this kid loves carlini. carlini made a big impact on him
I agree. The great Carlini is like that. I know where this is now. If I ever go West, I will definitely stop here often.
Truly the Buzz Lightyear of CC lol
he has created a monster lols
lol Forest hangs around Carlini too much, relentless with the trash talk!
Perhaps the most impressive thing about Forest is his sheer joy at playing chess!
What a blunder
9:44 Im sure this wins a good sportsmanship award or something
Great dialogue throughout the game, including outside comments 😂
gotta love this lil guy
Forest is always a pleasure to watch...
Edit: But so is Mike... :)
12:07 this is an anchor endgame position to remember. With the Black king on the 3rd rank ahead of the pawn and White's king on the 1st rank, no matter who is on move it's a win for the pawn. White to move Kf1 or Kd1, then Black plays Kd2 or Kf2 covering the queening square. The harder part is Black on move. K to f3 or K to d3, White keeps the opposition with Kf1 or Kd3. Now another important idea is when the pawn advances to the 2nd rank it cannot be with check, because the king jumps in front forcing a stalemate. So Pe3, then Ke1 to stay in front of the pawn but then Pe2 isn't with check White has only one move and Black gets control of the queening square with his king and wins. 2 key thoughts. In this position the K&P always wins(with correct play) and when the pawn advances it cannot check the king. This was really good analysis in the video and a great reason why these videos are valuable teaching lessons.
Monster Mike was nice enough to just let it end like that. Next time Forrest
these two together have some of the best banter. great game
Good game. Both players are strong and I remain amazed by the little one. Thank you for this content 😊
How nice of you, Forest, to display my last name on your sweatshirt.
Carlini can hear shicundi calabundi anywhere in the world and will call you out for using his phrase.
Forrest got real quit when he lost that last rook lol
Forest played a good endgame. A happy ending.
He missed the fork, blundered his rook, then escaped with the draw
@@aaronchan1088
yes, when he knows not able to win, he manage to make a draw, no surrender.
@@rolandalcid7127 monster Mike missed e3, the only winning move. I'm familiar with those endgames. Forest should've anticipated Bc3 and instantly move his rook to a light square. In the endgame, where the kings were going back and forth, Mike went Ke3 instead of e3. After Ke1, black plays e2, followed by Kf2, and e1=Q
Wow, this is the first time I've ever seen the kid up against the ropes.
Feisty Beast Mode in full effect!
I'm familiar with those king and pawn endgames. In the end where the kings were dancing back and forth, mike missed e3, which was the only winning move, and mike missed it. A roller coaster game where the outcome could've gone either way. Forest had enough time to see the fork, but he was rushing his moves... then failed to anticipate Bc3, blundering his rook, and escaped with the draw. Sad that mike missed e3, which puts white in zugzwang. After Ke1, black plays e2, followed by Kf2, and e1=Q
Monster Mike that was soo funny and well played! Forest is so well trained now in trash talking that you have to play two games at once: the board and his banter!! ;) Fun game guys
I finally have my answer Forest is Vulcan
I was really rooting for Forest there. I love how he was indifferent to dropping a few pawns in exchange for his attacking position. He almost made Mike pay if not for the time pressure.
9:47 Just push the pawn, the white King has only one square to go. Then Kf2 and your pawn can safely promote.
I think he was just being nice :)
bishops go> "weeeeeeeeeeee!!!"
I love Fiesty Forest Games!
This game is getting feisty 😂
Lol I think he drew on purpose
Dennis Rodman vs Dennis the Menace
GOOD GAME BRO
LMAO forest missed the fork, blundered his rook... then his opponent threw away the win
Monster Mike is definitely a snack though :P
The child prodigy has returned yayyyyyy
This kids' trash talk is awesome !! lol freaking hilarious!! smart as a whip, and talented on top of it! the next Bobby Fisher!
I agree with everything u say, except about Bobby Fischer...
"let's see if he knows his endgames" 😐
Isn't this the brother of Dada? I want to see Dada back!
I thought it was Golani, what happened to the both of them? School? 😊
Oh I thought this was golani lol. Didn't read properly. I hope golani and dada will return!!
Noooooo!
E5 Does not exist.
Forest = GTT (Grand Trash Talker)! Hope he is also playing tournaments and continues to study so that he can be a master for reals!!!
If this kid dosent talk to much he can beat anyone
Time pressure got to Forest…I feel sorry for him. He definitely had a won game!
9:44 OMG, how can black miss e2 here and give away a winning position?
He didn’t miss anything, he gave Forest the draw by throwing the win.
GG
:D
Such a disappointed ending for so meany reasons
