Hi, I am exploring Islam. Early on in this video Tyson mentions that Religion could be man made. This suggestion is refuted but then Muhammad says that some religions are man made. I think of Mormonism which is clearly man made, Scientology, etc. So if some religions are man made then surely all religions could be man made! I felt him when he tried to explain the presence of God I’m reverted and most of the time I attended masjid or Jummah pray I felt at peace I felt listened and I started crying. Mind you due to my job I can’t attend masjid and Jummah quite often but those times I had, I felt very at peace and loved
Just letting you know brother/sister that if you're a man, the friday prayer of dhur (jummah) is mandatory for men so you have to pray it in congregation. May Allah make things easier for you and keep you and keep us steadfast.
@nadar.9941 I really appreciate the advice brother/sister but to be fair there are exceptions. And work is one of those, given that you have taken all possible steps to attend Friday pray. I don’t know where you live, but I live in UK, and unless you do Uber is very difficult to find a job or manager that or who allows you to attend Jummah. I believe Islam is a very fair religion, has solution for anyone in any situation, we should not make Islam harder or stricter for the sake of making it sound or look more traditional or oppose to other religions. The strictness is what pushes people away or intimidate some and they stay away from embracing Islam. May Allah SWT make it easy for all of us and Allah knows best

Believe me you will see the most mercyfull things in the punishment system. If you know how the punishment system work. The most severe punishments are cutting off the hand and stoning. The first one was very rarely performed in the history of Islam. And according to muslim scholars,stoning was never performed once as a result of someone being caught performing the "Act" in all the history of Islam. Even if they were to introduce it in Germany, nobody would be stoned to death. I live for over 35 years in Germany.I can't remember the last time I saw two people kissing each other in public. As a muslim, its not that christianity emphasizes the earth being the center as something important. Its just that if the bible says it while it being factually wrong, it would make the bible wrong. Just like how in the Quran where Allah says the clouds are heavy. Now this doesn't mean that islam emphasizes "the clouds being heavy" as something being important. Its just that if God said it, it should be factual. Which in this case it is actually proven. Do you get the point? Its just about statements that are in the books of god being wrong or not. Now if it is from god, they should all be correct. Which the bible is not.

Jummah is a must go no excuses, you can’t miss jummah 3 times consistently; check it out the conditions of jummah prayers

One of the beauties of Islam is that it doesnt emphasize unimportant things like if Earth is the center of the universe or not
As a muslim, its not that christianity emphasizes the earth being the center as something important. Its just that if the bible says it while it being factually wrong, it would make the bible wrong.
Just like how in the Quran where Allah says the clouds are heavy. Now this doesn't mean that islam emphasizes "the clouds being heavy" as something being important. Its just that if God said it, it should be factual. Which in this case it is actually proven.
Do you get the point? Its just about statements that are in the books of god being wrong or not. Now if it is from god, they should all be correct. Which the bible is not.
