I absolutely love this performance, and G22 has killed every Wish Bus they've done. Unfortunately, Bianca (2nd from the right, the one who does the splits in Bang) left the group mid 2023 due to undisclosed reasons. She was their dancer and I think also choreographer. However, the remaining three are such powerhouse singers that they're still able to perform and sound really great. It's the mix of voices, especially in the lower register thanks to AJ and Alfea, that really sets them apart from other girl groups. Early on, they were actually mentored by Filipino singer KZ Tandingan (you've reacted to her, and SB19 was also a part of her concert back in October) So just an intro to the remaining members: - AJ is the one with the bangs on the very left. She's the leader, and in the past was a contestant on The Voice Teens several years ago. You might also recognize her because she had a cameo in Alamat's MV for Gayuma. - Alfea is the second from the left, and she's a very capable dancer and singer. I believe people refer to her as a "visual" but I totally hate that term as it discredits their talent. She also cameod in PPop group Ajaa's debut song. - Jaz is the one on the very right, and she's their main vocalist. She's actually half-Filipino from Australia, although she does speak Tagalog conversationally and has gotten better over the years. Same Hurraira. That harmonies esp the chorus of Babalik haunts me their voices are so angelic yet powerful. Aj with the bangs is the main rapper, Jaz (red dress long hair) is the main vocals, Alfea subvocals and the visual of the grp short hair red dress and Bianca the main dancer black dress beside Jaz. They have so much talent i hope they will soon release their own EP soon. Im worried they will be inactive but they are thriving they are at different events the whole year and are always on social media updating their fans (bullets). I hope they will release more songs or an EP this 2024

I love G22. They're my vocal queens. Babalik is what got me to pay attention. AJ, being the alto, is my favorite. I don't really like Bang. Their rendition of Musika is also so beautiful and nostalgic. Check it out - they released it after Bianca left the group. I also like YGIG since these girls are the complete package. YGIG has the more youthful wholesome vibe and they're all so naturally pretty and stunning. G22 and YGIG are the only girl P-Pop groups that have caught my attention so far.
I totally understand why you took awhile & may/may not have had hesitation to check out girl groups because I’m not a girl group girlie either. I find most gg just too sweet for my liking. But I’ll back G22 because the vocals have grit, the raps have bars, the harmonies, the dancing, the visuals. As far as girl groups go they’re the ones that hit hard for me at least.

G22 belongs to the same label that KZ Tandigan belongs to which is Cornerstone. That's why when KZ had that show with SB19, G22 was also a guest. You should also react to Cornerstone's boy band which is VXON. Another reactor (who is a producer) compared G22 with Black Pink, same attitude but with vocals.
