grace, love and mercy. After all we are still here to have a chance to chose Him, ever lasting life. Amen Shalom

Demons are as real as hell is real. But God is even more real. As a Christian women, I' myself has encountered many demonic attacks and experiences. Because devils and demons hates true believers, and will make sure they tight or tormenf you. But by faith in my Lord Jesus Christ I've learn to depent upon his word , and to rebuke these demons by faith and prayer. As the Pastor said, you need to know you who you are. Regonise your persion in Christ, and know that greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world. John 4:4 🙏🙏
I think this whole "war on drugs" can be equated to these possessions. People don't know what is going on when these possessions happen so they self medicate. ??? You can clear the possession each time but the key to permanent freedom is a relationship with Jesus, rid yourself of as much sin as possible and close the open doors to satan. Put on the Armor of God. You have the power in Jesus name.

My inner skeptic isnt so sure about this or the need for a whole book on the topic other than scripture... I've had my own experience and it fled from the room by calling on Jesus name. That's it, just call on His name. If you're reading the word daily, staying close to the Shepherd than He will keep the wolves from His sheep. I get concerned when books are written on these topics and money being made when it seems the answer is in the Bible already.
It’s always important to have discernment and to align everything with the Word and Prayer The Bible does talk about everything And sometimes God tells people that they should write books we should never doubt Him or limit Him or anything bad like that Testimonies are good it’s important to be aware of the spiritual realities and to learn from others experiences and to hear about God 😊❤
Demons are only able to manifest/torment the unsaved so the fact that after he “gave my life to Christ” and “made him the lord of my life,” he was attacked by demonic beings - because neither of those concepts are the gospel! Jesus doesn’t need YOUR life - he gave HIS life for YOU & he wants to give YOU the Holy Spirit who will then protect you from demonic possession!
6:28 I haven't finished the video yet but this seems messed up -- he describes this first dream/experience as being super traumatic and terrible but at the same time the content of the dream seemed to warn him about hell and made him convert to Christianity entirely. So which side sent him that experience?
8:41 so after this PTSD-inducing experience he keeps having nightmares, understandably, and this scares him about demons so much that naturally he'll rush to get help from the opposite side. Of course I don't know what really happened to this man, but the logic is so backward that I wouldn't try to study about theology from this experience and his interpretation of his experience.

I was a psych patient 2020 the the entire summer. I was locked in a hallway for 40 days, let out, went back in another 40 days. At the time I felt like everyone else had demons and maybe some of them did.. but so did I.
I didn't realize how bad it was until I asked God to help me and all the creepy stuff stopped.
It is hard to explain to someone who has never gone through it.. but being demonically fallen felt like reality itself was altered around me. It was very interesting and something about it was intoxicating/ it made my judgement extremely poor while at the same time making me feel like I had super powers.
It's funny how the truth is the opposite. If God didn't exist ALL OF US would be loaded with those nuggets.

I’ve never for one moment doubted that demons are real. As a child, my Mom and her friend had an experience with a “ghost”. And my grandmother’s house had death sounds which I also experienced. I shared with the pastor of our church at the time that I sensed a demonic stronghold in a grove of trees across from my parents home. He said that others had said that when they came back to the church to give a program, that they could sense a difference when they crossed the the bridge just before my Grandma’s house. Which makes sense because my cousin that owned the property was an evil man. My husband shared with me recently that when Mom would ask him to outside after dark to dump table scraps that he got such an eerie feeling and would hurry to get back inside. And my son hated being outside there after dark. I was never scared because I guess I grew up there and felt as a Christian I had the protection of the blood of Jesus.
He was talking about his ten year old daughter. I think more times than people realize, when kids say there is something scary in their room, under the bed, that kind of thing, that it is demonic and not just their imagination. Not all the time, but many times. Satan doesn’t play fair.

