We are not oppressed In the contrary I am disabled i have a really beautiful and lovely family I wear hijab since i was 16 ... i want that before but mom told me to wait till i grow up because she wasn'tpracticing at that time But when i reached 16 i becamemore religious and they see how better i became she wear it and and then my sister and my hole family started to be more islamic We turned into a really beautiful family alhamdulillah I can say from the families that i know ... the worst men wom i see is not that oppressive because they respect their wives they are loyal and they provide them...

This is something I will comment about. I've been Muslim for decades and studied the Quran. The word 'hijab' in the Quran is never mentioned as it relates to a woman's dress. However, in many faiths, you see women who dress modestly and wear lovely hats. My grandmother was a devout Christian and always wore her Sunday dress and Sunday hat. There are many videos about this but I will recommend Lesley Hazelton who calls her self an agnostic Jew. You can find her video on TED Talks

Prophet Muhammad PBUH said that "heaven is found at the feet of your mother" and "a daughter is a reason for her father to enter Jannah" also "a wife completes half of a man's deen"
The problems only arise when her brother(s) decide to cut her out of inheritance. Sometimes due to the circumstances of marriage, or the local culture, brothers could manipulate them.
There's a riddle from a film I can quote, "Nujum Pak Belalang", a 1959 classic by our legendary Malaysian director and actor, Tan Sri P. Ramlee. It goes: "Ada sebuah masalah, Satu banyak, Dua sikit-sikit, Tiga jarang-jarang, Empat kadang-kadang, Apa itu?" (The translation is: "Here's a question: One is many, Two is a little, Three is rare, Four is occasional. What is it?") The answer is "marriage." "Satu, banyak," (One is many) Meaning those who marry one are the majority in this world. "Dua, sikit-sikit," (Two is a little) It means those who marry two are fewer in number than those who marry one. "Tiga, jarang-jarang," (Three is rare) This refers to people who marry three, which is something we rarely hear about. "Empat, kadang-kadang," (Four is occasional) It means those who marry four are only heard of occasionally. And this still holds true even today!

In Islam there is a saying: Men's wealth (income) is joint property between husband and wife. A woman's assets (income) are her personal property
In islam women get from father side and from husband side so actually women get more than men
