I feel like the emptiness of these areas has to do with the fact that they're not trying to spoil the Gen 9 wild Pokémon in the overworld. Like that area with the Jigglypuff has to have other Pokemon in it in the final game... I hope.
Since past few games have had mons wandering I highly doubt they would go backwards on that feature..
Considering there are a total of FIVE Pokémon already spoiled here before that it seems like they missed, yeah, I agree

I mean, even if they were that 'empty' - it's still at least 8x better than PLA for me in terms of interest simply because it has at least 8 Towns and 2 of which they said are large Cities. PLA was nice fun (I have the game) but honestly feels like a raw beta-test compared to Scarlet/Violet. I'm far more inclined on exploring Worlds with actual content than being able to have an actual command to toss Pokeballs freely and run away as you please from Wild battles as that made PLA too easy for me.
They still failed as in the English, there were 5 pokemon leaked right there, the pre-evolution of the two nights, a eye like pokemon, a bird, a mouse and finally a mushroom straight from Mario pokemon.
1:35 Don't forget we were told that if you terastallize into a type your pokemon already is, it gets a double STAB bonus when using that type move

5:19 in the background behind the Growlithe who's looking forward, there is a new pokemon (rumored to be the pre evolution of Ceruledge and Armarouge)
and at 12:15 look at "reset camera" on the left, there seems to be a new pokemon with antennas
For the 5:19 one, I think that’s a pre evo for Ceruledge and Armorouge.
Looking at the first few encounters (Lechonk through Litleo), it felt like they were still because they were in a test version specifically so they could show off certain mechanics with as little chance for variables.
I hope that's it.

I'm so excited for any Girafarig attention. But it getting an evolution _and_ it being an evolution I like the design and concept of just thrills me.
And it gets 2 unique Abilities (Cud Chew and Armor Tail, I think). What a day.

And the design looks awesome too. I am on the minor side who loved Girafarig in Gen 2, but the evolution is so cool :D I love it and I will put it into my team!
I keep hearing Fuecoco’s final evo is based on a singer or something of the sort and with that in mind I also CANNOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME shake the resemblance between Mela’s yellow strand of hair and Fuecoco’s two little flame tufts..Idk she looks like she’d have Fuecoco’s final evo, especially if they’re attending our school.
That's a Good call. However, I feel that for once this time the Fire type will be the slower one (only Emboar was the slowest beforehand in gen 5.) _4 gens ago._ Even then, I'm sure Fuecoco's final evo will have a lot of Power to compensate.
I always thought if Girafarig were to get an evo it's name would be something like Farigiraf. This makes me happy. :)

Purplecliffe said in a video that he hopes they don't show the evolutions before the games come out and, honestly, I agree. I think it'd make things a little more like a real Pokémon journey where you just pick the starter you like right then and just have to take your chances and live with your decision
I think the wild Pokémon are standing still because they either haven't actually finished the coding to get them to move, or removed the coding solely for the gameplay trailer
Most likely intentional for the trailer. Like in sword and shield trialers they probably removed pokemon and things they don't want us to see yet. That includes more mins or them interacting for the sake of just showing let's go features.
Remember how many times we saw Route 1 in SwSh but never saw Rookidee, Skwovet, or Nickit? These trailers always use edited pc builds.
@@keyfur93 Not much to remove for that game in turned out, heh. But for this for sure We've seen Breloom move in only the previous trailer and of course the Growlithes in Team Star's base.
It’s more likely they set up a section of map on another file and placed in a single asset set to wait to interact with
Imagine if Miltank was in the game and Mikey did a raid battle and it was a ghost type miltank. It would be so powerful.

If you are worried at how some of the gameplay looks, check out the Japanese trailer, looks better overall graphically and doesn’t have noticeable lag. Doesn’t feature the four hidden Pokémon in this trailer however.

Let's be honest, none of us were expecting a 14 minute long trailer though.

If you go to 7:18 and look at the map it shows 3 new Pokémon
These past few gens have all felt like they're beta experiments for something big, this feels like that big product. Feels like they've been building up to this for years
I like how they are drip feeding us information. its allowing for secrets and fun mystery for us to find when we get to play.

As a ginger I really hope they add orange hair back, it's a bit strange to me that the only game that has it is XY. It just feels really incomplete to not have all of the natural hair colors.
They had it in PLA, but it looks like the closest options in this trailer are the pink brown and wine red the last few gens have had :/ Is it so much to ask to have our natural hair colour available?

