    Thanks for the video, that little sprayer looks great. Can I ask you or anyone that sprays interiors out there, how do you treat the door hinges? Do you guys spray them out, mask them or do you swap them before and after? Been painting 8 years but don't do much spraying. Cheers.

    The 208, the first tip tested, really needs a very fine mesh strainer. Seems like it got clogged up. Surprising it sprays such a thick material so well.

    • @GOIndustrial
      @GOIndustrial 5 месяцев назад

      Big surprise to us too! The finer filters can also cause a drop in overall flow rate, which causes the FFLP208's to block as well. With a bit more time we would've tested the finer filter with the 208 to see if it replicated the same blockage; I think still too viscous for this tip size however! Thanks for the comment.

    Used mine a couple of times and really like it Josh , i'm pretty much a total novice to spraying but learning bits and bobs as i go along , one thing i'm not sure about is if i want to just top up the hopper before it runs out do i have to prime before spraying again or can i just take lid off , pour more in and carry on spraying as i was ?

    • @GOIndustrial
      @GOIndustrial Год назад

      You can top up the hopper if there's enough paint remaining to cover the strainer/filter. If it takes in any air, you'll need to prime again to avoid any pulsation! Let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thank you for your very useful videos. Quick question from a newbie, all these tips come with a metal part. Is that part the same for all tip sizes? so when you switch between different tips you don't have to change the metal part?

    • @GOIndustrial
      @GOIndustrial Год назад +1

      The metal section which Graco refers to as a OneSeal does change in size depending on the tip series. You'll find that the Fine Finish Low Pressure (FFLP) metal section, or OneSeal, is smaller than standard Rac X LTX tips (blue tips). The LP (Low Pressure) tips share the same OneSeal as the FFLP tips, so you won't need to switch often!

    Great video. Is there a big difference in overspray compared to a small airless sprayer with these tips?

    • @GOIndustrial
      @GOIndustrial Год назад +3

      It's all dependant on pressure - the FFLP tips will provide the least amount of overspray in comparison to the LP and WRLP tips. Rule of thumb, if you're looking to reduce overspray, stick to your smaller FFLP tips and orifice sizes, and reduce your pressure depending on your application!

  • @stephenrositer7204
    @stephenrositer7204 Год назад +1

    When you change tips do you need to change the small piece that goes with the tip?

    • @GOIndustrial
      @GOIndustrial Год назад +1

      You only need to change the small seal (Graco call it a OneSeal), if you can see decent wear, damage, or if it's a different size. The FFLP and LP tips have a different OneSeal to other tips in the range. We'd recommend switching it over every second new tip to ensure the best results possible. Here's a video of how to change it too: ruclips.net/video/2ISXNfUR08g/видео.html&ab_channel=GOIndustrial

    I want one. But they are so expensive. I’m just a small landlord that paints a lot. Do you thin your paint? How much and with water or some additive? Love your videos and your presentation skills.

    • @GOIndustrial
      @GOIndustrial Год назад +2

      No thinning of the paint is required with the airless sprayers! You might want to consider a Graco Ultra or Ultra Max handheld if the QuickShot price point is too steep; alternatively the Magnum ProX17 is a great unit for a landlord too!

    • @2blkSSs
      @2blkSSs 5 месяцев назад

      I’m a handyman so I couldn’t really justify getting the same handheld he has, but I have the Graco prox17 airless and I only needed to paint a front door so I bought their smaller airless the variable speed version and I have used that sooo much more than I ever thought I would. The paint waste and clean up on the smaller ones units are just so much more manageable it’s hard for me to want to use my larger spray rig unless it’s a fence on entire exterior etc.

    My quick shot always showing tail when I use aqua enamel and berger door and trim waterbase. I used the 312 fflp.
    But that tip is is working perfectly with 1step and precision maximum strength.
    Do I have to change tip size as like 314? Or is there any other way to use 312 or 308 tip for aqua enamel?

      thin it down a bit, : D

    • @GOIndustrial
      @GOIndustrial 9 месяцев назад +1

      Either thin it down very slightly, or consider spraying with Dulux's Steriguard as an alternative to aquanamel. Dulux's Aquanamel has typically been problematic regardless of which airless unit you're wanting to use, unless you can get the pressure and tip size combo aced. I recommend trying Dulux's new FastFinish product, or Steriguard if you're needing to stick with the Dulux range. Otherwise, Wattyl's Aquatrim and Haymes' Ultratrim both spray beautifully.

    Hi mate. Great video. I’ve just got myself the graco ultra max. I was gonna spray dulux diamond satinwood. The spec sheet on that paint says 0.15 tip. But you seem to be very happy with 308 for wood paint, are you paints thinner. Would that be why?.
    So I’ve just ordered a 314fflp tip cause that’s the closest I could find in ff lp. You think that will work ok?

    • @GOIndustrial
      @GOIndustrial 9 месяцев назад

      The FFLP314 should definitely do the trick - you might need to thin it ever so slightly to aid atomisation. And yes, typically the enamels we spray with in Aus are a tad thinner in comparison to USA/Canada markets. Hope that helps!

      That is correct. However with larger airless sprayers, particularly when running greater lengths of hose and spraying thicker materials, pressure drop is a very real variable that needs to be considered.