I am only 14 minutes in and I am in so grateful and shocked... these have been my experiences too... and in the past I didn't know what to do... i used to be an elementary school teacher and some of the students would manifest demons in front of me and I feel so bad that I didn't tell it to go in Jesus name... I was just so shocked... I was in seminary school at NOBTS and my mentor started to manifest a demon and I did nothing.... I've also experienced random people glaring at me like they hated me and then I realized they had all this occult stuff on.... I 1,000% believe that we are EXACTLY as you said we are in the kingdom of light and they can see it.
What does it mean for a "demon to manifest"? How exactly did the children and your mentor "manifest a demon"? What happened? And random people glaring at you -- why do you jump to the conclusion of demons and not something like mental illness, sleep deprivation, etc.?
The mentor starting blinking compulsively and her head and neck were moving in a way like there was a struggle going on within herself … I had seen it happen once before in someone else… it’s bizarre … I looked across the table at another woman who was witnessing the whole thing and she was as shocked as I was because she had known this mentor for a few years . I was just meeting her for the first time over lunch. The school assigned her to me- everyone new graduate student got one.
This one particular student was growling at me and her personality was gone and something else came there that was not her. I’ve taught hundreds of kids truly it was smirking and laughing and making strange noises … she was a brilliant child but she had serious behavior issues and did not like to be caught in lies or face consequences.

Wow, the descriptions of the angry people made me think of an experience I have. I was walking past people at a train station and something made me take a second glance at one of the people. He was staring at me with the scariest angry face I have never seen before or since on a human, it reminded me so strongly of that Doctor who adversary, the smilers, when they showed their 3rd and angriest face. I was terrified, looked away and walked away quickly. It still brings tears to my eyes when I think about it.

I have experienced the same thing. I could go through a checkout line and the cashier is pleasant with everyone else when I get up there they turn Stone Cold. I asked a former Pastor if it could be spiritual and he did say that yes it can be, but the enemy in them recognizes the spirit of God in me.
I had 2 poeple on separate days once, curse at me, as I was just walking past on the way to a shop...I jusst knew it was a spiritual cause, since there was no provocation, and no cursing was aimed at anyone else. Fortunately i was not afraid, I also had my hubby there.
I was attacked by an entity when I lay in bed one evening. I wasn't a Christian and didnt know how to pray. All I could remember was the first couple of sentences of the Lords Prayer and I couldn't even say them as I was so terrified.
It didnt matter that I couldn't speak as He saved me regardless 😊😊❤
Just thinking of seeking help was enough . That was 30 years ago and I'm so grateful to God for allowing me to realise that He actually really exists, and He comes to our aid when we need him

I had the same experience. I was raised Christian, pastors kid. And never had a demonic encounter until after I started actively trying to convert people. I've had people call me on the phone at work that responded to my thoughts.
This year I had a patient that wished me a "happy belated birthday" 1 day after my birthday. This guy didn't know me and none of my coworkers told him. So.. You kind of just get used to it. The hard part is when you are confronted with a possessed person I almost always forget to pray for them. So I guess it shows my maturity is not all the way there yet.
I really appreciate that you understand not everything is demonic, but might be a physical condition. I like your answer to not knowing which it is: It never hurts to pray. I can do that!
Use your authority and COMMAND the spirit...in the name of JESUS to leave and to be bound in the bottom of the sea!!
Just under 5 months of very intense Spiritual Warfare in 2022: demonic, angelic. Many less intense periods back to 5 years old. This stuff is very real.

