Sweethearts - Thule Air Base 2011 ..

Pernille Højmark og resten af Sweethearts var på Thule Air Base i Juni 2011 for at optræde til stor Galla/jubilæumsfest samt en akustisk koncert i messen.
Dette var en fantastisk tur for hele Sweethearts og Crew, som gerne vil takke alle på basen for den store oplevelse og gæstfrihed :-)

Neat tunes. Groups as this was so welcomed and I would like to send out a super 'Thanks' to the USO of their continued efforts selecting (begging) this type of entertainment into such remote holes. Give 'Bob Hope' a big hug for us when you can.

Never had a Danish band up there when I was stationed at Thule 1968-69. Lots of USO shows came through the base, however. I can't echo the comments of Jackie James -- the Danes I knew were friendly, curious about our American ways, respectful -- though I concur that even the Air Force nurses up there (who weren't butt ugly, but not beauty queens either) started looking good after 12 months at Thule AB.
