The 5:33 "Buttplug" and 5:09 "Singular Prinular" got me. I'll try this when I buy a mini-fan and some l̶i̶f̶e̶ ̶s̶p̶a̶n̶ ̶d̶e̶c̶r̶e̶a̶s̶e̶r̶ incense cones.
I usually hate when people try to insert humor into videos explaining how to build a scale wind tunnel, but this video was actually funny. Well done mate. I actually almost subscribed
we can combine your 1998 limited edition grape with my 2023 limited edition right ring finger nail and fool people on the elevator as we use it to select floors
I'm definitely going to make one of these. I have a Honda Element, a 3D printed Element, I wanna see if moving things around on a scale Element roof rack can improve fuel efficiency by reducing turbulence IRL with my lifted Element. thanks!
You could use an e-cig without nicotine ( or with it?) to produce the smoke! Btw thanks a lot for the STLs, didn't want to jump in Rhino to model them 🙏🏼
Dude, that's exactly what I wanted to do. I also wanted to build a dyno for my TT01 (been playing around with gearing and wanted to see if that has any effect on output) but that's gonna take a lot of work
yes, you can cut costs by using acrylic sheets for the whole thing, plastic straws for the flow straightener and a regular household vacuum instead of the 80mm fan
Ideally you should print it at 1000% size to fit an 80mm computer fan but I printed mine at 800% due to print volume limitations and it still worked fine. So the choice is yours
instead of scotch taping some 3d printed stuff, can I weld up some cardboard? But seriously, great video. I want to build one. Probably use wood though.
Hey dude, i downloaded your print files from patreon and handed them to a printing service. But the dimensions are showing 8mm length and 15 mm width. Obviously the one in this video is not 8 mm in length, so can you please update the patreon files? Also, what material can i make this out of i have no access to a 3d printer?
Also can I just use like plastic from food containers and tape those? That might be a bit more economical right? Especially considering I'm lowering my lifespan so I want more money...
The compression cone is the only tricky part I think, and oh, the flow straightener too maybe (unless you can find a similarly shaped object?) but other than that? I think you should be fine. Let me know how it goes!
@@toast_channel Also, the stl files you've provided, what units are they in? Thanks for providing this model btw, been wanting a wind tunnel for a while now :)
They're in millimeters, and no worries man! Also, yes, you can absolutely use food clamshells instead of acrylic sheets. I used regular cellophane tape for the prototypes, and it worked fine. Hope I understood your question correctly this time around?
Hey, I’m a 2nd year Mechanical Engineering student and I’ve tried to make this for like 2 or 3 years but never got those levels of results. With this video I think I got a few cues on where to experiment next. By the way, is it possible to scale yours up? I was looking for a wind tunnel for 1:24 scale models, so essencial I would need to scale it up by 2.5-3 times. Love the vid, funny jokes💪🏻
Sorry I found you as one of the most recent comments and thought you could maybe help with something, I basically wanted to ask if the air straightener could sit at the start of the test chaimber because I am on a budget but still want to make it. Thanks in advance.
@@Slayer_RL. if you’re on a budget I can help you since I nade mine and I’m still making mine on a budget. I made mine with cardboard and spent pretty much 0 dollars on my build. Ideally the straightener should be a bit before the chamber so yeah you could test that out. You could also make one with cardboard to test it out.
Bro some one copied your idea made a full fledge product for model car you can check I'll edit the comment if i found the product name Edit: its called windsible
Well done on the vid, humor, pacing, oh yeah anf the project 😂
Thank you, man. That means a lot to me!
Looks like the pringles could potentially generate some lift 😂
Don't tell this to Boeing.
in emergencies, that will replace RedBull
i want to try this ,..DIY always way to go
Great! Let me know how it goes.
Longer shots of the flow patterns please ... otherwise nice vid.
Ah, should've done that...but thanks for watching, man!
That uncircumcised fork was cool to see.
Bro the commentary alone deserved the follow, nice work and I'll keep an eye out for your next videos
Always thought about how to make one of this as a child, and I'm glad someone actually showed how to do it. Great video, good job :)
Glad I could help! Thanks for watching.

