John's reaction to Bellibolt is so cute, also yes, Bellibolt's eyes are the two dots over it's mouth, Iono said in the intro that the things that look like it's eyes are only just bumps.

This is the only reaction I need. As soon as I saw Bellibolt I was running here for John’s reaction and the pure joy will get me through my day easily

Mine would have been 200% but,, the 'nostril-eyes' that make it look like D!tto had a mid-life crisis bring that to -2000%

Same, I was watching TTAR's stream and after seeing bellibolt I immediately thought of PKMN7 and how much he would love it
I saw it was the elefrog pokemon and immediately went to look for Johns reaction vid
John really said "I've only had Bellibolt for five seconds, but if anything happened to him, I would kill everyone in this room and then myself."
The moment I saw this Pokemon, I thought popped into my head. John is going to love it and he will buy the giant squishy version of this that will come out in the next couple of years. And he will open it on stream

I don't think anyone on the planet is as excited for Bellibolt as John is. His happiness from the start of the trailer to the actual reveal is total 180°. I love Bellibolt, and I can't help but giggle at his name, but this may be just what John was hoping for for his entire life, and just now realized it.
John, 1 of the clues you repeated in this video was how Bellibolt has horns on its head that look like eyes and then shows you a closeup of its actual face with it blinking.
you said you weren't feeling well though plus you were pretty distracted so I guess you weren't actually reading most the subtitles.

What’s cute is Iono and Bellibolt share a trait- they both have bumps on their heads that look like something but are actually something else. Bellibolt has those eye like nubs that are actually his electricity storage organ that he launches attacks from. And Iono herself has those magnemites that are actually just super rad hair clips.

You know, I made an amateurish little reaction video to Bellibolt and in it I joked that John was going to lose his mind over this derpy new frog. Glad to see my assumption was correct! I haven’t seen him this happy for a trailer since Pokémon Snap 2! 😂

The reason for the elektros comment is that in japanese there is an expression for "charts and graphs"... Plot lines rise up (in japanese they climb) and plot lines fall down (they climb down)... it is also said that when catching eels they always try to escape by climbing upwards through your hands... that brought about the saying when someone hit it rich for example that business ir raising like an eel (unaginobori) and elektross is an eel... so in the pokemon world it is rising like an elektross instead...

I hope it has a slimmer, bulkier evolution. Kind of like a cross between Seismetoad and Toxicroak. Maybe More like Polytoad as a base?
It's huggable. But evolving would make it happier and more hyper. Just feels like there's more to this big fella than just the fact that it has a pair of fake eyes on the side of it's head.
