When I was out in portugal I was eating fresh fish from the market (Tuna/Mackarel), bread from a french patissierie, local olives, freshly squeezed orange and mango juice (they juice the raw fruit right into the bottle in front of you), local cheeses, the veg is amazing tomatoes are huge and you can eat them with a little salt on them they are so good. They also have salt pans in the town and was using this sometimes.I felt so much better in myself then when I returned home the bloating and gerd started up again, I do tend to try and source as best foods I can when back home but sometimes end up eating garbage like store bought bread, cheap nasty stuff for convenience. It just shows you the mediterreanan diet is probably one of the best diets going.

I bought an 07 X5 4.8i just for fun back in Feb because I love them. That’s when I found your channel. Now this new healthy twist is perfect timing as I have been labeled as high blood pressure, pre-diabetic, high cholesterol etc etc etc. I reluctantly started taking 5 mg of lisinopril but it actually is working nicely for me. I also immediately did a kitchen purge of all the sugary, salty processed crap and started eating salmon, chicken, turkey and started using fruits and veggies and hummus to replace chips, popsicles and candy for snacks. Thought I would be miserable but I actually love it and have dramatically dropped my blood pressure along with 4 lbs in less than a week. Less inflammation, less stomach issues and feel a lot better. Love the recent content as it is exactly what I need now. Thank you for the realistic approach and information

My dad’s family was rife with heart disease, my dad passed away at 52, and uncle passed away a few months later, late 40s, another uncle was 36, another at 35, a cousin, 35, another uncle, 56. I am 52 right now, and have always had the “normal” 120/80 or lower, (I know they changed the 120/80 as being normal), but they are trying to get me to start statins, which I will not do. They are trying to get rid of us for population control, because they’re pure evil, they want us to stay sick, so they can come in with the cure, so thank you for making these videos. 😊

the first thing you are talking about is this USA ultra processed kraft cheese and its gross I remember seeing this and being shocked how chemical the yellow looked. It was also like 3 bucks for 200g. My family has friends from eastern europe they make their own goat cottage cheese and they'll give you a half kilo jar for 1 euro. Great protein that we've been eating all our life, no one in the family is overweight or has bp issues.

You are right on about the pizza, we have been making our own pizza for years and last week we had to try a highly recommended pizza and it was an eye opener for sure. Just start with the cost, outrageous , $30 for a 16" and we left half on the table when we were done. No taste and salty toppings. Thanks for the videos!

I enjoyed your presentation as I am trying to improve my health at 78. Hope it's not too late! I have an opinion based on years of using Redmond's Real Salt from Utah. I know that Celtic Sea Salt is one of the 3 best along with Himalayan Pink Salt and Real Salt. I like the mild flavor of Real Salt. Thanks again,.

I love Real salt. I do want to try the Celtic salt, though, I don’t think I have ever tried it.
