Appreciate your work. It's helping me decide on my next ball.

Hey Ron - what do you think about putting some numbers (length, volume, ratio) from the house shot in the video description? I think this would help the other bowlers compare it to their league shots they are playing on.

I don't have any of this 2 yet but planning on buying one of them. Are you saying its better to get the pearl version and just sand it if I wanted it similar to the solid?

Don't like lane shining or polishing my solids....totally different reaction than just buying the pearl version way to smooth for me. Most of my solids I hit with 1000 or 1500 grit and give em 3-4 weeks of league before cleaning and sanding again

Hi, if you use the True cut gloss, that needs to sit for 10 minutes or so right?

Solid does seem to read the middle of the lane just a few boards more

I hate league and house shots; they really mask the difference between balls. I would like to see these two stacked on a higher-volume flat shot until it's broken down to see if it's a good 1-2 punch or if it's too much overlap for a 12-ball arsenal.

At the very least a 5:1 or 6:1. House league 10:1 patterns make all balls look similar. Little need to buy those fancy $200 balls anymore, or so it seems. Kaboom or Fireball all night long.

If you need twelve balls, the problem is not the ball.

I bowl league on a low volume house shot, so there is transition in a 3 game, 4 player per team night. I have 6 balls for tournaments, but won't bring more than 3 for league. I look forward to bringing different combinations this coming 2024-2025 season.

@@FredSoDak Do you mind explaining what 5:1, 6:1 and 10:1 mean?

@@HippieP629 oil volume at 22' from the foul line measured at the middle boards & the outside boards (18-18 & 2-6 is what we use). certain ratios categorize the pattern if averages require adjusting for tournaments. around here, all centers are using a "standard" pattern ratio for leagues & then some type of "challenge" pattern ratio for cash tournaments.

The pearl definitely revs up more and drives through the pins on that line better than the solid.
