I remember going to a (one of many) Sting concerts in the mid-90's, and his opener was Lyle Lovett and his Large Band. I knew who Lyle was (probably because he was briefly married to Julia Roberts around that time, I think) and that he was a country musician, but I didn't know any of his song. Well let me tell you this. His 40-50 minute set completely sold me on his music! Yes, he was country, but NO, he was nothing like the country you would hear on the radio at the time. I can't even explain his flavor of country music. It was/is unique, to say the least! Anyway, I'm not sure if Lyle was actually on tour with Sting that summer, or if they just happened to meet up at the same time in my city for that night, but Sting absolutely loved Lyle and even had Lyle join him during his own set on a couple of songs. It was awesome! Sting truly does appreciate good music/musicianship, and we as the audience greatly benefited from that!

It's a well-known, industry-wide practice to have show notes which encompass all questions an interviewee will be asked. He 100% had these questions in advance and his answers were rehearsed. But he's not a paid actor. He's a music legend. So, yeah, he couldn't play it off as well as others that have taken the Questionert. But who cares? It's Sting.

@@annebruecks7381 I was contemplating about how to respond to this. Luckily Adam Savage with his vid "Ask Adam Savage: Movie Scene That Had the Biggest Emotional Impact" came to my aid. A bit in, he starts talking about that movie. I have similar opinions about the pros he mentions. I did not see the other versions though. Regarding the books, as, thanks to the current worldwide situation, I have now more time, I decided to finally read the SF classics. I started with Asimov's foundation saga and am through about 2/3 of those books; Herbert will be next after that.

To Jambutty: It depends: If one can bring something to the table in the entertainment field, he will fare better, although it's the aspect of what type of music is being performed: The *color code* system of appreciation, the ironic looking down upon "the white-boy music" when the same pigmented ones go gaga over American movie/film stars from the opposite pastures.
As an ordinary UK to the US/NY ex-pat., it's difficult with the warped communication vibes. The workplace encourages diversity, whilst the five-o-clock, clock-out reality, pushes back its clockwork societal ambiance.
