I like seeing the overlay in the dark after the shot, not during the shot. Hard for me to see the original ball motion in the dark. Great content all around. Really enjoyed the commentary.
Been using the Hammer Effect since it came out and I love the ball. It has so much forgiveness. But I've been eying the Harsh Pearl so this is a welcome video.
Been enjoying seeing the multiple angles for ball reviews. With Specto and ball surface adjustments, it definitely helps brings out the different characteristics in each ball.
Love the edits, cuts, overlays, and low music in the background, keep it up! Hammer Effect is my favorite ball purchased this year. The Crimson and Harsh Pearl look great also, but I have to +1 having the Effect in the BOTY video.
Thanks, I like the different format. I have the Effect and Love it. My coach drilled it pin down - I think it goes longer. I put Gloss on in and I got more control. I have a good deal of wiggle room for over/under. Back-up bowler, maybe Slightly more rev dom.
Cool comparison, enjoyed both with the lights on and in the dark with the tracers. The Effect has been the best ball in my bag since I put it there, it comes back from everywhere.
Love you videos but the switching of camera angles after you throw the ball can be hard to fallow. The over the shoulder one is the best look for me. Keep the videos coming
I certainly love this format and the overall comparison! I think you could really see your level of comfort with the HRP, like “that’s coming back!” We all know angles help get the corners out lol! I think the HRP stays on the b.o.y list!
Cool one Ron. Bowling in the dark reminds me of disco bowling in the 1990's - early 2000's. I am looking to add the Harsh Reality Pearl to my arsenal. My top ball for 2024 is the Black Widow 3.0. Cracking the covers on these pieces is the reality. I don't think folks who are serious bowlers leave the surfaces out of box.
Lovin' the thoroughness of these reviews. I would not be disappointed on any of these three balls if I had to choose between them. That being said the Crimson Jackal would match up with my game a bit better I'm guessing because of the smoother motion. NEXT!!!
I have the Harsh Reality Pearl. With it and The road I just stand left throw right and watch them come screaming back. My average at the end of league last year was a 171. Now it's a 183 with those 2 balls. I am usually a straight up 10 bowler but I'm am starting to get more comfortable and confident moving left with these 2 balls 👍
Lights on or off doesn’t matter, in fact id say it’s good to mix it up. My suggestion is don’t edit the shot and change camera angle as the ball is turning. Makes it hard to get I visual on the ball.
I think a lot of this has to do with coverstock research. In my mind, SPI does fast covers better than either Brunswick or Motiv. Big B is making massive headway in that clean and jerky off the spot motion that is needed to really allow any player to compete. That being said, I am not a fan of the "typical" Storm coverstock motion. I have a Motiv arsenal that I am building, and one of the slots in the bag that I need is a fast big assym in the bag, and the Flash looked too clean and too overunder for me, but the Crimson looks perfect.
I love my Crimson Jackal, Effect and BW 3.0 Platinum Hybrid But honestly imo the Evoke tops all balls from this year. I use 2 of them, 1 drilled at 45 diff and 1 for 60 diff. The Evokes have replaced my Crimson, Ghost, OG Reality and Gem in my bag.
The effect, in my opinion, is the ball of the year so far . I throw many, many brands, but there is something about the effect. Just my opinion. However, I also like the harsh reality pearl, and last I would put the jackal. So, it's just a little different than you.
I appreciate seeing the balls in both the dark for accuracy and light for response. I was wondering if the Hammer Effect was a hybrid given it reading sooner in the mid lane or if it was a pearl, because I honestly cannot remember. It is so difficult to say whether it is better than the Harsh Reality or just different. I liked them both. The Jackal just wasn’t doing it for me in terms of reaction.
And my second comment, there is no such thing as a best ball. Whatever ball works best for you, is the best ball. What's good for me, may not be good for you?
Stop showing fake ball comparisons unless you're going to show hitting the same, mark at the . Same speed... speed is a tremendous player in the hook of a bowling ball... If you're not hitting consistent speeds, the balls will react differently. Please post the speed.

So far the Attention Star is my favorite ball for 2024.
I like the seeing the tracks with the lights out, but it helps me learn to watch the ball motion with the lights on.
I really like that you can throw any ball brand. I really enjoyed this video!
Been using the Hammer Effect since it came out and I love the ball. It has so much forgiveness. But I've been eying the Harsh Pearl so this is a welcome video.
I like see all three in the dark made it easier to see the differences. Great video!

The Hammer Effect will be my next Ball Choice, Thanks for sharing the Comparisons
Yea Ron i like the shots with the ligjts on.
Love the edits, cuts, overlays, and low music in the background, keep it up!

Love the review style. Great to see the line being thrown before and after the shot.
Really informative and great content and comparison.

Love the crimson jackal

Love the comparison. I would like to see this same comparison with the lower end balls for those of us who are low rev low speed bowlers.
Put ya hands up for the 5 pin 😂🙋🏾♂️

I'm think of getting the Hammer effect when it goes on sale.
But I absolutely love my HRP for the way I play
both are good just can not see lines when lights on easy to see with them off but in return makes harder to see ball motion

Why wouldn't you roll them all at Manufacturing spec to measure?
Love the format, but would like to see how the ball goes through the pins which was hard to see because the lights were dimmed down at the pins.
Great job just brought a harsh reality pearl after watching the video on the ball would I need to shine my with the 5000 grit
Ball of the year: Sport shot : Any of these. Ball of the Year: HOUSE SHOT: Artic Vibe. The Vibe is easily the best House Shot ball on the market.
Naw, you tampered with the Effect...My Effect out of the box is a MONSTER and I'm a speed dominant two hander
Storm SPI did really good this year the harsh reality, ion pro, and the attention star are all great bowling balls.
Like this process for sure....

Lights on

Any idea why the Jackal track is all wobbly and sinuous as others are not ?
CTD - What's the best 3 ball arsenal for league? Accounting for the fresh, transition and burn? 4 balls with the spare ball.
I'd prefer if these comparisons were used when the back lights were on. It's easier to read ball comparisons

My buddy got the hammer Effect and his issue is the same hard to control....
... Curious about the impact of Hitter Pearl over the rest of the year. Hitter Pearl seems HOT! 🔥

I'd like to see these on the SPLs!
Also not a fan of the effect! I leave way way too many 10 pins...
I can appreciate that for sure
Would be interesting to see original Harsh at 5000 grit alongside the Pearl
We threw both of those balls at the same surface in a different video referenced in this one
I own the effect and love it.
Would’ve taken the attention star over the harsh reality pearl for SPI
Ion pro for me
Cross brand thane review next
Hammer Effect
Would the Track Archetype Hybrid be a better match up to the Harsh Reality Pearl?
Cool video talk tech bowling balls top bowling balls 2024 Ron hickland
I don't like the dark.
I have the Crimson, wouldn't swap it for the other 2,ball is GOATED
