I agree that the loud music is a distraction. Also it would have been helpful if you had explained what you were doing when you were setting the stator position. It looked like you were measuring something with a caliper? Is that how you set the timing?

I cant help but say the look on your face when it kicks over is priceless! the look on all our faces when we kick over a bike after any rebuild is the same. thanks for sharing your vid.
I have a few questions for you if you have time to answer me. Regarding a full rebuild/restore of a 77 T350.
    Thanks again.

I used a Powerdynamo kit on my M87 Pursang 350. One thing that is not clear it its instructions was whether to use a resistor plug or the gap. Depends on the plug boot that comes in the kit. Plain rubber boot-resistor plug needed. Plastic or metal resistor boot-non resistor plug needed. I found this out after much fiddling, and then reading their trouble shooting tips online. It makes a difference in how it re-cranks with some heat in the engine. Plug gap for me ended up at .022, just a bit wider than stock setting. Just my 2 cents..

If you buy a Powerdynamo kit, they sell a flywheel puller as well. You can buy those pullers by size from Hughs Bultaco or Speed and Sport or In Motion Trials or look on Amazon.

Really annoying not showing what you were doing or how you were setting the unit up, I didn't hear you say the name of the new unit, and the music was TERRIBLE!.
