  • Here’s a quick video tour of my van. Just goes to show that you can start your business with just about any vehicle. I DID. Thanks for watching.

Why do you need a mini sledge hammer and pipe wrench for appliance repair? What do you do with these tools?

i'm an experienced technician, great video, spot on. imho, ditch the 2x4's and cut 2 10" pieces of 1 1/2" schedule 40 pvc pipe in half longways for those pesky drain pans. i keep my small parts in WP ice bins (also free) and i highly recommend an oven cart (if you do wall ovens.) also, carrying a good plastic toolbox makes for a great stool / step-stool / workbench / desktop.

Thank you for the video. In your opinion do you think a van is better than a truck for appliance repair?

How do you use those easy sliders? Pull out the fridge onto them then push the fridge sideways out of the way in right spots?

Great video! Do you often have to pickup the appliances to fix them? I got a bad back.

You have to be able to move them and lift. Definitely not a job for people who can’t lift.

Jose Mejia thanks man it gets the job done. Thinking of upgrading next year to a transit 150. I mostly wanted to show future business owners they don't need a fancy van to get started. Thanks for watching.

i've ran service out of many vehicles, first was a '84 S-10 Blazer, then on to multiple full sized vans, now back down to a chevy HHR panel. i've found that with all the foreign manufacturer's model specific parts these days, truck stock isn't what it used to be. there was a time i carried over 200 stock parts, now i'm down to around 75... not counting smalls. also, part stock (therefor truck size) used to be more dependent on how close you were to your supplier, not so much now with online orders and 1 day delivery to anywhere.

Denifinetaly dont need a fancy van but its nice to have. I just upgraded to a transit connect. Was using a scion xb and it worked great. Unfortunately it broke down so it was time for an upgrade.
