New Covergirl Active, Loreal Pro matte/glow, Revlon Colorstay and this Loreal foundation are great. Keep in mind Cassie is super oily. I had no transfer, it stayed put and looks fantastic for 15 hours for me and I am combo. This stuff blends into your skin undetectable if you find your correct shade. You know what this is, this is when you mix the pro glow and matte foundation together- you get this. It is perfection in a bottle.
I can verify this this foundation definitely lasts close to its claims. I applied it last night, slept in it, wore it all day and even worked in it... and other than where it rubbed off because I kept touching my face, it still looks pretty good considering it’s been a full 24hrs. This is DEFINITELY my new favorite.

Yes! I am so sick of high end foundations promise so much and rarely deliver. However this and loreal true match is my 2 holy grail favorites. They live up to the claims

I have combination skin and I loooove this foundation. They also have a great color for my skin. And like she mentioned, as the day goes on, it gets natural and dewy looking rather than just oily and gross

On the days that I do wear Foundation I definitely wear it for more than 8 hours, usually 12 to 14. I have sensitive skin and very sensitive eyes and the fragrance of this Foundation did not bother me at all.
We’ve had this foundation in the Philippines since 2-3 years ago. It was called Infallible Stay Fresh Foundation 24H and now they’re rebranded in a slightly different packaging and with more shade options. It’s odd they released this first in our humid tropical climate, the Pro Matte version was released a year after. I remember using this and having to blot A LOT throughout the day. It has hyaluron complex/hyaluronic acid listed in the ingredients and is more suitable for normal/dry skin. Although this lasts fairly long on the face, this formula does not work in humid weather or for oily skin at all.
I am also VERY sensitive to scents, picky with foundations and my skin and eyes gets irritated easily...but I still decided to try this foundation as most reviews I've seen we're so overwhelmingly positive. Happy to report there is no scent what so ever! :)
There is no reason to be adding fragrance to foundations or skin care. No one wants it. People stay using the Wet n Wild foundation that smells like paint, so really, a pleasant artificial fragrance is more of a deterrent than an unpleasant scent that isn’t added for no reason. Wish companies would just knock it off.😩
I so agree! That paint smell goes away when it dries, and then I can wear it. The fragrance usually doesn’t and make me sick so I can’t wear them. I just hate it, because there’s so many great foundations that I cannot wear because of it
I actually disagree. I quite enjoy the light floral or fresh fragrances while I’m doing my makeup. For example, I absolutely love the smell of my Missha Signature Real BB cream. Granted, the smell of the Infallible is on the strong side, but I faaaaaar prefer it over the abrasive smell of the wet n wild photofocus. That stuff gives me headaches...
As much as I love my fenty foundation, this one looks more natural on my skin and I don't have to worry about any texture wich fenty gives me. It's a really really good foundation but yeah, it smells kinda floral but only for a couple of minutes
I'm from Canada and Infalliable is close to 20 bucks. I'm curious to try but I just can't justify that much for drugstore, I'd rather pick up my Estee Lauder and find a ten dollar one for my off days.

It's really not good at all it made me so oily and all my imperfections wer on display if not looked worse and if u even accidently brush it lightly it comes off I love the matte and the glow infallibles but this was trash Imo wouldn't waste ur money

I work 12 hour shifts. Including getting ready, travel time, and after work errands, I wear my makeup for a minimum 16 hours on a work day. thank you for the longer tests!
This foundation is gorgeous. It isn’t just ok. Definitely worth trying for $11 (returnable.) Don’t sleep on this one or the new Cover Girl Active foundation.

Have you ever tried the Maybeline Dream Satin Foundation (it is newer, but not really new and comes in a glass bottle with a pump but no lid)? I have oily skin and that foundation works oddly well for me and my oily skin while looking super natural and skin-like. Might be worth a try if you haven’t tried it before since it is super affordable 😀
I've thought about trying it even though I have vurrrry oily skin. I really think it doesn't matter what the claims are on the foundation, they all act differently on everyone's skin regardless of skin type.
I was actually wanting to try this eventually, but I cannot wear anything with fragrance in it 😭 There is absolutely no reason fragrance should be in skincare or make up- it has no benefits and is so problematic! Even if you can tolerate it, you can develop fragrance allergy at any time.

