Hi John, it’s good to see you back on RUclips and pleased to hear that there will be more woodturning videos coming up in the future. It was really interesting to see your use of shadow foam, a great idea to protect your expensive tools and also to be able to find them when you need them!!!

Hi John, Nice to see you back.
It looks a great product and one I have seen a few people use.
I don't have a drawer system in my workshop for me to use this but if in the future I change things around I would get some.
    Great video John.
    Take care mate.
    Cheers, Huw

Thanks for the comment. I had no intention of doing a video on it but when I tried it I thought, Wow this actually really good, so wanted to share my experience

I'd be tempted to use some dabs of hot glue on the parts so it wouldn't move when cutting them out, I think it would be easier and also safer as you'd have an extra hand and away from the blade.

It's a good idea I'm always suspicious of buying reamers and milling cutters off eBay that you see all shoved in a box crashing about...
Sharp blades are safer to use...

Please cut on the other side of the rule….it made me nervous watching!!

To be fair most of the time the blade is further down past the fingers. I have cut a lot of this stuff now and the only time I had any kind of slip was when I rummages in the box to find the knife and of course found the blade first! :-(
