Bobby, if you delete the country.bak file when you change fingerprint, it changes the charging writing from Chinese to English when charging phone while it's switched off

Hello bobbby,regarding the manual update, does it means i just need to press the [update] in my phone and the phone will be updated or I have to do something more in order to update. For example like connecting to pc just to update the phone or maybe download some files from some website just for update?

Vittorio Martucci so far since mu rog 2 and now rog 3, i have been flashing phones for friends and subscribers, not once have the imei issue was encountered. So I believe if you follow the vid its safe.
Hello! Usefull guide! I have a question: as I'm using a ten cent ed. with a ww ROM set from the seller, and it is not updated (nor the ota works), can I manually update it (without any problem like messages of incompatibility or else)? Is this the correct way:
Once downloaded the FW (ww) updated from Asus site, check:
- it has the default Asus naming format
- it is located in the root of your 'internal storage'
- "automatic system updates" in Developer Options is set ON (phone restart may help detect the FW file for system update).

I would like to have some clarifications:
Flashing WW RAW firmware on Tercent CN Firmware is also possible with locked Bootloader ?.
In the video there is a part in which the operator calls attention to the files: "flashall_AFT.cmd" and "zs661ks_raw_flashall.bat".
You only have to run the "zs661ks_raw_flashall" file to write the WW firmware to that CN ?.

Yes. When flashing raw files you don't need to unlock the bootloader. But you won't be able to update until you unlock and change fingerprint to ww

Just extract it to desktop. Does not need to be on same folder.

@@ehioghaeosaze6893 yeah I solved it, you have to install the earliest major update first and go on updating one by one till the latest.
Unfortunately my phone got water damaged two months ago and was not fixable at all. I bought a xiaomi 12pro instead 😂

I read on XDA about Rog Phone 3 that ASUS doesn't like their phones being unlocked more than once and doesn't allow an already unlocked and re-locked phone to be unlocked again.
I ask for confirmation that this condition is imposed by ASUS.
The purpose of my question is this:
I live in Italy and I am oriented towards buying a Rog Phone 3 Plus with CHINESE ROM and I have to choose between two options:
a) Model with bilingual English and Chinese Rom.
b) Model with Global Rom and Play Store installed. The latter model has probably been unlocked and relocked.
Does your procedure work on both models or is it safe only for the bilingual model ?.
I am particularly pleased with your clarification and will surely resolve all my doubts.

If your model has google playstore installed already no need to unlock anymore cause it can do the updates already. If still on China software, you can follow the tutorial to get the global software installed and do updates.

Yup. Files on the video only works for that version. If your on a higher version you will need to downgrade first.

When I start this my Device Manager shows "Android Phone" with ADB driver but not the bootloader interface one. I have minimal ADB installed but still have some yellow triangles on the Android phone. When I start the flash it just sits on "Flashing Begine" bit and never moves....On your video it began instantly but im not waiting 20 minutes for it to do something
You should not have yello triangles. Update your drivers on you pc

@@ITB_News check your pc if all drivers have no errors, then you mist be on fastboot mode or it wont flash. Try again to turn off your device and hold power and volume up together atcthe same time.

Both are the same in terms of specs. If you want without the hassle of flashing go for global. But if you can flash go for tencent for the same price would give you higher specs

Wolf Gang classic is snapdragon 865+ while elite is only 865. Xundd flashed to global can receive manual updates only and no ota. All tencent that has been flashed to global only manual updates.
Wolf Gang srix edition is the global variant but same as elite only. Lower specs.

Wolf Gang both are the same overtime cause both are made by the same factory of asus. Just check your option on what is important to you. Though the flashed to global will have more advantage in terms of price cause it will be more powerful already compared to the price of the strix.

Hello po. Tanong ko lang if okay lang gamitin ang CN ROM dito sa Pinas. At hindi ba magkakaroon ng error o conflict kapag nag dl ng Playstore at gumamit apps like Facebook. Yung mga games ko rin kasi from Mainland China mismo ang server like Honor of Kings at Game for Peace (PUBG M China). Mag chachange phone kasi ako next month at ROG 3 Tencent Games kukunin ko na phone.

No. Updates don't wipe out data. Just download the update on your phones internal storage and update. It's that easy. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Version is too high for now. Could cause errors if you flash.

hi, I have ROG Phone 3 (ZS661KS) global, few days ago, wifi is not turning on and cant use hotspot. I guess this was because of thier latest update. Anyway, I would like to revert it to its stock rom. I downloaded the tools in the description of this video but raw and firmware are both corrupted when extracted. Do you still have those files? can I please have it? thank you
Try to do first a factory reset and see if it fixes it. You should have the same firmware in this video for you to use this file properly

Of its a tencent edition with global rom, it could have been flashed before purchase. You can only do manual updates.

Files on the video are for a lower version. You will need to downgrade first.

I downloaded and extracted the UL file from which 4 files were extracted, now which of these 4 files should I address in ADB? Thanks
Download the files on the description. The raw files once extracted contain about 20 files inside and then just follow the video for instructions. Be sure your on the right version before flashing.

Guide is for version 2007.32. You might be on a higher version that’s why. It’s all on the description.

Hey Im Using the S865+ and after Flashing it said "Waiting for any device" for about 20 minutes, so I just restarted the phone theres a pop up saying
"HardwareStud Services"
"The installed firmware does not math the device origin. Please note that you may not receieve any FOTA updates."

How do I know the new OS isn't spying on me? I'd trust it if it was on the official website, not on Google Drive.
All my files are from the official website. But since I get my updates first I have to upload it to Google drive. You can download also from the official site if you want. 👍🏻

Manya 3084 all is working perfectly. HDR Netflix and amazon prime. Only downside is the manual updates instead of automatic

And let me add that I did everything right. First I downloaded the file from Asus site and then transferred it to the phone (root memory) and then restart

You need a raw file to downgrade your phone and follow the same process on the video.

It's actually pretty much the same process. You can look up the tutorial on Google and it'll give you the most recent CN files.
