    I mentioned this concept in a secondary school presentation about the halo! Interestingly I remember saying that Sebastian Vettel did complain about visibility, which kinda contradicts Daniel's comments

      Vettel complains were about the shield concept, not the aeroscreen. And most of all he did not want to see any head protection device introduced in F1 back in these days.

    That could have been a great step in terms of pilots safety and the aerodynamics of the monoplace would probably be better than the halo.
    I wonder how is this project going ?

      indycar made aeroscreens mandatory and my guess is they'll come to f1 sooner or later

      ​@@hinnick3060f1 has no reason for an aero screen, plus indycar has a halo under the aero screen.

      @@R9naldo its ugly on an f1 car. It belongs to indy. They look good with it. Wh ditch the halo when it safed more than a handfull of lifes. The drivers will overheat in that thing

    This is literally the precursor of halo. That said, I'd take Aeroscreen over halo all day. It looks much better.

      But it wouldnt been able to protect Hamilton from Monza 2021 and leclerc in Belgium 2018.