L'Oreal has a problem with strong fragrances... I've tried their line of HydraGenius moisturizers and they are unusable for me because of how perfumed they are.
This foundation is one of the only ones who comes light enough for my fair skin. I typically have to buy high end to get a shade match. I love this foundation
I just got this Foundation last night so I’m testing it today. Very strong perfume in it but it’s not a bad scent. I literally just applied it and am doing the rest of my makeup. It’s full coverage, thin, light formula but settled into some of my lines already. We shall see how it looks by end of day.
I appreciate the close up... sometimes I think my expectations of “flawless skin” is too high with foundation.... I always feel like it shows all my lines and dry patches no matter how much moisturizer or if I use primer or not
If you only wear your foundation for 8 hours, how the heck do you work?! I put my foundation on at 4 am, and I take it off at about 9 pm. That's my life. I actually have dry skin, so I'm luckier than you, although when you get to be my age you'll probably have dry skin to! But 8 hours would only get me to lunch time at school and that would be pretty worthless!
Cheryl Anne Does she have another job? I know some youtubers do but many are able to do YT full time & don’t have to or want to work another job. So that could be the case as to why only 8 hours because I know when I worked 8 hour shifts my makeup was on 10 hours at least lol
For sure- I feel like you’d almost have to work part time if you wear foundation and it’s only for 8 hours max (not that there’s anything wrong with that, just saying most people work full-time or just wear makeup for the whole day)- and that’s assuming you take your take your makeup off as soon as you get home or apply it late

I saw a review of this foundation on Tara Lynn's channel. She is another YTer who is thorough in her reviews. I asked her if this foundation would work for complexions that are textured like mine is (due to rosacea and acne scarring). She was kind enough to reply that it probably wouldn't and that I should try the new liquid foundation from Makeup.Revolution instead. I have dry skin (I use Tretinoin) and love this foundation. Can't say i've noticed the fragrance Cassie. Next time I wear it, I'll try and remember to give it a whiff. 💋

I'm excited that you reviewed this! And it definitely worked better for you than it did for me. I bought this foundation the day it launched because it sounded like something I'd really like. I have straight up "normal" skin. I normally wear dewy foundations but I really like the Too Faced Sweet Peach foundation which is matte....right? At least it's matte on me lol. Aaaaaaaand this foundation..looks...TERRIBLE on me! Sat on top of my skin and emphasized my pores to the point where I almost didn't look like myself. I was so surprised and disappointed. But I've only tried it with 2 primers, gonna keep trying and see if I just need a specific primer with it or something. But even if that ends up working, isn't that kind of like...annoying? lol
the scent is a little strong but i looooove this foundation so much. it lasts me at least 8 hours before i notice myself getting slightly oily which is pretty good(:
Pretty happy that it's not actually $15 now. Their "up to 24 hours" claim means it CAN wear up to 24 hours in some situations, obviously on someone with very oily skin like you it isn't going to last as long as someone with less oily skin. Thanks for actually testing for a realistic chunk of time though, 8 hours is not enough for most working people. I plan on picking this up when I go into town tomorrow, I have dry skin so I'm sure it'll last a bit better on my skin, despite the Hawaiian humidity lol.
I feel like Cassie and I are the only two people in the world who LOVE Revlon foundations lol. I understand they’re not the most exciting brand or have the most intriguing products, but their foundations really are holy grail!! Y’all sleeping.