Sometimes God allows us to feel His Presence, He can literally touch us 😊❤and He gives us Peace that surpasses all understanding, Love, Joy , Strength etc of course it’s always important to never live by our emotions and to always be aware of His Presence knowing and remembering that He is always there with us (we are never alone) guiding us, helping us, speaking to us😊❤
Meanwhile the devil and the demons only want to steal kill and destroy so there presence is dark, heavy, wanting to instill fear and they are dirty etc.
Sean - This was fascinating. I believe that the Western church has really watered down the supernatural aspect of our faith. Demons are definitely real, but they're laughably weak compared to God.
They can only be withstood w/ the authority & victory that Jesus offers; we have to be covered by The Blood.
Makes me realize how laughably weak we are, to be weaker than them without God on our side!
I had a similar experience that Steve had when first became a believer and I started really getting into God’s word and then would have what felt like someone choking me as well and in my dream it was a dark presence but I couldn’t see its face. I was saying in the dream “Jesus is King” and that’s why I was being chocked. And then I remember I was praying and then woke up and my neck was soooo tingly and felt like it was really grabbed. I have had a couple of those and prayed that God would rebuke those evil spirits and things away and haven’t had one of those dreams in awhile.
Submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee. This is SCRIPTURE!
I'm so glad y'all are talking about this. I have been trying to get my son who has been tormented for years by demons to write a book about his experiences. This is real! I have experienced demons myself. You know it is demons because the name of Jesus is the only thing that gets rid of them. They go immediately. My son also suffers from PTSD and night terrors from this. Since getting re- baptized and following Jesus more closely, he has been mostly relieved from the night terrors. But still occasionally has attacks in his sleep.
Once you have been exposed to demons, you can recognize them, and they recognize you. This is why you can now detect evil in people. These demons see Jesus in you and are truly afraid.
This stuff really is real, I've had to deal with it in traumatic ways growing up, [I'm only in my 20s] and my father relates to the INVISIBLE hand choking mentioned here. Nowadays I rely fully on Jesus to get through all things and he always comes through, He is Lord over All. But it's true that the church needs a wake up call, to address this stuff. 🙏 Yes, there has been a cultural shift toward recognizing the paranormal/extra dimensional, though sadly that cultural shift has come in on a wave of accepting witchcraft, mysticism, and occult activities into the mainstream of culture, rather than a rise of genuine Christianity. I say this as one who grew up in the church, steered clear of the occult all along, and was otherwise sheltered, yet still encountered it through people who claimed to be Christians, but were living in sin that opened the floodgates to demonic oppression, and even possession; which included many of the details Steve describes here. While I can put my fear of demons to rest in Jesus' name, I still need prayer, and the battle isn't over, as I sometimes still struggle with experiences or nightmares "sensing" evil presences nearby. Anti-God relatives clashing with lukewarm [and some serious] Christians here have stirred "friction" between spiritual forces lately. The apathy and denial many in the church have over this issue only allows it to grow worse, like a deadly infection... I'm a very scientifically minded person, trying to find a "logical" reasoning behind everything, but in truth, there are things where "an unseen realm" IS the only rational explanation, even atheists have opened up to me about that.

I've been attacked by demons before. Every time, I'd say to them, "I'm a child of Yahweh, you can't hurt/deceive me." They would flee every time.

Twice in my life I've woke up late in the night surrounded by pure evil. I started praying and calling on God and the evil disappeared and i went right back to sleep. I didnt realize this was demonds i dont know what i thought. Im glad i have God to protect me. I dont know why this happened.

When my aunt who was a pastor passed, she raised me and my brother from when i was 1y.o till graduating college and so ive got a lot of various regrets I wished I could have done before she passed and not being able to see her even on her funeral. At one point I wished I could see her one last time and right after that thought I am reminded immediately of what she told me that if you saw their spirit after passing that’s not them. It’s the devil trying to deceive you and copying them. So don’t be fooled by it. Thankfully that didn’t happen despite of my thought. Although I dream of her once in a while until now.
From what I’ve heard it’s not good to dream of people who are resting/passed because it’s most likely to be a demon and talking to the dead is called necromancy so it’s witchcraft
By the way I recommend not listening to kpop I used to listen to a lot of secular music but its literally demonic and I can give many examples why God has helped me to stop listening to secular music and I never want to go back if it’s not about God what is it about? If it’s not for God who is it for? The devil used to make music in Heaven until he got kicked out because he wanted everyone to worship him instead Ephesians 5:19 “singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts.” 😊❤️