lol. Let me know how it goes!
yaa i love that airflow through the cleaning lady
Thank you dude. I use smoke blower for food and cocktails, the brand is Boruit. It works well.
I usually hate when people try to insert humor into videos explaining how to build a scale wind tunnel, but this video was actually funny. Well done mate. I actually almost subscribed
Thanks, man!
Spoon created one of The most interesting flow patterns
@@Vesalempinen but there was no spoon 🤔
You are really legend guy, I need this, big thank you for you and you files!
Glad I could help, man!
THANKS BRO
SAVED OUR GRADE (USED IT FOR SCIENCE FAIR PROJECT)
love the video
you're really funny
That's awesome, man! Send me photos of your flow visuals on my business email! Would love to see what you guys did!
This thing is a really nice buid. It was very pleasing watch. Thx.
i am convinced this will win at my science fair
very cool
thanks, man.
That cow egg took me off guard.
probably gonna do one, to be honest
Glad to hear it, man! Look forward to seeing your build!
we can combine your 1998 limited edition grape with my 2023 limited edition right ring finger nail and fool people on the elevator as we use it to select floors
Sounds like a plan, I'm in.
this guy is actually really funny how is he not popular
Exactly, what an absolute gigachad! Thank you for watching, though!
I'm definitely going to make one of these. I have a Honda Element, a 3D printed Element, I wanna see if moving things around on a scale Element roof rack can improve fuel efficiency by reducing turbulence IRL with my lifted Element.
thanks!
Damn, dude, that's actually a great idea! Let me know how it goes when you try this.
I only watched till 3:25 but I think I got this!
Top tier comedy
Thanks, man!
You could use an e-cig without nicotine ( or with it?) to produce the smoke! Btw thanks a lot for the STLs, didn't want to jump in Rhino to model them 🙏🏼
That’s a good idea, let me know if you try it and it works
How much for the grape? I've been looking everywhere and no one has one
About tree fiddy, my guy. I know what I have, no lowballs. :)
Will try !
Is it possible to make it without 3d printing the parts but cutting them out
So gooood. You deserve wayyy more subs. RUclips maybe lowering your reach as you put some slangs in the video.
Thanks man, means a lot!
Great vid. im about to build one for 1/10 scale rc cars
Dude, that's exactly what I wanted to do. I also wanted to build a dyno for my TT01 (been playing around with gearing and wanted to see if that has any effect on output) but that's gonna take a lot of work
Say i if this is the best channel
ok this is sweet (aero engineer here)
Thank you, dude! Appreciate it!
What a video! love you ❤
How did you manage to make the smoke? If you run out of smoke, can you easily redo it? Are there refills that one has to buy?
This is awesome
is there a different way to make a Wind Tunnel for not alot of money?
yes, you can cut costs by using acrylic sheets for the whole thing, plastic straws for the flow straightener and a regular household vacuum instead of the 80mm fan
i download your STL files and open it in cura. it was very small so i had to make them bigger, how big i should make them?. Btw model is so good!
Ideally you should print it at 1000% size to fit an 80mm computer fan but I printed mine at 800% due to print volume limitations and it still worked fine. So the choice is yours
@@toast_channel thanks!

lmao, thanks dude. Making one out of wood's probably gonna be a lot of work! Let me know how it goes.
Hi Toast, what happened to your files? I was pumped to make it but I couldn't find the files on your Patreon.
what do you mean, they're literally right there lol. I think you're gonna have to scroll down a bit further
I don’t see the download on the link anymore. Is it still available?
it's on my patreon, you're gonna have to search or scroll down a bit
new video genre: funny as fuck videos about physics projects
Thanks, man, you're too kind!

Cool stuff
Cleaning lady LMFAO
Uncircumcised fork!
omg my guy.
Hahah, thank you for watching, man!
The flow straightener is definitely based on your shirt
lol, I just noticed! Good spot!
Where da circumsized fork doe?
The jokes in the video are hilarious lol

So.... that means I can do the same thing life size with 25 cases of wine and like 8 dish washer boxes, 2 box fans and a smoke bomb.
Could work!
Thank you broski I shall try my - no wait nothing pls scroll below