I love this foundation! I bought 400 and it’s 1 shade too light for me and I mix it with foundations that are a shade too dark. So far I’ve mixed it with CYO 103, and NARS sheer glow Deauville. Both combos are amazing! This is such a good mixer for me (even on its own it’s amazing if I bronzer the shit out of my skin). Love love love it! 🙌🏼

Not only (as being a nurse) do i have to wear foundation for at least 8h (up to 12h + driving time), but in my private life as well.. i think it's normal, especially if you wear makeup on a daily basis.
I used l'oreal infallible foundation 17 years ago I wonder if this is simular? It was a clear glass bottle with red trim and a clear plastic lid. It was my favorite foundation for years.

I was so excited about the Wet N Wild cushion foundation when it came out, but after 3 miserable hours of wearing that one, my nose, throat, and eyes were very irritated by the scent. It took a couple of days to recover from that. I can't wear perfumed foundations. 🙁

Like, last 12 hours min... as in if I put it on at 9am it better last through work all day, environmental stressors (I live in an extremely low humidity city so it's very dry), workout (sweat, sweat, sweat), it needs to LAST. So thank you for testing it for longer than 8 hours! Love the PAWS system too!
This was a really good color match for you. I like the undertone of the true beige color but I think it will be to dark for me. The lighter colors look really yellow or really pink.
I tried it once and I didn't really like it but I think 415 was too pink looking for me...and it seemed kind of chalky. my skin type is normal/combo. I'd like to try a color that is more on the yellow side as long as it isn't too dark. Estée Lauder double wear is the best I've tried in desert beige.
Desert beige is my shade also 🙂 I swatched some of the Loreal foundation and unfortunately the closest I found was Vanilla which is just a bit too dark but would match in a couple months lol

I work 8.5 hours any given day... so yeah. Wearing foundations past 8 hours is important to me and I appreciate when you tubers do longer wear tests.

L'Oreal has a problem with strong fragrances... I've tried their line of HydraGenius moisturizers and they are unusable for me because of how perfumed they are.

This foundation is one of the only ones who comes light enough for my fair skin. I typically have to buy high end to get a shade match. I love this foundation
I just got this Foundation last night so I’m testing it today. Very strong perfume in it but it’s not a bad scent. I literally just applied it and am doing the rest of my makeup. It’s full coverage, thin, light formula but settled into some of my lines already. We shall see how it looks by end of day.

I appreciate the close up... sometimes I think my expectations of “flawless skin” is too high with foundation.... I always feel like it shows all my lines and dry patches no matter how much moisturizer or if I use primer or not

If you only wear your foundation for 8 hours, how the heck do you work?! I put my foundation on at 4 am, and I take it off at about 9 pm. That's my life. I actually have dry skin, so I'm luckier than you, although when you get to be my age you'll probably have dry skin to! But 8 hours would only get me to lunch time at school and that would be pretty worthless!
Cheryl Anne Does she have another job? I know some youtubers do but many are able to do YT full time & don’t have to or want to work another job. So that could be the case as to why only 8 hours because I know when I worked 8 hour shifts my makeup was on 10 hours at least lol
For sure- I feel like you’d almost have to work part time if you wear foundation and it’s only for 8 hours max (not that there’s anything wrong with that, just saying most people work full-time or just wear makeup for the whole day)- and that’s assuming you take your take your makeup off as soon as you get home or apply it late
I personally appreciate your longer wear test’s. As someone who works 12hr shifts in an ER, I wear my foundation for well over 8hrs.

I like how you test foundations! You wear it as we would wear it - all day long. I like your PAWS rating system and how thorough you are, too.
I saw a review of this foundation on Tara Lynn's channel. She is another YTer who is thorough in her reviews. I asked her if this foundation would work for complexions that are textured like mine is (due to rosacea and acne scarring). She was kind enough to reply that it probably wouldn't and that I should try the new liquid foundation from Makeup.Revolution instead. I hope that this bit of information helps.others to better decide if this foundation is for them.

I have dry skin (I use Tretinoin) and love this foundation. Can't say i've noticed the fragrance Cassie. Next time I wear it, I'll try and remember to give it a whiff. 💋
This is my favorite foundation I've found. I have oily skin, but can't handle heavy silicone based foundations. I was excited to try this one bc it was water based.
The finish looks so good on your skin. I don’t do foundation bc it always looks cakey on my skin. Thank goodness I have pretty manageable skin.