I had a similar experience of being choked by a pair of hands they looked blue in colour and felt cold against my neck. I grabbed the hands and yanked them away from me and said, "get away from me you demon from hell" and sure enough the hands vanished. I looked over at my then husband who was fast asleep in the bed next to me and he didn't hear a thing. I have had several other encounters while I was married and later on in my relationship with a former partner. Both my ex husband and former partner had dealings with what we call obeah or the occult. They both have family members who deals with these dark forces on behalf of others or for themselves. Only after my relationships ended, did I get the full understanding of why I was being attacked in this way. I was laying with dogs and catching their fleas! We should be careful of the company we keep, I have come to understand that the very people that live around me, some are very mixed up with the occult and obeah and it's growing in interest the younger generations are getting into this stuff without even realising it. New Age is a gateway to these encounters and it's popular, with celebrities too!
Call on Jesus have a real Christian partner and no intimacy until married.
I've read and experienced much in this area, but will prob buy this book. I've always wondered how the early church and the ancient Hebrews dealt with this. Also learning about more experiences are always helpful. Thanks for great interview!
You are So right to bring this area of reality up into awareness and conversation. The Church is weak in understanding the spiritual realm, the warfare, and as you said, who we are in Christ. Jesus shares His Authority with His children, we are seated with Him in Christ... So amazing!! And this is SO THAT we can bring the Victorious power of Christ into people's lives and circumstances here on earth!

Dr. Karl Payne's method that he describes in great detail in his book, "Spiritual Warfare: Christians, Demonization, and Deliverance" has the best advice on laying ground rules for demons before ever engaging them in an encounter to evict them. Starting always with "In the Name of Jesus Christ," he completely binds them in what they can and cannot do during a session and then begins the eviction process. His teachings can also be found online, on RUclips and his church website. Wish you would do a session with him on this channel. He is always victorious in this type of ministry today. God is good all the time!

22:00 YES THAT ADVICE i layed my hands on my neighbour to pray for her one time. And i dare not do it again, ive never felt such a spiritual resistance as i did with her. I almost couldnt speak, i was shakeing uncontrolably and i had my eyes closed and they were shaking and i pushed through and prayed so much more intensely than i had anticipated. I removed my hand and i stopped shaking. It was wild
Around 10 years old I started having night terrors. My parents were not religious or had a relationship with God. There was a movie I was obsessed with around that age it’s called the craft it’s a very well known movie. Well I was intrigued by the witchcraft in this movie and I started trying to do some of the rituals with my neighbors. FYI all my neighbors were 10 and under smallest 5 years old. I would encourage all the kids to lay down and chant something to try and levitate someone off the ground. This was a ritual from the movie I had seen. Around this very same time my dreams were becoming terrifying. I would dream of demons torturing me and other stuff I cannot mention. But I am 100% sure I opened the door to something at a very young age. Because some of the dreams were not something a 10 year old can come up with. Glory to God he took them away when I had my first baby. I cried out to him and he took them away.

This is reality, I can attest through my own experience. Life completely changes once you go through this and it level-sets your walk with Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, people are hesitant to share and educate others how to address spiritual warfare. If you want to know if spiritual warfare is real, then sincerely ask out loud in your home for Jesus Christ to come into your life and say out loud that you repent/renounce/reject all thoughts, intentions, actions that work against God's rules (the ten commandments) and start cleaning house. Throw out anything you would not want to do/say/practice in front of Jesus Christ. Read your bible daily. Pray in the name of Jesus Christ, under the authority and blood of Jesus Christ that your life is now being lived for Christ and the glory of His Kingdom and you are under the protection of God the Father, Jesus Christ His Son and God, the Holy Spirit. Pray for guidance and protection daily. Much love and blessings to all whose heart is truly seeking a relationship with their creator, Jesus Christ.

Ask Jesus Christ to help you know He is your redeemer and take a few minutes each day to just talk to Him, asking Him to reveal Himself to you is a great start. He is a gentleman, He does not force His way into your life. He gave us free will to choose Him or to choose his adversary. You have to ask Jesus Christ to come into your life and then He will start working in your life. You may not realize it for a while but eventually, you will notice. When I find myself in a less than satisfactory disposition, I remind myself of my blessings. I live in a country that allows me to worship freely, I have shelter, I have food, I have clothing, my health is less burdened than others who are blind or paraplegic, my humble lifestyle comforts of electricity, plumbing, air, heat, transportation are luxurious compared to the life of Christ on earth and Jesus willingly gave his life for me to be cleansed of my sins and if I accept His gift of grace and mercy, I am passing from this life to His Kingdom. A true eternal blessing. Keep your heart open to Christ and you will come through the storms of life stronger and grateful.