@@benhoward3865 Better to have to wait for it than to never get it at all. I wasn't surprised when it wasn't there at first, but when it did unlock I was ecstatic. It felt so good to be a proper redhead in a Pokemon game for the first time since 2013
@@roanpartridge9239 if you look at the side scroller for the hair color options it looks like there's a lot more options that we don't see. so most likely there will most likely be a ginger color

5:08 the stripes when they started the battle might indicate the type specialties of the other bases.
Red - Fire
Pink - Fairy
Purple - Ghost
Orange - Fighting
Dark Brown/Grey - Dark
Is it just me or does the chansey hat look like the ones from the anime in the pokemon center
So Team Star’s bases are Fire, Fairy, Poison/Psychic, Fighting, & Dark or something like that according to the colors?

everyone keeps asking that for the starter evolutions. why not just wait and see for yourself when the time comes? gives it more impact.
I already know what my treasure is: a memorable moment with one of my Pokemon while playing this game. I just have to find that Pokemon.
I think the reason some of the animations are glitchy or laggy is because they edited a copy of the game or something for this trailer. There are very obviously Pokémon missing from the overworld and such. Overall, aside from those laggy bits in the background, or those sunflora, the game looks gorgeous. Loving the textures. Hope the sandwich making graphics don’t actually look like that lol
the windmill and sunflora etc are actually moving normally in the japanese trailer so the english trailer footage was probably from an earlier version

Another thing too is that I don't expect frame rates from afar to be that high. It wasn't in legends and its not big deal for me personally

I'm pretty sure the Pokémon move about, it's just for these example they probably had them pretty static. But then, the Team Star Growlithe's were mobile.

Since she said Tera changing gives their related type moves a needed boost, it's possible that Water-type Quaxly even though its Water attacks will already get STAB, Tera changing to the same type could add to that STAB
Mayble encounters that are wild Tera encounters or ones encountered via Let's Go command, maybe those don't move?

I am SUPER excited for the new game, however, I am sad that some of the camps have timers on them. I don't tend to like activities/tests that are timed, but i do agree with what you said that it's different than any Pokemon game before and it should be interesting! I hope it's not impossible to complete

I find it dumb that a neutral option has not been a default since it is much easier than coding specific instances for he/him and she/her.. and a few I have played that are modern have messed it up and even when female they use male pronouns and thus.. just saying they/them will alleviate that dumbness
Also as a cis guy I wouldn't even care if they say "they" since I am not gonna get butthurt that 5% of a games words don't specifically say my gender.. and tbh the recent pokemon games have been saying "select your appearance" as opposed to "select your gender" so it's slowly inching forwards which I think is nice

As much as I wanna know as well, I'm glad we're not seeing the Starter evolutions until release. Sun/Moon really killed their own hype by revealing the final evolutions with months left before release. Sword/Shield and even PLA I think handled their reveals well by not showing anything more besides the starters' basic forms.
Now just announce a regional form or new evolution for Zebstrika

If you’re a completionist, you can literally spend all ur time trying to catch every single Tera Form of every single Pokémon 👀 Even if the dex is only 300 mons, that means that’s 5400 of them to catch 😮💨

it's also possible when you get close enough to a Pokemon it locks on to it and vice versa. that's maybe why Litleo doesn't move

That gesture they were doing is an Asian way of saying Hey come over here. There's something called a maniki neko that you may see in Chinese restaurants that does that exact gesture.
I know there is a lot of controversy about the new gimmick, but one good thing about it is that it can help if you want to have a team that is not really balanced on its own, like you want to play with ghost type pokemon because their designs are your favorite, but you want to have covered their weaknesses with a teratype. Of course, im guessing you can teraform only one pokemon once per battle, so it doesnt totally balance your favorite team, but its a little help to not depend on your pokemon learning 4 different typed movements each. I dont play competitive so i dont know the impact this mechanic will have in it, but im sure its going to be a little bit crazy, for the better or for the worst, we'll have to wait and see. Im not a fan of the hats, but i dont hate them either. Sure i bursted laughing the first time i saw them, but you know, i like it more than pokemon just getting bigger. But i cant help but think that, even if when it came out i didnt really care about it, the more time passes, and the more new mechanics we get, the more i miss megaevo. Im starting to realise that i actually liked it, maybe because it was more visual, new designs for pokemon. Sure we get something similar with the dinamax, but it was only a few poke, and not all of the same kind could. And they were still quite big and with red aura. Lately im started to appreciate a bit more Kalos, to be honest

I love everything about this trailer. Also all the stuff they added in I would say my favorite part of the gym battles and sword and shield were the test I love them. And so when they bought them back in here and I saw it I was like yes.
With the selfie function, i can see you and the guys doing a competition on guess a Pokédex entry and go and take a picture of the pokemon.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is a mix between Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Pokémon Sword and Shield plus The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Someone was saying that it was from an earlier build, but the Japanese trailer the sunflora were fine. I don't know why that happened, but we won't have to worry about that when it comes out

I think their not showing us the starter evolutions because either A: they know we are going to be upset by them or B: they are frantically redoing them because of public outcry for sprigatitto to stay on four legs.

@@jakalder I know but if we don't include the starters and legendaries (which they always show) then we have only seen 13 new pokemon and 2 of those are based on older generation pokemon. Normally with a month to go we have seen a few more than that.