I'm excited that you reviewed this! And it definitely worked better for you than it did for me. I bought this foundation the day it launched because it sounded like something I'd really like. I have straight up "normal" skin. I normally wear dewy foundations but I really like the Too Faced Sweet Peach foundation which is matte....right? At least it's matte on me lol. Aaaaaaaand this foundation..looks...TERRIBLE on me! Sat on top of my skin and emphasized my pores to the point where I almost didn't look like myself. I was so surprised and disappointed. But I've only tried it with 2 primers, gonna keep trying and see if I just need a specific primer with it or something. But even if that ends up working, isn't that kind of like...annoying? lol
I have normal/sensitive skin and live in Florida. I also love the TF peaches foundation and I've been looking for a dupe; so far no luck.

Pretty happy that it's not actually $15 now. Their "up to 24 hours" claim means it CAN wear up to 24 hours in some situations, obviously on someone with very oily skin like you it isn't going to last as long as someone with less oily skin. Thanks for actually testing for a realistic chunk of time though, 8 hours is not enough for most working people. I plan on picking this up when I go into town tomorrow, I have dry skin so I'm sure it'll last a bit better on my skin, despite the Hawaiian humidity lol.

Definitely crossing this one off of my "to try" list. My oily skins breaks down most foundations within 5 hours or so.
Lets remember she got emotional and was crying which affects the wear.... I think this last beautifully. I work in a fast food restaurant and work up to 9 hours. It wears wonderfully.

I love this foundation! I bought 400 and it’s 1 shade too light for me and I mix it with foundations that are a shade too dark. So far I’ve mixed it with CYO 103, and NARS sheer glow Deauville. Both combos are amazing! This is such a good mixer for me (even on its own it’s amazing if I bronzer the shit out of my skin). Love love love it! 🙌🏼

Not only (as being a nurse) do i have to wear foundation for at least 8h (up to 12h + driving time), but in my private life as well.. i think it's normal, especially if you wear makeup on a daily basis.

I used l'oreal infallible foundation 17 years ago I wonder if this is simular? It was a clear glass bottle with red trim and a clear plastic lid. It was my favorite foundation for years.
It didn't have a scent and was the only foundation that didn't break me out.

Thanks for the review, Cassie! I won't be purchasing because of the scent. I was so excited about the Wet N Wild cushion foundation when it came out, but after 3 miserable hours of wearing that one, my nose, throat, and eyes were very irritated by the scent. It took a couple of days to recover from that. I can't wear perfumed foundations. 🙁

Im a new subscriber. I love the music in your vids. Love, Love it. Also, I need my foundation to last. Like, last 12 hours min... as in if I put it on at 9am it better last through work all day, environmental stressors (I live in an extremely low humidity city so it's very dry), workout (sweat, sweat, sweat), it needs to LAST. So thank you for testing it for longer than 8 hours! Love the PAWS system too!

This was a really good color match for you. I like the undertone of the true beige color but I think it will be to dark for me. The lighter colors look really yellow or really pink.

I tried it once and I didn't really like it but I think 415 was too pink looking for me...and it seemed kind of chalky. my skin type is normal/combo. I'd like to try a color that is more on the yellow side as long as it isn't too dark. Estée Lauder double wear is the best I've tried in desert beige.
Desert beige is my shade also 🙂 I swatched some of the Loreal foundation and unfortunately the closest I found was Vanilla which is just a bit too dark but would match in a couple months lol
Janelle 09 i went back and got 420 and it’s a good match! i think it’s like true beige or something but definitely 420.
@@Mlpgirl168 Ooh glad you commented back because I was worried that vanilla would be too dark if were the same in estee Lauder. I will have to check out that shade! My local Walmart has been selling all if the light shades quite rapidly. It is definitely a loved foundation right now 🙂