Yes! Healing often happens when demons flee because there are spirits of infirmity.
I believe that Lord's prayer protect us and moreover when we are "IN Christ" no unclean, demonic spirits would touch us. Not without our permission. When we follow Jesus, there is no way we can focus on demonic realm either or begin to get fearful about the unclean spirits. Holy Spirit and other spirits can't live in the same place at the same time... Christian Spirit has divine protection... and I trust in the Word of GOD became flesh through Jesus our Messiah and He overcame ALL darkness on the Cross❤🙏🙏🙏

Thank you Sean for giving credibility to this subject by opening it up for discussion. Thank you Steve for boldly addressing this topic. As a young girl, I often "saw things" that no one else could or would see. When I tried to describe them, I was told I was just dreaming. I can't explain what exactly was different, but I knew when I was dreaming and when I wasn't. Little ceramic figurine "angels" would dance and try to draw me into a conversation. They were so pretty and elegant. I wanted to engage but something inside me said I shouldn't.
As an adult, I would have visions of horrible things that were about to happen and I just dismissed the thought until I later realized that they were happening in real time. The Columbine massacre. 9/11. Others more personal. I learned that during those times I needed to stop what I was doing and pray. So maybe not demonic, but God calling His warriors to prayer. But life got busy and I soon stopped having the visions. Makes me sad, now, to think that perhaps God knew it wasn't worth giving me a vision because He knew I wouldn't take the time to pray.
But then my firstborn child started seeing things at a very young age like roaring lions and slithering snakes....while he was fully awake, at least as far as we could tell. Other parents tried to give us helpful advice like giving our son a bottle of "magic" water to spray on the threatening creatures. Uh, yeah, no. Just no. I believed my son and knew he needed more than an impotent magic potion.
When I read Psalm 8:2 I knew it was the tool each of our children could use against satan and demons: "From the lips of infants and children, you have ordained praise, to silence the foe and enemy." We taught our children that if they were praising God, the demons would have to be silent and in fact, flee.
Our son continued to see things well into his teen years, but he had the tools to make them go away. And no, he is not schizophrenic.

I wonder why we’re all so much more fascinated by demons than the opposite.
I wish it weren’t this way, but I find myself on here because it reminds me that there really IS another world and we’re not just inferring it from reading the words in older descriptions of what could just be what happens in the mind.
I hope for the day when manifestations of the Holy Spirit- in a good way- not barking and clapping- like more feeing real love and seeing miracles or even just presence or the magic of life and love are there. Yes, I’m using the word magic because it expresses something delightful and beautiful and is not the same as occult magick. But anyway, I want that/ to feel like good is more exciting and very real- than evil/ and have that be all I m searching for. Maybe I’m just understimulated. Pray for me. 🙏

Tell them to repent of their sins and believe the gospel.

I Agree with you that every believer is able to enact the power of Jesus... no special gift or skill is necessary.

Just to note belief is not a feeling or emotion in your heart. You can believe that your mom loves you even when you don't feel very loved by her at the moment because she's mad or something. 😊 Belief is a choice, and you hold onto it despite emotion.

Darkness and light cannot coincide-oppression and possession are two different things-a believer has the Holy Spirit residing in him and the Spirit doesn’t share His dwelling place with darkness. He is free indeed and no longer walking in darkness. A non-believer automatically walks in darkness and is open to demonization.

