3. No, the employees don't get excited when I walk in. I do this in many different locations. I'm not in any particular store often enough to become a "regular" in any way.

5. No, I didn't place that thing incorrectly just to bother you.
6. Yes, I probably should find something better to do. Perhaps I can spend my time watching someone do this on RUclips.
7. No, I don't know how long it's going to be before I do another one of those videos that you like better than this, but I'm sure it's coming soon.
8. No, I don't want to whisper these videos. Even for me, that feels weird and uncomfortable.
9. No, I really don't care what other people think when they see me doing this.
10. They aren't paying a bunch of people to sit and watch me on the security camera, so no, they're not discussing what I'm doing.
11. Yes, I truly do this because it makes me happy.
12. Yes, ending on an odd number bothers me, too.

I enjoyed this because I have become bedridden and I haven't seen a nail polish section in a store in 3 years. It gave me an idea of what's out there and hopefully I can convince someone to go shop for me. Some of those colours I would die for.

Aw, the Ruby Slipper color that changes from silver to red is kind of cool! Almost like an inside joke- the ruby slippers were originally supposed to be silver if I remember correctly, but for the movie The Wizard of Oz, they wanted the color to really pop on screen especially against the Yellow Brick Road… so they changed the silver slippers to ruby slippers!
I'm in the UK and currently wearing Barry M's Ruby Slippers nail polish which is VERY red and VERY sparkly...I love it!!!
I love your 'zoning' videos. You can tell you worked in retail for a while and once you do, it's second nature. I find myself doing it in various stores, too. Especially when I cannot find what I'm looking for. I know I won't be the other one looking for the same thing. Plus it gives me a chance to see all the seasonal colors! I love nail polish, especially that "Just Add Sun" line. I may need to get one or two of them.
I found your channel by looking for nail care tips due to a new medication that affects my nails. All it took was one video for me to subscribe. I also went today and gave LA Colors some of my money based on your discoveries lol. Ty.

Mary your nail polish reminds me of Whoppers Robin speckled malted Easter eggs. Pretty. Do you feel your time of working in retail helped you with the urge to organize and straighten. I spent 14 years in retail and I find myself doing the same, I did it in the craft paint aisle of my local Walmart just this morning. LOL, I have been indoctrinated to fix and straighten.
I've pretty much always enjoyed making order out of chaos. It was definitely my favorite thing to do while working in retail, too!

Would it be “against the rules” if you brought some nail polish remover to clean up the labels? It would be so satisfying to see them clean!
Nail polish remover would damage the surface of the plastic covers and leave them with a frosted appearance, making it even harder to read the labels beneath. (Plus, that goes a bit beyond what I am willing to do in this particular scenario...)

As someone who's worked at a retailer a customer like you would be a godsend, tidying up cosmetics used to give me the biggest headache! Haha, maybe because I'm a man...but it all looked the same and some of the items were really tiny and tiresome to methodically put back into place. 😅
