I was moved to tears by that innocent and vulnerable beautiful precious little face. Such a sweet baby girl. What great care you are all giving her, simply marvelous! Thank you!!! Her mum will be well soon again with the exceptional vet care as well. Thank you for letting us see her little face on camera. Well done!!
I absolutely adore the innocence and pureness of animals it brings me to tears we should be grateful for them no badness in any of them what went wrong with us makes you wonder. Go watch my octopus teacher on Netflix amazing
01:18 Po lil Afia... But she is in good hands from the caring and experienced personnel at the BRISTOL ZOO - BAR & GRILL.. Se Habla EVERYTHING... 8 million years ago, we humans and Gorillas shared the same common ancestors. Gorillas have gone their own way, and we have come to this far, conquering the surface of the moon, realizing that our realm of Universe is far reached to the clusters of 100 trillions of Galaxies.
In a way, i agree! But, most zoos operate as conservation facilities now, and are doing great things now, to help animals continue to thrive and exist!
Depends on the zoo. Some zoo's have excellent facilities for Animals and take the best care possible outside of it's natural habitat. Other Zoo's not so good.
@@bryeetsonny9458 yes difinetly but when she is big enough she can live a normal gorilla life did u watch the oprah show were a person pet gorilla practley eat her alive so better safe than sorry
Nora Dee oh yeah ofc when there big you should let them live in the wild but only if they were trained in whatever place they were staying at you can’t throw animals in a random environment they didn’t grow up in,in this case this is a zoo so there going to die there sadly and it wasn’t her pet it was her friends still again sad I think I general humans shouldn’t try to keep animals in zoos but only bring them to such places when they need help
More zoo intervention and excuses for hand-rearing. The mother gorilla although poorly, like human mothers who are ill, should not be denied their baby. Gorillas are loving parents so why haven't they taken the extra time to allow mother and baby to bond and grow together.
@ce collie well duhThey they should have explained what the reason was, for a surrogate, people were bound to ask.she sick physically or did she just reject the baby?
@@meganhuggins7494Dont use an emoji like that ,like you are bothered and irritated, because you have to answer,I wasnt asking you the question anyway.Duh!,all they said was she suffered from Pre-eclampsia,and she was improving after the birth, so my quetion, was why get a surrogate ,let her Mother try when she is no longer ill. 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Cherokee Heart CT The mother was critically ill after the birth and was unable to look after the baby, improvement doesn’t mean well enough to nurse an infant and the experts obviously made the decision to look for a surrogate after hand rearing the baby initially. Wow, looks like human baby clinging to mother
It bewilders me how much gorilla's look like humans.
I think the same thing every time I see a gorilla.
Because we're also primates and share much DNA.

SHE'S CRITICALLY ILL KRISTINA
No, she’s not critically ill. Her mother was not doing well after the cesarean. So they were forced to hand rear Afia.

Has the mom ever even seen her baby girl?
Protect their habitat and set them free. Nothing cute about a baby being born into a prison.
Their habitats are under cobstant surveillance and even then they are murdered.