I have a question because I have seen different responses to this : on the authority of binding and loosing, can we bind the devil? And the principalities?
Yes! Scripture says that all authority on heaven and earth has been given to those who believe in Jesus so whatever we say is bound is bound and whatever is loosed, loosed.
I remember reading in an autobiography by Oral Roberts, a famous evangelist in the last century, and he mentions that he and his wife agreed to bind a man who wanted in on Oral's healing ministry for solely monetary purposes. Well that man was spiritually bound and came to Oral begging to be released, to which Oral agreed if the man truly repented to God. The man did and wound up as one of the greatest friends of Oral's ministry. This is from page 83-84 in Oral's book Expect a Miracle.
So yes when we believe in Jesus we receive the Holy Spirit, Who gives us the same power and authority Jesus had since we are continuing His work on earth. And when we ask the Holy Spirit to fill us and work through us with hearts that are soft and bendable to His will, He can and will do anazing spiritual things through us 😊

However it is true that the Bible talks about binding satan in the end...
Also we see the arch angel say, the Lord rebuke you, when satan was contending for the the body of Moses..
Mike Heiser who has quite some knowledge on this topic also says binding and loosing is linked to spiritual warfare...
So you see, it's not so obvious after all... At least not to me

Do not discount any part of God‘s Word for in discounting evil spirits and their presence in our world and their fight against God and Christ’s children and Kingdom, you are saying at least in some part that there are parts of God’s Word that are either unimportant, irrelevant, or simply are mistaken. That is entirely wrong as a believing Christian since our Lord spoke to us about the reality of demons and until you grow up in a family that is evil you will not fully understand that demons manifest themselves and absolutely can be seen and felt.

Also, how does weight = wounded? i do believe it is our reaction to adversity is what determines the quality of our life here, and for the kingdom to come. I do feel like I am running a long race, but it is getting harder and harder to keep trying to stand with Jesus, our Messiah, our Savior, whose Hebrew name means salvation. How do I keep putting myself out into the world when I've been snared often because I didn't know the Bible properly. How do I know that my choice is a G-dly one, or under the influence of this world? Wounded over and over again, I wasn't even allowed to be raised in proper love. I was allowed to not understand what love is. My dad chose another wife, and not my mom. I had been chasing love my whole life and not recognizing that my learned definition of love was actually an idol, because my life, due to "love" (improperly defined) has destroyed my life. I then learn the family strong holds and wrong ways I've chosen over and over again as far back as I can remember, and now in my gray years, trying to throw off the wrong walk history. It is so hard to keep walking forward. I hope and pray that Christ makes my steps straight. Yeshua is the way, the door to our heavenly Father. Let's keep turning to G-d daily. Demons are as real as hell is real. But God is even more real. As a Christian women, I' myself has encountered many demonic attacks and experiences. Because devils and demons hates true believers, and will make sure they tight or tormenf you. But by faith in my Lord Jesus Christ I've learn to depent upon his word , and to rebuke these demons by faith and prayer. As the Pastor said, you need to know you who you are. I think this whole "war on drugs" can be equated to these possessions. People don't know what is going on when these possessions happen so they self medicate. ??? You can clear the possession each time but the key to permanent freedom is a relationship with Jesus, rid yourself of as much sin as possible and close the open doors to satan. Put on the Armor of God. You have the power in Jesus name.

Demons are real. Last year I was sexually assaulted in a dream by a demon. I was scared to sleep for a while after that.
My inner skeptic isnt so sure about this or the need for a whole book on the topic other than scripture... I've had my own experience and it fled from the room by calling on Jesus name. That's it, just call on His name. If you're reading the word daily, staying close to the Shepherd than He will keep the wolves from His sheep. I get concerned when books are written on these topics and money being made when it seems the answer is in the Bible already.
It’s always important to have discernment and to align everything with the Word and Prayer

Demons are only able to manifest/torment the unsaved so the fact that after he “gave my life to Christ” and “made him the lord of my life,” he was attacked by demonic beings - because neither of those concepts are the gospel! Jesus doesn’t need YOUR life - he gave HIS life for YOU & he wants to give YOU the Holy Spirit who will then protect you from demonic possession!
6:28 I haven't finished the video yet but this seems messed up -- he describes this first dream/experience as being super traumatic and terrible but at the same time the content of the dream seemed to warn him about hell and made him convert to Christianity entirely. So which side sent him that experience?
8:41 so after this PTSD-inducing experience he keeps having nightmares, understandably, and this scares him about demons so much that naturally he'll rush to get help from the opposite side.
Of course I don't know what really happened to this man, but the logic is so backward that I wouldn't try to study about theology from this experience and his interpretation of his experience.
